Current My Italian friend just asked me if it's true that all Americans are fat. I'm offended but I can't stop laughing.

I always respond to OOC tags within 10 minutes, but I respond to PMs within 10 days. I don't know why- I suppose it's just because PMs are so easy to brush aside and forget about

I don't have any finals, but everyone else having finals is slowing down my RPs. Second-hand busyness.

I know it's time to go to bed, because I just started wondering if maybe the whole universe is a single cell on some alien's ass

If a tree falls in the woods and Fox news isn't around to see it, is it still Obama's fault?

The time is soon approaching! Will Hael make it in time without magical the use of treachery from Vowzra?

Pfff, I'm not gonna make that post in time, fool. Have you ever once seen me post in time? I keep setting these goals for myself so I can finally make one, and then brag about it

It won't be long still, though. x'D But it may be a few dozen minutes after the actual deadline

Cancel that, I'm not sure I'll be posting. Maybe I'll just wait until after the Big Bang

Gonna make another attempt at working up a post...

Should I post Kyre noting and responding to everything? Or focus on direct interactions towards him?

If you're struggling, I suggest keeping it short and focusing only on direct interactions: it'll spare you some time.

On the other hand, if you're having a ton of fun writing this post, go ahead and just do everything; I find it's best to keep writing when you're in the mood for it, as you don't know when you will be again

Potential annoyance ? :O

Not everyone wants your discarded body parts shoved down their throats, Vec
@DawnscrollMore like they'll more readily take on the traits of your god, I'm assuming. Like in D&D or something; if you are the god of death, and you make a race or peoples (for whatever reason), they will serve the interests of the God of Death. Perhaps they'll work tirelessly to ensure that those who deserve to die do die (e.g. Humakti); or if you take it the other way, perhaps they're undead themselves. People of the goddess of love might indeed love more -- she could make a succubus race, or just a people famous for their passion.

@DawnScroll What he said^^

@HaelDo you think it might be a good idea to make gods more reliant on having to use each other to create things? Or do you want to preserve the relative independence we have right now?

To elaborate: right now, Teknall could make Dwarfs and Vulamera could make a scholar race and the Adversary could make demonspawn, given enough might. But we could make it so that in order to create "true" life, we have to go through Slough; and in order to create "thinking" life, we must work with Vulamera. Or something to that effect.

Right now we seem to be in-between -- where the rules suggest a level of independence we aren't actually acting towards.

No, I think independence is far superior. If you want intelligent life, create it at level 4.

BUT, I see the merit of what you're saying. So I purpose that is functions like so: all can create life, but only Slough's is natural. All can create intelligence, but Vulamera's sentient creations will be much more intelligent. All can build, but Teknall's structures are more sturdy and cost much less might. And so on.

So we don't need eachother per say, but getting a God's help with their territory will make it more effective and cost less might

EDIT: I got three likes, so how could I be wrong?

Well, they cannot be completely identical. Natural life is so because it follows the 'style' of Slough, which is composed of both her life power and all the influences in her, thus abiding by natural laws; unnatural life is so because it follows no natural laws as embodied in Slough, instead relying completely on the god that performed it. A Slough owl would be flesh, feathers, and blood, made of atoms, cells, molecules, neurons and so forth. A Toun owl would be repulsive flesh hidden inside an owl-shaped shell of perfect porcelain and gold, sustained by magic means rather than natural means.

<Snipped quote by Double Capybara>

The essence contribute to the 'elder scroll' is an establishment of the natural laws that will foment the life created by Slough. It does not mean that anyone can create proper, natural life willy-nilly. If Ilunabar works with Slough to make a creature, it will be natural life with a spin on it, but if even someone as good as Ilunabar attempts to make life on her own, the end product would be unnatural life completely derived from Ilu's own powers, completely unique but still not the kind of natural life that will be common in the universe.

>I suppose the best way to describe it is that Slough's creations follow the natural laws. Working with her (or as is more likely, using her like a resource) will ensure that the natural laws apply to a god's creations. Working independently of Slough results in the use of shortcuts and permutations unique to that god, making their life unnatural.

Hmmm... in that case, I'll be making sentient life all over the fucking placw, but I'll be using a lot of Slough for the basis.
So are we left just waiting for Logos to make his arrival before the Elder Scroll is activated?

If not I might try to squeeze in one more post before the Big Bang.

I'm already writing one. Gimme until 6 PM EST, guys, and I'll have Vulamera chewing out Jvan
Guys... I just thought of something.

Did... did we just make an Elder Scroll?
