Current No point posting your writing online if you don't care about praise.

Is the rioting and BLM brought up yet?

Honestly, I don't get the grief given to SAO when there's stuff like Mushoku Tensei where the MC actively lusts for underaged girls. And it's the most popular isekai in Japan.

Also, it's kinda annoying going back and forth writing short replies since I got other stuff to do and that just interrupts my rythm.

I love how Odette is a fake cool type while Lily is a real one. Makes a funny contrast.
@Hammerman, I like Lily already...

Thanks! I try to make her personality be pronounced, even thought that might make her seem a little, okay, a lot rude :D
"Who is this kid?" was the first thought that came to Lily's mind when Ascot out of nowhere introduced himself to her. She freely eyed him from his head to his foot, not caring that it probably wasn't a polite action to do. He had the impudence to just flirt with her like that right even when they only first met, so she had the right to judge him right away, to see what he was made of. He was certainly good looking, but she disliked that cheekiness of his.

"I don't know this Edward T. Carter of yours. And, as for my future studies, I don't think that's really your business, is it?" she answered harshly.

Maria noticed out of the corner of her eyes the soldier girl walking away from the group. It seemed she was heading for the tavern, judging by the direction she was going.

"H-hey, where are you going?" Maria shouted to her. "Shouldn't we stick together?" She was quite surprised by her just walking away right that. She must have been a brave soldier in their original world.
Lily took the scenic route to the school, meaning she walked there instead of taking the bus. She immediately decided on the former once she saw how crowded the bus was. She couldn't imagine her just sitting there for god knows how long with those people. Not that she was against them or anything. It's just that she hated being bunched up with people, with no fresh air to breathe.

And so she climbed the hill. Thankfully, her dragon strength made her not tired at all as she pulled her wheeled suitcase, so she could enjoy the gorgeous view and the fresh breeze straight from the ocean. The heat was also merely warm for her, even though she wore an elaborate dress. Without her fire resistance, she would have sweated like a pig underneath that clothing of hers.

Her walk, however, wasn't entirely alone, as there were others who chose the same route as she did. And most of them were panting and sweating as they walked uphill.

She felt a litle pity for them. To be born not as a dragon.

"So, this is the place..." Lily said as she stood in front of the school gates. It was just as luxurious as she was told. Her parents had indeed sent her to the best school you can have in the entire nation.

She then saw a bunch of people wearing what seemed to be similar clothing. She had heard of this before. They were called school uniforms. The school itself no longer required its students to wear one, but some still chose to wear them nonetheless.

And she could understand why. She thought the outfit looked quite interesting. Perhaps she would purchase one just to wear in a whim.

She first headed to her designated room in the dormitories. Once again, she was impressed with how lavish everything was. The dormitories looked more like a five-star hotel instead of a school dormitory. The room she received was wide and spacey, it was more like a house than a room, seeing how she got a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom complete with a wide bathtub, and even a balcony since her room was located on the upper floors. She put her suitcase inside and then immediately headed to the auditorium.

When she arrived in the auditorium, it was already mostly filled with the new students. She saw some snacks being provided in the standing tables. However, she was not particularly hungry so she ignored them. She took her seat in the back, sitting calmly as she waited for the event to begin. Luckily, it began right away or else she might have gotten bored. And her dragon nature would just make her leave the room without giving a care that she might have just broke a school regulation.

As the lights dimmed, a girl walked onto the podium in front of the room. Her face looked confident as she radiated her bright smile to the entire room. However, that confidence was soon ruined with her fiddling around her pockets and with the paper she took from them. Perhaps there was an unexpected mishap, Lily thought.

After her short speech, clearly improvised on the spot, Lily rose up. She thought she would walk around for a while in this party. If nothing interested her, she would just leave and walk around the school instead.

Man, I think I'll make my char wear a school uniform later on. I forget this was in Japan.

And looking at the other chars, maybe my char is too tall for her age after all.
Leila's face turned into a frown at the demon woman's attitude. She was clearly irked by how arrogant she was. She did not respond to her taunt. Instead, she sent her sword away, though she still eyed the demon with a gaze that might just drill through the skull of an ordinary person. She reasoned that the demon seemed to come in peace for the moment, but you could never trust a demon. So even though she had summoned her sword away, she still would be ready to summon it in a split second if the demon decided to suddenly turn hostile. She was quite proud of her quick draw, having already caught many opponents off guard with her suddenly pressing her sword on their throat even though she was unarmed just a second ago. She thought this would also make the demon lower her guard, even if just for a little.
I think I'm gonna post now...and yes, Leila's plan is indeed not quite foolproof

I also like how she questioned Feon for mentioning speaking to the demon lord while Vreskrr is a literal demon not even attempting to hide it.

Oh shit, I forgot that she already made an appearance. Editing my post now.
At the mention of money, Maria checked around her clothes just to see if she had any money on her. And sure enough, she found a couple of gold coins hidden inside a little pocket on her red dress.

"Here, I have some," Maria said as she showed the coins resting on her palm. "Maybe you guys have some too. If they were fair, they would give us all the same amount of money," she surmised.

The little elf girl then interrupted their conversation. Maria couldn't help to think how cute and adorable she was, the way she bossed around everyone with her opinion.

And then she suddenly shouted when she finished her speech. She seemed really distraught about her new body. She herself wouldn't mind being inside an adorable body like that. Perhaps she was some woman bodybuilder in her previous life?

"I suppose we can check out the shops first," Maria answered the elf girl, "And maybe buy some things that catch our eyes. Lead the way then, little elf girl," she said with a smile.
"I see..." Leila answered, sounding a little dejected.

Their conversation was cut short with a lizard man suddenly leaping down from the roof, taking down a couple of zombies with his attack. Then, he loudly called for anyone who was there hiding to come out.

Leila never thought of that possibility. Her mind was entirely focused on the destruction of the village that she neglected the possibility that others might come to check out things too.

The rumor? She had known about it before she came here. It was yet another reason why she went here, though she had already fully expected the possibility that it was just a hoax, or even worse, a trap.

So this woman was responsible for the rumor, huh? She just wanted to gather strong people to bring down the Hero.

If it came to that, then she would be ready to fight.

...Wait, did she hear that right? Did she say the name of the Demon Lord, Remus? She said she could communicate with him.

Fishy. That was definitely fishy.

"Hey, what do you mean that you can communicate with Remus? Isn't he dead already? Are you one of his minions?" Leila said with a raised voice, her hand readied at her blade.

Her alarm bells rang even harder when a literal demon suddenly came out of nowhere and walked towards them. She just ignored her as she addressed the lizard man.

And then another person showed up. Thankfully, he seemed to be human from what she could tell. He walked towards the brawler and introduced himself.

"Careful! This girl apparently had some connections to the demon lord!" she warned him.

Now she had no idea what to do. Should she strike right away at the demoness? She didn't look to be hostile, and she herself wasn't sure that she could take her on. And then there was still the matter of the suspicious brawler.

Could it be that she just stumbled upon a gathering for the remains of the demon lord's army?

She shook her head. She had to stay calm in a situation like this. She concluded she would adopt the wait and see approach for now. With her blade's grip still in her hand, she waited for the brawler's explanation.
