Current Just ran a stale yellow. Nobody on this website is doing it like me, sticking it to the man like me, blazing a trail against tyranny like me. the only thing revolutionary about you is your rhetoric

Takeru Segawa is the type of man they made myths out of. Intensely privileged to be able to say I watched him burn so bright as he did before going out with a win. I’ll miss you, hero.

Given that it was Gaia I'm fairly sure the world's better off without them trying to get kinky

Nah you should definitely check it out. It's your typical, "unforgiving, but you almost always recognize the issue's on you rather than the mechanics" type deal.

I love Souls far more than someone as incompetent at video games as me should, but the FROM MAKES SUPER DIFFICULT HARDCORE RPGS thing has been overblown roughly since about when PTDE dropped on PC.
^I publicly apologize for being the patient zero of the OOC plague these guys are xD Srsly get a chatroom xD

Who the fuck are you
Luke Schwarz-- Under Scrutiny

If I blink first, does that mean I lose?

Luke tried it out, blinking candidly. No response of any kind from Gratia. Just continuation of the stare straight into his soul.

This girl was intense!

"Oh, I see." he replied, seat slightly rocking as the airship touched down at the city below. "You miss home, then?"

Because he had to admit it, he kind of did himself, despite definitely not missing getting woken up by two little sisters (one of which that was taller than him by some sick twist of fate). Although he had his teammates to confide in and get to know, there still was that strange emptiness that extended time away from family, from his routine, from what he'd known for ages, brought. It was only natural, he knew as much from anecdotes by both parents about when they were his age.

As the others began to file past them and off the airship, he rose, a touch miffed at the unfortunate timing of everything. Despite feeling as though he were playing a verbal game of minesweeper, he did genuinely have some interest in picking the quiet young woman's head.

Maybe they'd have a class together, or something.
I have so much fluff ready but it's gotta be coherent
Luke Schwarz--Navigating a Minefield

Okay, that was actually pretty neutral-sounding-- why was she glancing up for a moment there? Is there something in my hair?

Disguising his check-up on his hairdo as a casual brush (which, of course, did nothing to resolve the staunchly erect cowlick that defiantly stayed in place), he then nodded, interest piqued.

Haven, huh?

I hear it's nice over there.

Great food.

"I see. Why'd you decide to come over here, then? Any particular reason?"

Assumedly there was. He didn't know about most Hunters, but to him, he figured it was a lot like transferring to a different college or university.

In other words, a pretty big deal.

Making eye contact for the first time, he found a steely, cold gaze leveled upon him, and maybe he was just going crazy, but it felt almost not only upon, but through him. Off-putting stuff for most, and it was safe to say that Luke hadn't quite escaped that realm himself.

A shame. She's actually kinda pretty...

Probably would be if she smiled.

Maybe she's a Kuudere?

Thankfully, he was good enough in his own right at keeping those inner thoughts from being betrayed by his expression in times like these.

...What would that last sequence even look like, anyway?

Nothing he needed to worry about, is what.

Ooooooh boy I better get to work
Luke Schwarz--International Relations

"That's a Mistralese accent, right? What brought you here to Beacon?" he asked, managing to stand his ground against the growingly clear annoyance from her, evident close in tone than in outward appearance.

To her credit, roughly a year ago he might not have noticed at all. Stupid kid back then, you see, but summer break changed him as a man immeasurably.

Nationality and prying into her.

Tricky combination.

I'd better pick my words carefully...

No truer words had ever been thought, whether he knew to what extent or not. It was safe to say that, with almost anyone, this was at least willingly getting near thin ice, if not willfully stepping on.

He frowned mentally, outward expression remaining mildly curious and unassuming. Was this really just casual conversation if he had to calculate his moves so thoroughly? Wasn't the whole point of mindless talk exactly that? It being mindless?

What have you walked yourself into, Schwarz...
