Current Just ran a stale yellow. Nobody on this website is doing it like me, sticking it to the man like me, blazing a trail against tyranny like me. the only thing revolutionary about you is your rhetoric

Takeru Segawa is the type of man they made myths out of. Intensely privileged to be able to say I watched him burn so bright as he did before going out with a win. I’ll miss you, hero.

Luke Schwarz -- Subject of Interrogratian

"I've noticed people tell me it happens a lot, but I've never seen it myself." he fired back, intimidated but not deterred. "In fact, the first time I heard about it, I stared at myself in the mirror for nearly two hours to see if it'd do anything."

And as it happened, two boring hours passed. Without the odd outstanding emotional stimulus nor Shinbou-inspired writing (okay, imagery) direction to produce a reaction, it simply lead to one very bored Schwarz son milling about his room before collapsing onto his bed for a mid-afternoon nap. Really, the only potential evidence he'd found towards the theory was one very, very brief instance where he thought his mom's might have done so, but even then he was mostly sure he was just seeing things then.

Even in spite of the accusations that the same was happening with him.

...Maybe.

Maybe it does move.

Maybe there's a chance.

A small chance.

"I haven't seen it happen with either of my sisters, either. Are you sure the thing being there in the first place isn't just messing with you? It is pretty distinct."

Whatever the case was, he was as stumped as to why as she was. After all, how could he not be? He'd spent so much more time denying its existence than actually considering the possibility, so why would he even begin to know? He was only human, he didn't hold the secrets of the universe in the palm of his hand! For Pete's sake, he still had twelve years to burn before reaching wizardry!

It wasn't a foregone conclusion!

"You probably just saw it in the wind. It was pretty breezy on the landing pad, remember?" he suggested diplomatically.

Luke Schwarz -- Repeat Offender

He blinked once. Twice. Very closely considered a third, in the completeness of his flummoxation. Caught in the cognitive dissonance between the complete nonsensicality of what she said and the complete seriousness of how she said it, something upstairs short-circuited. In fairness, however, this was both a natural reaction and one that to his credit, he was growing increasingly adept at suppressing.

As one who knows him might be able to guess, this was not the first time he'd heard weird things being discussed with utmost severity. In truth, it was almost just as much him being the subject that threw him off as it was the general oddness of the question.

"Er... Run that by me one more time?" he asked politely, wishing for little more than confirmation as to the subject at hand. "You're asking me about my hair?"

He'd heard brief mention of it moving in the past, but after two hours of staring straight into a mirror, he'd seen no sign of motion out of the ordinary when he tested it for himself. Having written further accusations off as people just not being familiar with natural ahoges and the physics they abided by, it was still nonetheless strange how every so often somebody'd ask him about it.

What's with my family and these things, anyway?

Unable to comprehend his affliction of stylistic choices by a higher being's shameless theft of an established work, Luke's gray peepers found themselves staring back into Gratia's frigid pools of onyx.
you better turn yourself around

Location: Just Dally up the damages and we'll work on the repair
Interacting with: Elize Vanzant, others assembled at the bar

Eyes are extra blue today, apparently.

Huh.

I wonder how girls do that...

"Yeah..." he agreed with a touch of costernation. "Tara or I should've really stepped in and broken that up. I mean, in my defense I thought I was about to break her and the kid up, but..."

He shrugged and gave her a bemused "it can't be helped" type of grin. Circumstances played against him, especially when you took into consideration that it had happened and was over in essentially a flash. Even if he had bolted over there, with the crowd's assemblage around the mess, the poor Son of War would likely have only caught the tail end of things. Maybe shooed Stella McGuire away a half-second earlier than she'd left herself.

"I mean, today's move-in day. Does he even know her that well? Didn't seem like it to me..." he postulated, leaning against the bar and folding his arms with a frown. "I get that she's a daughter of Aphrodite and really pretty and all, but going that crazy on Day 1 is..." His eyes traced lines upward to the ceiling in flummoxed contemplation. Even back in middle school, he didn't know people to go ballistic like that after knowing somebody for a day, assumed relationship or otherwise.

Shit, not even Tara was that unreasonably explosive.

Well, not that she'd ever shown interest in any form of relationship besides "Sibling Rivalry: Let Me Punch You in the Face Already Edition" that he'd seen...

She really could use the power of friendship.

Seriously though, I gotta work on her.

"Seems kinda desperate," he concluded. "if you're that clingy in the span of, I dunno, 12 hours. I've never managed to get a girlfriend and I'm pretty sure I'm not that bad, y'know?" He glanced back over to Elize, eyeing the glass of wine in her hand for a moment. Dal always did take pride in having good taste in alcohol, didn't he? Presumably, even the stuff he'd laid out for the rabble partygoers was up to snuff.

Could one hurt?

It's been a while... I'm a big guy, I can hold just a glass.

...Maybe once things died down.

"Kinda strange, honestly. You'd think the SON OF ZEUS, BROTHER OF THE QUEEN BEE BELOVED BY ALL, LIKELY HEIR APPARENT TO THE THRONE OF OLYMPUS ACADEMY wouldn't take it so hard as to try and chokeslam the other dude through Dallas's bar." he continued, voice taking a gruff ring announcer's edge and volume as he listed the lad's assumed accolades.

Cutting off his monologue, he glanced back at Dallas and company (who weren't but six feet to his left the whole time), only to find a new face amongst them.

Magic tricks?

Cool. Wonder if we can figure out how he does 'em.
