I've got a bit of a tight spot with my scheduling, as I have an important interview tomorrow and will be out of town for the next week, but I should hopefully be able to write something during the week, if not, feel free to move on without me and I'll write myself in when I return.

@Heathen What do you call a bunch of glass shards? Apart from a dangerous mess. I mean, when they're all together being controlled by some guy doing... whatever he's doing with them. Is it a swarm? Cluster? Sharpness? Kaleidoscope?

Yep, and his evil counterpart from a different universe came to the main one because "He had killed everything in his." His evil counterpart had all of their aiblities, so Gambit had to get his back.

That includes Hulk, Galactus, Beyonder, etc, etc.

Mm, yeah. It's actually based on an idea I had for a character, like... 5 years ago. Wow. But yeah, it definitely has more extended application, but it can also be suuuuper-OP down the road.

But if the first antagonist has speed, might as well go something different.

Oh yeah - I firmly believe say, Gambit of the X-men could beat both Hulk and Superman by just turning their kinetic energy against them.

Okay, bruh, I know you already got a 'roo's pouch-full of interest, but you know I can't ignore a good ol' superpowered romp. I also like how people are building characters and abilities with development in mind, which brings me to the question: kinetic energy shit, or super-speed?

Speed feels a lot less OP, but kinetic manipulation has a lot more obvious room for growth. Shit.

That said, I'm personally quite a fan of kinetic energy manipulation. It's a fun lil power.

The Vigilante (rocketrobie2 and Hillan)

Ted chuckled. "The vindictive type, huh? Figures." Flicking the half-lit cigarette onto the wet sidewalk. He followed Scott silently, a thousand thoughts running through his head. Would they do training? Would he get taught all of the skills The Vigilante needed? Or was Scott just gonna use him to find someone more suitable for the role - someone more like Scott? Ted's train of thought was broken by his phone beeping in his pocket. It was from his father, saying his mother had been sent to the hospital again. A pit came into his stomach - he was about to excuse himself and take a raincheck with Mr.Nexton, but he knew that if he did, he'd blow his only chance at every finding out the truth.

And he needed the Vigilante. He needed The Vigilante to save his mom.

He got in on the other side of the car, nodding at the driver. "You all right there?" He asked the driver whom nodded. "And you?" Looking towards Ted's side. The young man grinned "'Tis but a flesh wound."
