Laid back, charming and honest. Johnny is one to speak his mind and is always genuine and sincere. While impulsive and a bit hotheaded, Johnny has great self-control and is more than capable to quell these impulses, stopping himself from speaking out of term, or acting inappropriately. He has a deep respect for the way of the law, and he believes in a greater good - one you don't always see, or understand. As a soldier and Marine, he believes that the greatest Military operations are the ones nobody ever hears about. He didn't become a Marine to be a hero, he didn't do it for recognition, but he chose to live a life of Justice to make real change in the world.

History:

Born in the West Blue, his father a pirate of notoriety, his mother a barmaid. His father never knew he existed, yet, the kid grew up strong. A trouble maker by the age of six, picking fights with other kids and taking to crime by the age of nine, robbing a store in his home village with a knife. He was put in the custody of the Marines, whom appreciated the kids spirit, shipping him to HQ so he could go on to serve the greater good. During physical trials in his pre-teens, he showed off the charts strength and skill, getting assigned to the Cipher Pol unit, where he would be training for the next 5 years, seeing his first operation at 17 years old. An extraction that went sideways in the North Blue, yet, the kid handled himself fine. What he got to show for it was a new power - a powerful Logia, the ability of turning one's self into smoke. His training continued, combinating his new power with his old training regime, regularly sending him out on missions, his new powers making him an excellent infiltrator. To steal secrets, or to terminate enemies of the World Government.

Now, he's been assigned to the East Blue, with a mission to keep an eye out for a new wave of pirates, that the higher ups have predicted will be the second coming of the Worst Generation, sending out Cipher Pol Agents to observe, and if necessary, take out any possible threats to their interests.

While his real history is redacted, even the name he was given at birth has been covered up, the official story for Johnny however, is that he was born to a merchant and a merchant's wife in the East Blue. Raised to be a honest and upstanding young man, he enlisted in the Navy at 12, becoming a Chore boy and at 16 taking his Seaman exam, becoming an official soldier in the Navy. His military career since then has been successful, but nothing spectacular. Making Ensign at 21 is something to be proud off, but still not something that makes you into a hero - or makes it worth that you'd go down in the history books.

When his mettle has been tested, Johnny has more than proved himself in combat.

Fruit:

Smoke - Smoke Fruit.

Fighting style:

Seemingly averagely skilled with a cutlass and a rifle - like most Marines. He uses his Logia power clumsily, not near to it's fullest potential, only able to defeat most foes due to the properties of his fruit. This is to be perceived as less of a threat, while he's actually a well trained killer and has spent countless hours harnessing his fruit, albeit, no where near the levels of it's former user.
His training in Rokushiki is kept secret, and he will refrain from using it as best as he possible can, relying on his devil fruit over his martial art skills.

Abilities:

Rokushiki; Having mastered Soru and Rankyaku, and being adept at the other forms of the Rokushiki, lacking any real training in Shigan, currently. He's a dangerous fighter and a force to be reckoned with.
Rigorous training; One does not get to be a Cipher Pol agent without getting put through hell. He's been pushed to his limit time and time again, thus hardening his body and spirit to a neigh-unbreakable blade.
Cooking; A skilled cook, and a surprisingly good singer when it comes to old nursing songs.

Appearance:

Sancho is a decently attractive young man, standing at average height and with an athlethic build. He's got blonde hair with icy white tips that are all natural, his hair is long and spikey, usually tied into a ponytail. He dresses well, in expensive and high-quality fabrics, his style something of a cross between a nobleman and a bandit. Notably, he wears a blue armband on his left arm.

Personality:

Intelligent, authoritarian. He believes in the power of a chain of command, and the irony of believing in laws and rules, but choosing to be a criminal is not lost on him. He's a very driven young man, putting his all into everything he does, such he's prone to success. He's not afraid to fight, but he prefers to avoid fighting if at all possible. A bit of a diplomat and businessman, showing up how he was raised, yet also an excellent soldier, warrior and commander.

Home Island/Sea:

Shira Kingdom, Grandline.

History:

Grew up rich in the Shinra Kingdom, his father an adviser to the King, his father and the king were long time best friends. He got a younger sister when he was 3 years old, Nora. Nora and him were thick as thieves, looking out for each other. He was the brains, she was the passion. She wanted them to see the world, to adventure. Sancho wanted to become a businessman, someone of influence.

Nora ended up joining the military, but Sancho couldn't let her do that on her own, he had to protect her, so he too joined. The two showed certain skill, and was put in the care of the High General, Granticus The Fourth, thanks to their father's connections. Sancho and Nora always had this discussion that Sancho felt like he was meant to do more than to serve in an army. He was meant to be special. Which is why, when they were 17 and 14, respectively, Nora gave Sancho a gift. It was a fruit.

Sancho ate it, knowing that it would give him special powers. It did, since then he became one of the most successful soldiers in the entire kingdom, quickly climbing the ranks, and taking his sister with them. They were dispatched out of the country, to make deals with the neighboring islands.

During this, they were caught in a storm, and their ship capsized. Sancho washed up on a nearby shore, spending half a year looking for his sister, to no avail. Returning home, he took up a position as a military commander in the Shinra army. Deciding to carry on Nora's adventurous spirit. Home again, after a trip to the North Blue as a diplomatic escort, Sancho walked into the royal chamber, only to find the king murdered, and soldiers coming for him.

He was framed, a wanted man and forced to be a criminal. He fled to the North Blue, watching as his home fell into chaos, his father getting put in prison and executed for a crime Sancho was accused of committing. He decided to take the criminal underworld for himself, and make it something better than it had been. Fleeing to North Blue, is where he set up his start as a pirate, honing his martial skills further.

Unknown to him, his home is in the middle of a civil war for the throne, the country greatly destabilized.

Fruit:

Sancho is a wool-y human, with the power of generating large amounts of wool in a very short span of time. He can shape and control the wool in whatever way he want, going as far as to affect the atomic properties of the wool, increasing it's density or other properties.

Fighting style:

Being trained by the High General of the Shira Kingdom, Granticus IV, a man who commanded respect from even people such as the high-ranking Marine officers that passed through the Island. Granticus was a swordsman and hand-to-hand combatant, using his physical strength to dismantle his foes with great ferocity. Sancho does not share that amount of brute force, relying on momentum and agility to deliver powerful blows. His fighting style revolves around dodging, blocking and demolishing his foes with an attack, weather it's drawing a dagger and stabbing someone with it, or if it's slinging himself across town on a Wool-Line, gaining enough momentum to destroy his foe. If forced to hand-to-hand, he's a decent fighter, grappling and kicking are his fortes.

Abilities:

Excellent navigator and survivalist, two traits very common in the Shinra army. Skilled with knuckle dusters to let him inflict even more damage with his hits. Since his fighting style relies on momentum, he's fast but equally as physically strong, capable of arm wrestle men twice his size.

Latent Conquerors Haki: Not yet revealed, but he holds the will of Kings within him.

Basic Training in Armament Haki, at the hands of the Fishwoman Samehana

Ship Positions:

Captain of the Golden Fleece Pirates. Sancho's dream with being a pirate is to become the king, not for personal wealth or recognition, but to be put in a position where he can command as many powerful warriors as possible, so he can create a new institution, one free from corruption. A form of law enforcement better than the Marines, to bring peace to the world.

Finding his sister is also pretty high on the priority list.
