Hey Hylian, I have a question or two about the electrokinesis power before I continue Heather's power development. I was looking more into the power, namely the super power wiki, and I was wondering if any of these abilities are off the table for this rp. I don't want to accidentally god mod. haha http://superpowers.wikia.com/wiki/Electrokinesis

Alright! (There's something about being on a computer that lets me be more productive than when on my phone. Just more organized I guess.) So, with this, I'd like you to use your best judgement. These students have had their powers for merely a month, that's about 4 weeks, 28 days roughly. Would Heather have the handle on her powers to do what you're about to do with her? I have no real problems with any of the applications listed there so long as Heather would be able to perform them. As she's only had her powers for a month, creating lightning constructs would be a bit out there for someone so green but charging electrical appliances or absorbing electricity can be more on her level. I'll leave it up to you and if I see a problem, I'll more than likely PM you to sort of talk it through with one another. I don't want to be the all-powerful being here, I want use to work together. But at the same time, I will have the last word. So... ye... @DP Ye. Emily is totes the girl from Arrow... Damnit, what's her name? Felicity! I totally didn't just look that up on IMDb... So ye... I think everyone has a potentially useful power in their own right when used in an effective manner. Granted, Penelope's skill isn't like... catastrophic but she could be terribly hard to pin down or capture. She could also, potentially, be able to form her hand or such into an object like a key. Granted, this would take quite a bit of training and experience, but it's a potential. She would also be very hard to predict in combat as the nature of her ability leans itself towards unpredictability. So... any power can be useful. Emily could play mind-games with her foe. Like, bribery or blackmail. And in instances where machines are involved, she could stop a big machine from crushing the lot of us. Penelope can really only get herself out, but Emily can stop the damn thing from destroy everyone in it. So, it just depends. .-. -waddles around like a penguin-
So far, the most combat effective powers I see belong to Heather, Orion, Ray and Darrien. Of course, it goes without saying that everyone at this point won't lose to normal people, but I think these four are the most useful in a fight (This is considering their abilities ONLY)
Notice how they are evenly split up? Sometimes, I do smart things. Sometimes. Also, I'm on my phone so replying to multiple things is hard, but I'll try. @Madame, I'll look over that after this class and make a post about it. Till, then I gtg.

Shhhhiiii- The young pixie stared blankly at the principal, her heart fluttering and her palms breaking out into a sweat. The scream, the earth shattering scream. Her world turned a sort of grey scale tone as the noises around her began to get softer, as if she was going underwater. She hadn't signed up for this. Where were her brothers? What was going on? Just moments ago she'd said goodbye to them as they walked off with their friends. The damn bastards, leaving her alone. And this was what it came to! She fought the urge to pull out her deck of cards, knowing full well it probably wouldn't do any good at the point. The odds of her getting anything useful were low. For now, she simply sat, trembling in fear, wondering what would happen next.

He blinked for a moment, trying to comprehend what had just happened. He felt the people around him, saw them through the vibrations in the floor. They appeared as outlines in his mind, some of them hunched over, some of the probably crying, others revisiting their lunch from that afternoon. Azax, himself, had to swallow his spit in order to keep himself in check. His heart was pounding and his skin raised up on end, elvish ear picking up ever nuance of the banshee's cry. It had almost deafened him for a while, the low murmur of the students around him which in all likeliness were probably more along the lines of screams of terror, only adding to the Banshee's wild screech. Azax, shifted in his seat slightly, trying his best to see through the other vibrations and pick up on the thing that had created the noise, but he was having a very hard time of it. It was hard enough trying to focus on the people around him with the damage the scream had done to his ears. He had to rely on his feet to feel the vibrations, his ears were of almost no help.
-spins and strikes a very dramatic pose- INTRIGUE! :D Also, I'm unsure as to where you're going with this so when I go to make my post, I'll do my best. But if there's something you'd rather me do instead, I.E. you'd rather go with a different direction, feel free to tell me. -cough-
Sorry guys, but I am going to have to drop out of this one. The IC has picked up a little too much steam and my workload has jumped exponentially.
Alright. Sad to see you go! Good luck with that work load. (:
"Bahh!" Carina spat out, shaking her head. "CC was just the name of the dumb dog Kaln stole the collar from. he thought it was cute because it had the first letter of my wolf name." She explained, her voice snobby. She glared over at Morgan, deciding whether to lie or tell her her real name... "I'm Carina." She spoke matter-of-factly, having given up on privacy at this point. She ran a hand through her hair and stared at Morgan for a moment. "I'm not sure whether to take your fascination as an insult or a compliment. I guess I'll take it as both." She told her, huffing slightly. "Anyway, I suppose you have a lot of questions. Ask away. Though, I can't say I'll answer all of them truthfully." She explained, pulling a strand of dark red hair behind her ear. Carina had lost her human name when she was bitten. That was the thing... She had no home to return to because she didn't remember it. Her name, anything. When she woke up, all she had was a name that had been given to her. By who? She didn't know... She guessed now that it was probably the wolf spirit, Chanteloup, that Kaln always spoke of. It was sort of this guiding spirit they all had. Song of the Wolf. It gave each of them a name when they either changed or were born... She had to laugh at her own name. It held no meaning, just a bunch of jumbled up words. At least Kaln's name meant leader. The elders of his pack had no idea what Carina had meant. Even after asking the spirits.
There are quite a bit of things to consider for Nick's power. I can see where he could use it as a form of very shallow copy-cat powers. As in, he can't learn EVERYTHING about boxing from watching Ray. But he CAN learn some of Ray's moves. He can't just produce a boxing technique out of thin air from watching a boxer use a completely different move. Basically, if Ray uses a certain style of punching. Nick can instant learn what he just saw and use it with perfection. But he can only instant learn what he can see. He can't instant learn another style of punching if he has never seen it before. One boxing move does not equate all of boxing. Get what I'm saying? And yes, it includes muscle memories, and yes it requires that the muscles required are present. Nick can learn how to lift a car, doesn't mean his muscles will be able to handle it. It's not a true copy-cat skill. It's instant intelligence. Does that sound about right? It's how it worked in my mind, anyway.
Penelope stayed quiet as the others fought and Rohrbach explained everything. Her eyes flitted down to the tablet with the news report on the Pattersons. She stood slowly, now ignoring the going-ons around her. They wanted to ignore her, she could do the same. Sitting down at the table with the tablet, she eyed both cases with a careful glance, weighing her options. The first case sort of pissed her off. The way they looked, what they did. To be fair, both cases pissed her off. But... The way that guy looked. The terrorist didn't piss her off quite as much as the Patterson guy. The terrorist could probably be handled rather easily with a few blows to the head. The Patterson case seemed like more of a challenge, and just the thing Penelope needed to let off some steam. Throw a few rubber punches, trip some bitches, choke a bastard out. It was more fun for her. If that made her a bad person, she'd just have to live with it. When Heather spoke up about the matter at hand, she raised her head. "I vote my group goes with these Patterson creeps. There are more of us in your group to fight the multitude of them. But... You don't have to listen to little ole me. After all, I'm just a little girl, yanno?" She spoke, sarcasm evident in her voice near the end. "Besides, something about how this Patterson dude looks pisses me off." She told them, holding up the picture for them to see. He was an older man with several scars and a rather nasty look on his face; the kind of guy that kills puppies without a second glance if it means more profit for him. "What do you guys think?" She asked the others, once again ignoring the fight going on.
Bah... Carina let out a huff as the woman explained what she knew. Well, there was certainly no hiding now... However, something the woman said struck a chord with Carina and she quickly shifted, ignoring her nudity and glared at the woman. Ruddy fur turned into pale white skin, and dark red hair grew from the top of the wolf's head very rapidly. Before Morgan knew it, an adult female(human) was sitting before her completely nude. "Wolf or human, I am me. You have already met the real me. NEVER say that the wolf part of me is not the real me because it is." She barked, metaphorically speaking, dark blue eyes shooting bullets through the woman's skull. Huffing, she got up from her position on the floor and meandered over to a near by recliner, sitting down with her legs crossed. "Okay... So... You figured it out. You can't possibly blame me for trying. It's not like I meant for you to see that, whatever you saw." She explained in a matter-of-fact way, her nose turned up at the woman. Her face suddenly fell as she turned back to the woman, "And I definitely don't bite humans." She narrowed her eyes for a moment before turning away again. I would never become like HIM. Biting humans, turning them into... THIS. It would take a lot for Carina to admit to being a monster, and it would take even more to convince her she wasn't one. "Anyway..." Carina began, her eyes scanning the room absentmindedly, "Now that I can talk freely, tell me your name. I can't keep calling you 'the woman' forever."
I made the genders even was all I did really. I didn't put much thought into the dynamic of the group. At least, not a whole lot. If we want to try and change groups, that's fine. But this way, I think it's fair? I dunno. As far as which group wants to take what, I think it's fine if we Time Skip to when the groups have decided which they'd rather take. OR, we can decide here and then sort of act it out in the IC. Penelope would probably push for the Bank Robbers since there are more people in her group, it would be easier for her group to take on the family of four. Alternatively, we could hold a vote. {Group #}[Name](Case) I.E. {Group Two}[Penelope](Patterson) What do you guys think?
