Sea Serpent

It stared at those on the ship as they came onto the deck. He couldn't have asked for a better meal. With a large splash, the creature dove into the water. As it did, it revealed it's tail which held a large purple crystal, tied tightly to the creatures thin tail with painful latches. It dove below the boat and slide under the boat, rocking it a bit, attempting to cause some of the crew to fall. When none of them splashed into the water, it huffed, releasing a few bubbles up to the surface.

Just a few miles out, another smaller creature leapt through the water, making their way for the boat. Those on deck with good enough hearing could almost make out what it was... saying.

"..it...ta....st.....do....ki.....ki!"

Jonathan

The door slammed before him. Mate... a chicken? What in the world kind of insult was that? Did she not like chickens very much? But just as soon as the door had closed, it slowly opened.

"...alright. Get in. Don't drag me in your useless family crossfire.", she told him. "It's either you get a consultation, you get to be my apprentice, you do what you promise to say, or you get out. Nothing else."

Jonathan silently nodded and followed her inside the house, spinning around as he took it all in. "What a lovely home you have. It's certainly very... large. I don't think even Marcus has a home this large. Though, seeing it might prompt him to make one post haste." Jonathan explained, chuckling to himself. He didn't really hate his brother but...

Jonathan sighed and looked over at Artav with an awkward smile. "Alright, what do you need me to do?" When would the day come when Jonathan wasn't taking order? When he could just be Jonathan. Out of his siblings he was the one that hates his powers and just wanted to be normal...
I'll post again as Ara when I feel like sifting through posts again. Oh and, @darkwolf687 if I did something with Kzaar you didn't like, let me know. I'll edit it and rewrite it as needed.

Zakroti - Sister-bride to Miry

She'd followed silently, staring at the floor as they walked. Her gaze shifted as they entered the banquet hall and she looked around the room, a bored expression on her face, her gaze stone cold. She followed Zakroti without much fuss and sat a few seats away from him at the table, shifting in her seat a bit.

She listened idly as Zakroti spoke to someone named Jorug and looked up at him when she heard the fits of coughing. That wasn't a normal cough, she could feel it in the vibrations from the floor. A smug look crossed her face as she watched him hobble out of the hall. Good riddance. One less asshole to worry about. She should have felt bad about her thoughts but she considered herself a dead woman walking and at this point, what did it matter what she did with her life? Her mother would never yell at her again. Never...

Her eyes shot up when she heard Miry's choked words, defending herself. She glared at the man speaking with her, the usual firey bullets. After all, everyone knew deep down the earth had a molten core. As did Ama. Her powers might be relatively cool compared to fire elementals but that wouldn't stop the fire in her soul from sparking from time to time. Ama was prepared to shoot up and take the glass herself to drink it but Miry beat her to the punch. Ama sighed and let herself relax back against her seat.

She watched with mild amusement as Zakroti disciplined his men. She had to admit, the strength of him sent shivers down her spine. But it wasn't really fear, so much as envy. If only she could have half of that strength, she wouldn't be in this situation.

She was pulled from this, however, as another Drakken entered the hall, proclaiming something about seeing a goat do a backflip. She raised a brow at the comical scene before her. A snort escaped her lips as the first smile since she'd come to this place graced her face.

It disappeared as soon as it had come however as she heard another Drakken speak to the entire room. As he spoke the words, the world around her began to spin, slowly so... irritatingly slowly. She swallowed and blinked a few times trying to force the feeling to go away but it wouldn't. She could feel her face getting hot and her stomach churning.

Then... revelation. Her mouth sat agape as the idea crossed her mind. If... they no longer had the protection of the Drakken, they had no reason to be peaceful. A small smirk grew on Ama's lips as her eyes narrowed at the Drakken who finished making the announcement. She could feel the life returning to her soul, her will to live returned. She'd make it through this. She was the weed that grew on rocks and sand, no matter the earth below her, she would survive.

New of the war probably saved her life. Or sentenced her to death. Either way, she now had no intentions of taking it laying down. Calmly, Ama picked up a piece of fruit from the table and placed in between her lips, biting into the grape with her teeth.

Her attention returned to the two beside her as she turned her head, a grape held between her lips as she lazily sucked it into her mouth. She watched Miry race towards another Gemm who from the looks of it might have been her sister. She couldn't make out what the girl Miry called Asta had said but from what she'd heard, Asta wasn't well liked. A smirk grew on her face. Maybe sometime tonight she should find a way to talk to that girl.

She turned back from watching Asta to looking at Zakroti who was busy writing... letters? She raised a brow honestly confused at the suddenness of the act. Why now of all times? She shrugged. Either way.

She began to raise herself from her seat when she heard Zakroti give the command for his guard to find her. Her eye twitched in irritation. That was literally the worst timing and... she was right there the entire time. Talk about a wallflower.

No, I'm not too pleased to get away from this. I want to talk to that Gemm, Asta.

She sighed and walked over towards the guard who walked in the opposite direction. Her face protrayed her disbelief at how blind this man truly was. She was literally two or three seats away. She rolled her eyes and silently followed him around the room. Soon enough, he did a 360 and she nearly walked into him.

"Ah, Kzaar! I've been following you for the past few minutes. I'm not that short, am I?" She asked raising a brow at the man. Obviously, from the last event, he wasn't willing to deal with her and simply grunted and grabbed her arm to pull her along towards the room. She sighed and rolled her eyes. She was almost prepared for this. "I'll follow you myself, Kzaar. No need to pull me along." She told him, the sound of her voice slightly... sour as her eye stared daggers into the back of the Drakken guard pulling her along.

When he didn't respond, she decided to take matters into her own hands and stomped her foot into the ground, using her powers to use the earth to power her stomp. The force of this 'stop' gave her enough power to pull her hand from the man's grip, pulling her thumb out of it's socket in the process. The only visible hint to her pain was the slightly twitch in her eye as she calmly walked on.

"I told you, I would follow you, fool. Don't grab me so freely." She commanded him, glaring at him. She could see the anger in his eyes and she had to commend his strength of will as he seemed to be trying very hard to keep his hands from slapping the shit out of her. However, maybe she'd given him too much credit. It was almost as if slow motion as his hand raised up towards her face. It sucked... her mind could see it coming and kept trying to tell her feet to kick up a rock to knock his hand from its current path but by the time she'd even raised her foot to kick, it made contact. She saw the world go black for a few seconds. She could sense she was falling and even sense her head hitting the ground, but she couldn't feel any of the pain. When she did actually come to fully, she was draped over the shoulder of Kzaar with a splitting headache.

She let out a small sigh, frustrated and sat on the Drakken's shoulders. At least she'd gotten a piggy back ride out of this. And a dislocated thumb... and a swollen cheek. If she could shrug without him knowing she was awake, she would have. At least he wasn't hurting her anymore. The fun part of all of this would be showing these fools just how hardy she could be. She'd dealt with worse than this at home, surprisingly. She'd walked home in the woods by herself with a broken arm and three broken ribs. If she hadn't she have never made it home. She'd laughed as their father nursed her back to health and their mother beat the living tar out of her brothers for leaving her alone in the woods. How old was she back then? 14? 15? She repressed a chuckle, not wanting Kzaar to know she was awake, like a child trying her best to get the most out of the piggy back ride she was getting.

@Driving Park My internet has terrible timing. Won't be posting for a few days. Sorry! (I have ideas about Maria and Jonathan though! And the group out at sea. ~)
My internet is out and won't be back up until at least Monday. I'm at my sister's this weekend on her internet but I need to do some school work on top of visiting with her and her son so, no post from me. I know I already said I may not post for a while and you can puppet my characters but I just wanted to update you guys as to my internet situation so if I don't return, you know why.
Compared to me, Obie, you're fine. Lol.

On that same vein, I probably won't be getting out a post till at least Monday. I'm REAAALLY sorry but mother nature called this week plus I really need to catch up on some school work before finals. So I'm going to go curl up in fetus position in my bed, rewatch Supernatural and drink hot tea with milk and honey and try not to think about my future responsibilities as an adult.

In other words, your average broke-ass female college student. I'm really sorry you guys have had to wait so long. However, for the sake of interaction, feel free to puppet Ama and Ara until I can post as them to post up their reactions to some things. I won't be able to respond to everything so forgive me if when I post if I skim over certain things that happened. I'll probably chalk it up to Ama not giving a shit and Ara being fucking oblivious as shit. So ye. Ama will either follow Zak around for now or find the nearest emo corner to hide in. Ara will follow Praeth like a lost puppy just wanting some freaking attention from her hot new husband. I mean... Yeah.

-grabs laptop, blanket, and tea and disappears into her room-
Oh, and painkillers, can't forget the painkillers.
-comes back out to snatch the bottle of painkillers as well then returns to dark room-
@Aro Sure!

Well, basically I tried to give a name/title to the villain of our plot but ended up getting help creating a more solid plot. As you may know, in the TP timeline Twinrova never dies but Ganon is banished to the Twilight Realm. Well, in the meantime he had many daughters, one of whom has proven herself to be a very strong Gerudo. Ganon, for our purposes, dies in the Twilight Realm at the hand of Midna and her people who over-powered him. Thus, the triforce of power went to Twinrova who decides to try and train Ganon's strongest daughter in the ways of their dark black magic. Now, she leads a resistant force against Queen Zelda who had a hand in trapping her father. She is known as the Moon Mother because she is believed to be the mother of the next Gerudo King, or so it has been foretold by the elders of the tribe. Those that work for her are known as the Eyes of the Moon and do their deeds in the shadows. No one from the Eyes of the Moon has been seen and neither as the Moon Mother.

She still needs a name, but ye. That'd be abouts it.

I tell you this stuff because I figure Xander must have some idea of what happening. Though, if you'd like he could be completely as in the dark about it as Derae is and learn with her from his own mother when they finally do get to the castle.
@my Lalia I guess you could say I'm alive. Hitting a sort of writer block. Doesn't help that I'm tired right now and just want to close my eyes and let sleep wash over me. I'll try to crank out a shitty post tomorrow if I can. I feel bad not reading everyone's posts like I should rather than just reading the ones that I might be mentioned in but ye.

I've seen something used in another RP where people put small 'summaries' at the end of their posts in hiders. Since the posts are so long, the summaries allow for people to quickly see the run down of the important things that happened in the post.

I.E.

I'm not saying we need to or even demanding. I'm just saying it would be helpful and can actually be kind of funny. It would certainly help me who is sort of being bogged down by the quantity of posts I need to read to stay on top of things. Again, I'll try to make a post tomorrow but I don't usually like to make posts that aren't at least well done in my mind. Mostly because I want to do it well but doing well would take me like an hour and yeah. I spend an hour on homework, not RP posts.

BUT, I'm not dead. And I don't want to drop this. I'm just... hanging back for a bit to see if my muse will return to me or not. :\
She(My Muse) probably will, she's just stubborn and lazy. Think of her like a fat cat and RP as food. She wants to get up and eat, but the walk over there is too much effort. So she'll get up, eat a bit, and then just pass out because the effort was too much.

...ye. Now, I'm off to dream land before I spew out more nonsensical nonsense.
@Aro Apologizes for not posting for a few days. On the brightside, I have more concrete plans for the plot of this story now. If you'd like to hear them. :P
Derae chuckled as he offered for her to join him and tell him how great he was. "Now, I think I've given enough compliments for one day. That's not really my style, usually." She explained, following him into the tent. "But I would like to talk to you about your mother." She added, the expression on her face suddenly serious. She knew the relationship between her father and the current queen but didn't know too much. She just knew they were friends but somehow she felt there was something more than what she'd been told. The expression her father had when the Queen mention wasn't a face you could make at the mention of a friend.

She shook her head when he apologized for the man from before. "Don't worry about it. You've done enough already. It's good enough to know he'll be getting his just deserts. Though, I feel like there's much we need to talk about once we get to the castle. Something tells me there's more where that guy came from in the royal guards. Have you heard the stories?" She asked, leaning over to grab an apple and handed it to Xander. "For your horse." She explained curtly, grinning at him.

The smile faded however as she turned to grab herself something to eat. "I've heard from the men in my village that the royal guardsmen and soldiers have been really cruel as of late. Many villagers have been injured and some have even died because of their antics." She explained as she grabbed some grub. As she moved to find a seat, she continued, "I hear they've been killing people in the name of the queen, calling them traitors to the crown."

She pulled over a crate and two stumps and sat down on one with her silver plate full of food, sausage and bread mostly. "Mr. Korane told me that he heard a soldier saying something about the Moon Mother. Do you know anything about that?" She asked before chomping down on a piece of bread.
