I went to public school. It sucked in some ways and was awesome in others. Most of the awesome happened in the band room though. So ye.
College is better and worse in some regards... .-.
Err...from what experience I've had in a few highscool RPs, most just skim over classes to lunch, then they go to electives sometimes (PE, Art, etc., etc.) then they skip over to after school. Just what the GMs did in those really. ^///^

That sounds like a plan to me. I've never been good at pacing these either.
Henry

A soft chuckle escaped his lips at her response. He watched with interest as she pulled her fingers through her hair and spoke to him.

"What? Oh. That's good... and uhhh thank you... aisssh.~ I have never been called pretty before! U-Unless you meant as in other pretty ladies..?"

He chuckled once more, a bit more heartily, at the 'aish' she added to her sentence. He hadn't heard someone talk like that since he went on vacation like 5 years ago. "People are blind if you've never been called pretty before. Either that or too lazy/shy/jealous to express it to you. And no, you're right in thinking I was referring to you. Though the world is full of pretty ladies." He explained, grinning at her.

"So, are you from Korea? I noticed the small 'aish' you added. Haven't heard that sort of dialect in a long time." He explained some more, scratching the back of his neck nervously. "I'm.. ahh... I'm not a very good Korean. I'm from South Korea but was orphaned at a young age. My parents are American now and I've spent my life here except for the few vacations I've taken to South Korea with them. I still don't really understand the language." He added and rubbed his neck some more.

"Maybe you could... teach me?" He asked, biting his lip playfully.

Maggie

"Yeah... You're probably right." Maggie started, sighing. She chuckled at Audrey's suggestion. "You know, I honestly feel badly for them. They feel the need to put on, as you put it eight layers of make-up to feel better about themselves. I myself don't really like make-up much. I only wear it around my grandmother and that's because she's such a stickler for it." She rambled. "But yeah, living hell." She added quickly.

"I know this is really weird and sudden so feel free to ignore the question but... What were/are your parents like? Mine were pretty liberal and fun growing up. Probably too much so." She asked, laughing. "I've traveled a lot through my childhood. Never really stayed in one place. I'm glad to be able to spend my last year in high school in one single place." She explained further.
Leo groaned with her head on the table, the smells of the men around her and the noises of the bar not exactly helping her hang over. She'd just woken up a bit ago from the bed of a rather strong willed male prostitute named Jinel. As the commotion continued, she lifted her head and glared daggers at the two dwarflings, her blue eyes piercing their way. Though, it didn't do much good as she was prompt ignored by pretty much everyone in the bar.

"Micky... Get me a freakin' drink to help with this hangover, would ya?" She asked, shoving the brown haired man next to her towards the bar. He chuckled at her and did as she asked.

Good, means I don't have to pay for it. She mused to herself. She stretched her arms up in the air and got a better look at what was going on in the middle of the bar and raised a brow. It certainly was an interesting sort of sport and certainly one that a bunch of drunken hooligans would come up with.

She clapped heartily as the winner was announced and the beard was cut. Though, she did feel poorly for the poor red beard. Hopefully it grew back quickly. "Eh, served him right though." She muttered to herself and chuckled, making a motion to jab at Micky but remembered he was gone and instead jabbed at the person next to her. But when she looked up, it wasn't who she expected.

Wait.... What had he said before this? Money? Did she have any money? Leo's eyes went wide for a moment before she calmed down and chuckled once again at herself. "Nah, mate. Not a lick of it." She explained, making random hand gestures and then regretting it.

"Here's your drink, Leo." Micky spoke from behind her, "Now, kindly pay up." He added, as if just to spite her.

"Now, now, Micky." she began, turning from the stranger next to her. "There's no need for that." She continued, picking up the drink from the table and gulping from it. The slop felt nasty going down her throat but she felt relieved.

"Seriously, Leo? You're going to pay me back for that, ya blondie." He returned, glaring at her.

"How about I pay you back by savin' yer ass from the punishment you get when you don't show up for roll call on time, ya glutton." She retorted, glaring back equally. Shaking her head at him, she returned to look at the stranger and grinned. "Hello there, friend. I'm not sure I've seen you much around here. I'm Leo." She greeted him, holding out her hand for a shake.
Henry

"Hey, wait I-" He called out but she was already gone and he was left alone once again. He pursed his lips for a moment, whining when another girl walked by and spoke to him.

"Hey Henry." She called out, waving back at him as she continued walking. He grinned and followed her in, making small conversation. The two walked down the hall. The girl, he'd just learned her name was Felicia, for the second time, was a blonde haired beauty and from what he could tell was on the cheerleading team. Henry grinned as he walked with her, straightening his button up shirt under his black vest. The baby blue shirt and black skinny jeans really made his orange/red hair pop out rather nicely.

He said goodbye to Felicia when he noticed Mina drinking from the water fountain. After all, he still had a misunderstanding to clear up. He bit his bottom lip before sliding in next to Mina, leaning against the wall coolly. "Come here often, little miss?" He asked her in a playful tone. "I myself find that the watering hole is the best place to meet pretty ladies." He continued, grinning as he looked over at her.

"Anyway, jokes aside. I wanted to make sure I cleared up any misunderstanding you had. You, as you will never be, were not a bother to me at all. If anything, I'll be the one to annoy the crap out of you, little miss." He explained, winking at her.

Maggie

"Yeah, but I'm comfortable admitting I'm weird." She replied, chuckling at the poke. She looked around when Audrey mentioned the lack of people and nodded. "Yeah, but I dunno. I'm feelin' lazy right now. If you want to head out and meet people, we can. But I'd prefer stay here and relax before class starts, you know? But again, I'll do whatever you want to do, chickie."
Henry

With light and airy piano key stroke and soft guitar strums, the music he heard softened his heart and caused his grin to turn into a soft smile. "I don't have to see you right now..." He blinked at some of the lyrics, what he could hear of it, and leaned back to get a look at her.

"So, how's life?"

She asked him and he sat for a moment to ponder it when another girl appeared on the scene.

"Hey you guys.. I was wondering. Am I late to class or something? Like, my alarm clock rung at a bad time.. or maybe it was just that the timer was wrong...? Ugh, I need to rest.. I'm so tired.."

She, uh... she could certainly say a mouthful. He chuckled for a moment before turning back to Liz. "I'd like to answer in full, but to ignore her would be in bad taste." He told her, giving the already annoyed girl a small wink. Turning back to the asian girl, he responded, "Nah. School doesn't start for another like... 15 minutes. You're good. In fact, if you wanna take a nap like Liz here, I could watch over you. I won't make a move on you. Scout's Honor." He explained, holding up three fingers as if to prove he was a scout, which he was. He just didn't make it to Eagle and had no drive to. He ignored her last statement of her leaving as if her asking had been a waste of her breath.

Though, somehow during this Liz had managed to slip away. He'd have to find her later. Probably during Lab. She had a way of leaving when she probably knew he didn't have the heart to walk away from anyone.

Maggie

Maggie smiled brightly at Audrey's response. "Of course. High School is what making new friends is all about, right?" She responded, reaching a hand over to shake the other girl's head side to side. "You're a weird one, all right." She told her playfully, hoping that her voice conveyed that. If she made someone cry on the very first day, she'd fucking cry herself...
Henry

He blinked, looking at her as she sat there, unperturbed by his advances. He'd known this would be her reaction but it still left him with a big bruise on his heart. With a quick short sigh, he smiled at her. She probably meant to insult him by calling him an alien but somehow he felt flattered. After all, nicknames meant they were getting closer right?

"Hey Henry!" Another female shouted from the sidewalk and Henry's head perked up to wave at her with a bright smile.

"Hey, Caroline." He greeted her before turning back to Liz. Henry twisted his body and pulled himself up to sit next to Liz with his legs crossed, indian style. With both hands on his knees, he grinned at her. "What're you listening to?" He asked, leaning in towards her, pressing his ear near her headset to try and get a listen.
There's a post for Henry. If I did anything stupid lemme know and I'll change it I.E. Liz and he being lab partners.
Henry

He nodded his head as the music flowed through the speakers of his headset, loud and clear as a bell. Mr. Mr. by Girl's Generation. Despite considering himself an American, the girls in the band were extremely attractive and listening to them sing made his day. He smiled, big and cocky, and chewed the gum his mother had given him that morning.

"Maybe this'll keep you from talking back this morning." She'd told him. He chuckled and walked on with it. Thinking back on it, she was being sort of weird. Why the hell would that even matter? It wasn't like his teachers really hated him. He shrugged and continued on, pushing his hands into his jacket pockets and trudging onwards.

The only reason he was even willing to go to school was because of the social aspects it held for him. Girls... Bros... Hot teachers... The usual for a 17 year old boy. He frowned at the thought of having to do schoolwork at least halfway decently to keep that going but it faded when he noticed Liz sitting by the oak tree. With a big grin on his face, he rushed over, pushing down his headset as he did.

"Liz!!" He shouted, waving his hands wildly at her, procuring a few glances from those lingering around the outside of the building. Realizing that she probably couldn't hear him, he kept quiet as he run over to her, sliding in next to her. In his head, he thought it must have looked really freaking cool. But in actuality he just looked like he fell on his ass... again. He propped up his head with his arm and looked up at her, his head rather close to her lap. "Howdy, Pardner." He grinned, looking up at his lab partner.
