She was running. That's all she knew in that moment. One moment, she was having a nice relaxing bath, the next she was running through the woods butt naked, wondering how the hell she got there. Had she been drugged? Was the rest of her family okay? Where was she running to? She stopped after a few minutes of running, her mind racing with what to do. She hadn't seen a single damn building out here. Her next thought went to who would do this? Why would they do this? And where the hell were they now.
She continued walking, her feet cut by the forest floor and raw by now. Every step was painful, every step was starting to feel like her last. She wasn't built for this, for survival out in the woods with nothing but her birthday suit to protect her. She was going to die out here. As the thought hit her, she stopped, dead in her tracks and plopped down onto her knees to cry, sobbing after a moment.
Her tears pulled the attention of a man, just within earshot, who.. at first thought she might be some ghost. But against his better nature, walked closer to investigate. He hadn't planned on veering off course today, his mother would have surely punished him but he couldn't help his curiosity. It wasn't every day that the prince of his fair kingdom got the chance to explore out on his own like this, nevermind the fact that he'd slipped out unawares...
He approached the sound, still fully convinced he was going to be attacked by some foul witch or ghost trying to coax him closer, when he spotted her. She was hunched over in the grass and... completely naked?! He blinked, not really fully believing his eyes. But he couldn't stop his feet from getting closer from, trying to help her.
"..Miss? Are you okay?"
A fearsome king and loyal lover, Cuprite stands tall as the Leader of the Wildshape. For all it's inhabitants that come from every walk of life, every corner of the world, he fights to protect and improve their lives. He is not a dragon to take his work and role lightly and expects as much from his future offspring.
His best friend growing up was a dragon called Ambrose, a very energetic Pearlcatcher dragon. It was mostly unknown to him the animosity between the two breeds, but it became very apparent when he told his parents about his new friend, only be told to stop spending time with him. That only made the young dragon want to see his friend more. He needed to know what was so bad about his breed that his parents would openly demand he stop seeing him. Ambrose also had no idea as to why the two breeds had such disdain for each other.
"Why would anyone hate a Pearlcatcher? I think your pearls are really cool." Cuprite told his friend one day, huffing a bit at the idea of being mean just because of his breed. "Why wouldn't I think they're cool?"
"I'm not sure, honestly. I don't get why so many of my kind don't like yours. I asked my aunt and she said it's jealousy." Ambrose returned, shoulders shrugging apathetically.
"Well... I'm not jealous of any of the pearlcatchers! I think it's stupid to think like that." Cuprite huffed indignantly.
"And I'm not jealous of you. I can't really even think of a reason why I would be, you know?" Ambrose returned. "But... what can we do about other people? Not much."
"Well, when I'm older, I'm going to make my own clan where things like that don't matter. Where everyone is treated equally. I can't change everyone's way of thinking, but if you and I can think like this, the surely others can!" Cuprite huffed, sure of himself as he puffed his chest out. Nevermind the fact that he had no idea what it would take to lead a clan himself.
"That sounds nice... but I wonder if it's possible..." Ambrose sighed.
"Of course it is! Anything is possible if you put your mind to it."
Despite Cuprite's reassurances, he wasn't able to convince his friend to join him when he left their clan. The only person willing to join him was his sister, Raira. She was more than willing to leave, more out of a desire to be free from her parents than anything. Ambrose not joining him, didn't deter the young dragon. As soon as he was old enough to really grow into his wings, he approached his father and let him know of his intentions. As expected, the older dragon was none to happy to hear this, but respected his son's wishes. His mother, however, was less than happy and made several attempts over the course of Cuprite's preparations to leave to stop him and his sister.
Unable to sway Cuprite or Raira to stay, the two left and set off to find a space for their clan. They settled on the branches of the Behemoth, who branches held the Gladebough Village. Cuprite and his sister met their respective mates here among the other clans and convinced them to join them. Since then, they have welcomed dragons into their growing community. Cuprite rules their clan as "King" with a firm hand and a gentle voice. He allows dragons to enter freely and leave freely.
Dragons do have to be approved by his now trusted Advisors, a pair of Wildclaw dragons that had more than proven their worth protecting Cuprite and his family in the underbrush below the Behemoth. Amore and Aconite became a part of the Advisory Council that helped approve the acceptance of new dragons into their clan by helping them find a job/role within the community. Amore takes a larger role in helping to train old and new adult dragons to defend themselves along with his mate, Aconite.
Raira and her husband, Bercilak also help in guiding the community on the Advisory Council. Raira spends her time with her husband answering the questions of the clan in her brother's place so that Cuprite may spend his days working with other clan's leaders to build diplomatic influence for their clan and create healthy relationships with their neighbors.
One day, while taking a stroll through the forest with his mate, Cuprite noticed a small tuft of bright green fur poking out from the bush. It wiggled a bit as he approached. He called out softly, "Hello?"
His mate, Eden, perked her head up, now seeing the odd looking hair as well. And just as soon as she took a step to get closer, it seemed to pop out at her. She was about to lift a paw to claw at it in defense, when Cuprite lifted a paw to stop her.
The bright green tuft of hair had gotten herself stuck in a mess of tangled sticks and bramble. Her big bright pinks looked up at him and they swirled with an intense arcane energy. All he could think of was that it must have been painful, having so much magical energy in such a small body. Leaning down, Cuprite, gave the small deer looking creature a cursory sniff before moving to help her out of the brambles.
She huffed and stomped her hooves in protest, even though she knew deep down he was only trying to help her. Once freed, however, she pranced around him in glee, bounding cheerfully.
"That feels better, hm?" He chuckled, watching her until it made him feel dizzy. She paused for a moment, those big pink eyes watching him before she took a few steps closer to him, tentatively. Taking it as an invitation, Cuprite, bent his head down to her, to be a bit more on her level. At this, she slowly pressed forward until their noses touched.
Pink sparks seemed to literally fly in the space between their snouts, and Cuprite felt something shoot down his spine. His heart felt warm and suddenly he could her a voice...
"Hello? Hello? Can you hear me?"
The voice was soft, gentle and sounded very much like a young hatchling might.
"Yes... I can hear you..."
"Oh! Oh! Joy! That brings me so much joy! I think I would have been in those brambles forever if you hadn't come along." She chuckled, seeming to grin to herself. Her blue fur seemed to shimmer even more in the light of the sun as she stepped into a patch of sunlight.
"And you are...?" He asked, chuckling again.
"Hm? Me? I.. To be honest, I'm not sure what I am! I just.. woke up and started wandering around. And then I got stuck.. and then I met you!"
"My love... Just who exactly are you talking to?" Eden asked, a worried expression turning on her face as she watched him.
"Hm? You can't hear her?" He asked, confused.
"Oh, only you can! I'm your spirideer now!" She started, blinking for a moment. "Oh... I guess that just came to me... weird... But anyway, I bonded to you! Well, our hearts did." She explained, making a quick spin as sparkles of magic floated around her.
"My... Spirideer?" Cuprite started, blinking a bit. He hadn't expected a new companion today, much less one that bonded to him... But, here he was.
Raira had always been a free spirit. From the moment she was born, she had been contrary to her parents. It wasn't as if she lived to disagree with them, but she certainly had a mind of her own and nothing anyone said could dissuade her from doing what she wanted to do. Stubborn to a fault. The last thing Raira ever wanted was to be in charge of an entire clan but despite that, when given the opportunity to leave her little Lightning Clan to explore the greater world with her brother, she took it. Though, she hadn't anticipated he'd settle them down so quickly...
She still hasn't really forgiven him for that and regularly leaves the community to explore on her own. If asked, she'd explain that there was something inside of her, something that vibrated with an intensity she couldn't explain and the only solution was to fly free and explore at her own pace.
Raira didn't have many friends growing up, but the one she had was the truest friend she'd ever had. Pache, a male Fae dragon who despite being hard for her to understand, had become her closest friend and confidant. She could tell him anything and he would always listen with eyes that seemed to always understand her feelings. She'd often sneak him into her nest to hang out with her, since he was small enough to hide in her wings. The only person who knew about Pache was her brother Cuprite, who despite not understanding how she could understand or communicate with Pache respected her relationship with him.
Raira remembers a humorous moment when Pache and Cuprite misunderstood each other.
"...What? Why are you doing that?" Cuprite asked, his eyes narrowing as he watched the small white Fae dragon flutter around him, bouncing up and down from the ground wildly, his head frills moving and undulating.
"Raira!" The smaller dragon called, his voice high-pitched but utterly monotone.
"What about her?" Cuprite asked again.
"Birth! Birth!" Pache cried out, still trilling frantically.
"What?!" He asked, blinking. "Are you trying to say Raira has laid eggs? That's not even possible! She's too young!" He started, now frantic. "Oh god, how would we explain this to mother? Should we tell her? Do we have to?" Cuprite mumbled to himself, mind churning.
Pache visibly deflated a bit before starting back up again. By the time Pache spoke again, Cuprite was already running to find Raira. "Birth day! Birth dayyyy!" He cried out after the larger dragon.
Cuprite had found Raira by that point and a rather humorous exchange took place in which her brother, face impossibly red, tried to ask her if she had laid any eggs recently. Which had, in fact, prompted a rather red face from her as well. They had a rather long conversation about trying to learn how to properly read Pache's frills but that certainly wasn't the only time Cuprite and Pache had misunderstood each other.
When Raira arrived at the Gladebough Village, she met an incredibly handsome and sweet Imperial Dragon whom she fell instantly in love with. She spent the first few months they were in the village, following him around, trying to impress him with both her physical prowess and intelligence. He didn't seem interested at all at first. He often scoffed silently and turned his nose up at her, walking away. But after months of trying and trying, Raira was a few steps away from giving up on him completely when he actually responded to her.
"Bercilak! I found a pretty stone while hunting near the river that I wanted to show you." Raira called out, grinning as she dropped the stone at his table, where he was reading a scroll on the history of fighting tactics used by Ice dragons. She half expected him to completely ignore her and was ready after waiting a moment to pick the stone back up and turn away.
She watched him look up from his scroll, however, head raising just slightly as he looked at the stone. "It is.. very pretty.." He mumbled, glancing her away for the briefest of moments before looking back at his book.
From then on, Raira never left Bercilak alone and it seemed as though the younger dragon didn't mind. The true turning point in their relationship, however, came on a hunt Bercilak had accompanied Raira, her brother, and her brother's mate, Eden. The four were prowling the groves below the village. Eden and Cuprite split off, Raira assumed to go have some alone time. The thought alone made her incredibly jealous and she stuck her tongue out after her brother before continuing on. As she walked, however, she heard the roar of a dire claw.
It swiped at her and she barely managed to dodge out of the way. It felt as if everything moved in slow motion. The leaves in the trees seemed to still as she watched Bercilak leap out in front of her, fighting with the bear. He was severely wounded, but the young dragon did manage to hold his ground against the bear long enough for it to tire of them and run off. Worried, Raira raced to his side.
"Bercy, are you okay? Oh my goodness... Oh no... What am I going to do.." She cried out, tears streaming down her face. In her mind, his wounds had to be fatal, she just knew it.
"Calm down, little one..." He replied, his voice soft and even toned. It sounded as if he wasn't even hurt. Which, Raira had to admit had bolstered her mood considerably. Tears still streamed down her face but now, she felt like he would be okay, that it would be okay.
"Let me go get Cuprite!" She called out, starting to get up. She was stopped by Bercilak, who had grabbed her leg and pulled her back.
"Stay... He'll come back to check on us and I don't want you to be alone out there..." He grumbled, voice deep and now tinged with obvious pain. Raira could feel her heart breaking for him but she stayed with him, doing what she could. Cuprite did eventually find them and rush to help his sister get Bercilak back to the village for healing.
Since that moment, a sort of unspoken bond formed between Raira and Bercilak and they became mates despite never asking one another. Because of this incident, Raira spends a lot of her time researching healing salves and healing magic so that she never has to feel that helpless again.

~Personality~
Logan is a rather quiet boy who tends to keep to himself. He finds it hard to be himself around people, the fear of rejection out weighing his desire to be loved. Living by himself didn't help matters either. It just led to a lot of misconceptions about him and his past. Rumors flew through the air around him. That he'd killed his own parents and that he joined the mafia. Because of his rough appearance a lot of people believed it. After all, how could a guy who looked so angry all the time be anything but bad news?
In Paradise, however, Logan had no fears. Under the pretense of "Prince", he held no fear of being himself. A fun loving and warm individual. Prince can talk just a bit too much but he always means well. He's also a bit of a free spirit, doing whatever he wants when he wants. If it is something he'd rather not do, he won't.
~Background~
Logan, despite what people think, has a family that is relatively well off. When they deicded to move, he didn't want anything to change and so he stayed in their old home by himself while his parents moved to another part of the country. Not wanting to face the fear of rejection again, he decided to stay and simply play the part they'd wanted to give him.
When he found out about Paradise, he asked his parents and they had the game shipped to his home. Since then, he hasn't gone out much besides going to school every now and then and soon even that ended as he spent all of his time in the game with his new friends. Because of the mask Logan could wear, he felt safe to be himself and made a few friends with whom he spent a good deal of his time. Paradise was truly a paradise for him.
In 2045 a new form of gaming was released into the public. It was said to be a surreal experience and it didn't disappoint. Paradise, as the game was called, ran on the newly developed game system named The Revelation. Developed by ᴢᴏʟᴛᴀᴄ Industries. The game and it's system were pioneered by a man by the name of Miles Standish. This game has everything any gamer could need. Countless worlds to explore each with their own unique culture and wildlife.
This is where they come in. A small group of friends that have been playing together for about a year or so now. None of them know one another, but they are all good friends despite the distance. Their hangout is a chat-room that the group managed to buy together. They call it 'The Cave.' While being one of the lower tier rooms, it has everything they could possibly need. Together, over the years, they managed to buy several things for the room like couches, games, a TV, books, posters. They made it feel like a home and it was where they spent most of their time.
However, one afternoon, while they were hanging out in The Cave going over what they'd earned that day, one of the members turns on the TV to find something rather horrifying. News that just recently, the main developer of the game had died. Worried, they all immediately look to the news feed, finding that every channel in existence was discussing the young man's death. Hours later, a message pops up on their internal screens. The late Miles Standish's avatar appears before every player currently in the game and begins to speak to them.
"Hello fellow adventurers, assassins, mercenaries, bards, etc etc. I think it's due time that I explain the situation to you. I have a little proposition for all of you." He begins, his face masked in blackness.
"If you can discover the secrets I have placed through the game, then I will give you all of my vast riches and you shall live like a king." He continued, turning his head slightly as if looking at something in the distance. "There is no time limit, however... knowing the clever nature of the lot of you, I'd encourage you to work in haste. There will only be one winner."
"I won't be handing out any clues so... This is all I offer you. Good Luck." He finished, the screen blipping out as the characters returned to the reality of the situation. In each of their inboxes is a small book icon labeled, "Book of Life"
There are rumors that float around.. strange rumors that Standish isn't dead. And that another rival company is after all of his secrets. F.A.Z.E. is an organization that showed it's ugly mug a few months after the announcement of Standish's death. Their mission? Get his riches and shut down the server so that they can launch their own without resistance.

Welcome to... Paradise!

In order to have a balanced party, there will be slots for different classes. We don't want 4 blademasters and 3 marksmen. We need variety. So... Here are your choices and what has been taken. Claim them before they're gone!
--In place of slots, I've elected to let people be whatever they want. However, when a CS is posted for approval, if you chose a class that is already being used, we may deny you to keep things balanced in terms of party members. So just be aware of that when creating your characters.

Paradise is a game developed by Miles Standish that came out in the year 2045, which is coincidental in that this was the 10 year anniversary of Miles' sister, Lisa Standish's, death. The console itself is a fully integrated body suit that plugs into the machine Standish, creatively, named the Globe. It is a circular frame in which the player sits in and straps themself into. When they say, "On" the system boots up as prompts them with questions. The system, much like Apple's Siri, is a programmable interface that speaks with the player through their life while not in the game and gives them information about what is currently happening in game. When they log into the world, their suit plugs into the interface and they go into a 'dream-like' state. The circular design of the console, allows the player to move as their character would building up muscle and even giving them the nutrition they gain in game. The system keeps them alive, giving them everything they would need to be a healthy individual.
Skills, Abilities, Stats and Techniques: Know the Difference
Skills: A skill is a passive bonus certain characters get to actions they preform. They can be trained either by taking certain classes at the academy, using them often, or the use of certain items and equipment.
Abilities: Abilities are active powers your characters gain, and are decided by the game. Abilities cannot be altered, and are learned by taking certain classes at the academy, leveling up, advancing certain skills or equipping rare armor and weapons.
Stats: Stats are your character's base ability. They are separated into several types, and can be improved by leveling up, using certain items or equipment, or taking the "Practical" classes at the academy. Stats are as follows: STR: Strength. Determines how physically strong your character is. STR is used in Melee combat, interacting with certain environment items, and using certain equipment. FOC: Focus. Used in casting spells and building items. A certain amount of FOC is required to use higher level firearms, and the FOC skill effects how accurate your shots are. AGI: Agility. Determines how fast and agile your character is. Used for moving around the environment and in using certain items and equipment.
Techniques: Techniques are combinations of Abilities and moves the player uses, and are not determined by the System. By using complimentary abilities together, a player can turn seemingly weak powers into a strategic advantage.
Chapter Two: Magic and You
Magic in Paradise can be used two ways. You can either cast spells using the Base System or the Interpretation System.
Base System: The Base System uses the game's pre-programed spells. Once you have learned a spell, all you have to do is think the name of the spell three times in your head to activate it.
Interpretation System: The Interpretation System is more complicated. Once you have a magic skill, you can activate the system by thinking Interprate three times, as if you were casting a spell. After that, whatever you imagine for the next five seconds will be translated into a spell. This system uses far more mana than the Base System, and can be difficult to control, but isn't bound by the limitations of the Premade spells. Once you achieve a similar effect five times with this system, you have the option of recording it as a personal spell, and it will then have an appropriate Mana value applied and can be named.

The Harp listened intently to those that chose to speak and it appeared as if the figure smiled though no one really knew. Though, as much as the Harp wanted to listen to the rest of them, another hooded figure came rushing into the meeting room and bent down to whisper something in the Harp's ear.
"I'm sor---Harp. It lo-----------the Lost--------village--------dying-------time."
The Harp nodded slowly, something about the figure's posture suddenly shifted. It's back got straighter and it leaned forwards slightly. "Change of plans. Shae, expect a letter to be delivered to you about the plans for the group. It seems things will need to be put into action much sooner than we anticipated." The Harp explained, it's voice suddenly sounded almost rushed and frantic. "Please show your team to the airship and give them the details when they are given to you. You'll all be dropped off at the location, expect Lost to be there when you arrive. No time to rest, be on high alert." It explained shortly, and was suddenly out of the room in a flash, white and gold robes whipping about as it flew past the door.
Isa blinked, her lips pursed. "Well, that's certainly odd." She remarked, never having seen the Harp seem so flustered.
Lily blushed at Crash's remark about Carmen. Her hands came together as she nervously rubbed her ring finger. It still felt like they'd only just started dating for real and she still felt flashes and pangs of heartache when she wasn't with Carmen. Being able to sense her help though. She knew where Carmen was should anything happen to her or should Lily need her.
She raised her brow as Crash began to come clean about who he was really looking for and her eyes went wide as he suddenly disappeared from her sight. She looked around to see his form crashing towards the garden. With a puff of purple smoke, he'd changed and then changed back once out of the thorn bush.
Graceful as always. She mused.
She covered her mouth to suppress the laughter that threatened to tarnish her image. She tried to compose herself, not able to wipe away the grin on her face and the random grunting noises she made when trying to hold back the laughter. "You certainly have a way of living up to people's expectations of you." She told him, suddenly letting the laughter out. She chuckled for about 30 seconds before calming down.
"Come on, Mr. Accident Prone. Let's get you to the infirmary. Some pain meds and bandaids should fix you right up." She told him, holding out a hand for him. When he did grab it, he'd feel a warm feeling wash over him as Lily extended her energy to heal him ever so slightly. She felt the waves of dull pain seep over her as she took bits of it from him. She'd learned this trick over the years. Before she couldn't control how much she healed and now that she was in an important position, she had to look out for herself too.
No more healing burn victims and then getting hospitalized for them. Those days were... ehm... over.
Yato's cheeks went red when she replied to his comment about her kiss. He swallowed as he watched her eat her food. When she asked for more, he silently nodded and tore off another piece for her, this time a bit bigger so she could tear off pieces for herself.
"Eat slowly. If your body is used to the food, your stomach may get more upset than it was. And don't put too much into your mouth, you'll choke." He explained. As he watched her eat, he walked over and grabbed a biscuit for himself. Dunking it into a nearby vat of butter, he tore a hunk out of it with his teeth and began to eat himself. He shouldn't eat too much. His body definitely wasn't used to eating this early in the morning.
He chuckled again, a low sort of rumble and a content smile fell onto his face, almost like a blanket settling down comfortably. He moved his hand away and revealed the cut to Lux, letting her look at it. It was slightly red from irritation but the blood had already stopped flowing. "With your kiss, any wound would heal, Lux." He told her, smiling. If anyone had saw him, they would have dropped dead on the spot. Yato? Being sweet to someone? Hell, he even yelled at his sister for being scared.
"Let me get you something to eat." He told her, and quickly turned to grab a small biscuit from a nearby tray. "Here, try this." He told her, ripping off a small piece of it for her to try. "Put it in your mouth, chew it, and then swallow." He explained, not knowing if she knew how or not but not wanting her to choke. God forbid, he was going to become paranoid with her around. More so than he already was with all the threats on his life. Things would get interesting, that much was certain.
Yato's eyes went wide as Lux started crying. He suddenly bolted up from his position and began looking around the room as if something in it would help him make the waterworks stop. "Ahhh... Umm... Don't... Don't cry." He stammered, a pained expression on his face. "Stop crying right now!" He told her in a firm voice, his brows furrowed in worry. Oh, dear lord... He didn't know what to do with a crying Lux. She was so small and he felt like with one touch he could crush her.
And the kiss had his finger burning up now. He could still feel the tiny lips on his finger. What a strange pair they were becoming. He lifted his hand and placed it gently on her head, rubbing it ever so gently. "Please, don't cry..." He whispered, his voice cracking.
"You should get used to it." He told her, his face once again expressionless. "That isn't going to stop anytime soon." He continued, feeling his stomach knot up. He felt like he'd hurt her just now but he'd never known any differently. What was it like to tell someone to do something for you without having to yell at them?
It felt like a magic trick he couldn't ever figure out. How to gain respect without demanding it. It was something his father had never gotten the hang of, but his older brother seemed to know well despite not being able to claim the throne.
While he was thinking, Lux was poking at a steak knife and when he heard her ask what it did, he turned to look at her. Noticing it, his eyes went wide. "Don't touch that!" He yelled, almost diving for the knife. He cut his finger pushing the knife away from her as it slid across the table and fell to the floor with a loud clang. He sighed a breath of relief and laid his head against the table to catch his breath. He began to wonder if this was what having a child was like. Constant worry. If so, he didn't want one. "That's a knife. It's used to cut things and it can be very dangerous." He explained, lifting up his head to inspect his finger. The cut wasn't very deep but there was a small droplet of blood that began to pool up and drip down his middle finger. "See? So, don't touch anything please... For me?" He asked, sending her a pleading look. He didn't know if he could take this much worry.
"Mmm." He mumbled, her voice pulling him away from his thought. "You can come out now." He told her, holding out his hand. As he waited for her to come out, he softly walked over to the doors to lock them, careful not to knock her about.
He knew that she probably wanted to know about what all had happened but he'd rather just ignore it for now. If she asked, he'd probably snap at her. He hoped she wouldn't but knew she would eventually.
When all was done and the windows curtains were pulled, Yato placed Lux on the table in the center of the room and walked around trying to find something for her to eat. "Fancy anything particular?" He asked, forgetting she had no knowledge of food and therefore wouldn't have any fancy for anything other than for her stomach to stop moving about oddly.

Are you okay?"</div></div><br><br><div class="hider-panel"><div class="hider-heading"><button type="button" class="btn btn-default btn-xs hider-button" data-name="Dragon Lore (FlightRising)">Dragon Lore (FlightRising) [+]</button></div><div class="hider-body" style="display: none">A fearsome king and loyal lover, Cuprite stands tall as the Leader of the Wildshape. For all it's inhabitants that come from every walk of life, every corner of the world, he fights to protect and improve their lives. He is not a dragon to take his work and role lightly and expects as much from his future offspring.<br><br>His best friend growing up was a dragon called Ambrose, a very energetic Pearlcatcher dragon. Ambrose also had no idea as to why the two breeds had such disdain for each other.<br><br>"Why would anyone hate a Pearlcatcher? I think your pearls are really cool." Cuprite told his friend one day, huffing a bit at the idea of being mean just because of his breed. "Why wouldn't I think they're cool?"<br><br>"I'm not sure, honestly. I don't get why so many of my kind don't like yours. I asked my aunt and she said it's jealousy." Ambrose returned, shoulders shrugging apathetically.<br><br>"Well... I'm not jealous of any of the pearlcatchers! I think it's stupid to think like that." Cuprite huffed indignantly.<br><br>"And I'm not jealous of you. I can't really even think of a reason why I would be, you know?" Ambrose returned. "But... what can we do about other people? Not much."<br><br>"Well, when I'm older, I'm going to make my own clan where things like that don't matter. Where everyone is treated equally. I can't change everyone's way of thinking, but if you and I can think like this, the surely others can!" Cuprite huffed, sure of himself as he puffed his chest out. Nevermind the fact that he had no idea what it would take to lead a clan himself.<br><br>"That sounds nice... but I wonder if it's possible..." Ambrose sighed.<br><br>"Of course it is! Anything is possible if you put your mind to it."<br><br>Despite Cuprite's reassurances, he wasn't able to convince his friend to join him when he left their clan. His mother, however, was less than happy and made several attempts over the course of Cuprite's preparations to leave to stop him and his sister.<br><br>Unable to sway Cuprite or Raira to stay, the two left and set off to find a space for their clan. He allows dragons to enter freely and leave freely.<br><br>Dragons do have to be approved by his now trusted Advisors, a pair of Wildclaw dragons that had more than proven their worth protecting Cuprite and his family in the underbrush below the Behemoth. Amore and Aconite became a part of the Advisory Council that helped approve the acceptance of new dragons into their clan by helping them find a job/role within the community. Amore takes a larger role in helping to train old and new adult dragons to defend themselves along with his mate, Aconite.<br><br>Raira and her husband, Bercilak also help in guiding the community on the Advisory Council. Raira spends her time with her husband answering the questions of the clan in her brother's place so that Cuprite may spend his days working with other clan's leaders to build diplomatic influence for their clan and create healthy relationships with their neighbors.</div></div><br><br><div class="hider-panel"><div class="hider-heading"><button type="button" class="btn btn-default btn-xs hider-button" data-name="More Dragon Lore (Flight Rising)">More Dragon Lore (Flight Rising) [+]</button></div><div class="hider-body" style="display: none">One day, while taking a stroll through the forest with his mate, Cuprite noticed a small tuft of bright green fur poking out from the bush. It wiggled a bit as he approached. He called out softly, "Hello?"<br><br>His mate, Eden, perked her head up, now seeing the odd looking hair as well. And just as soon as she took a step to get closer, it seemed to pop out at her. She was about to lift a paw to claw at it in defense, when Cuprite lifted a paw to stop her.<br><br>The bright green tuft of hair had gotten herself stuck in a mess of tangled sticks and bramble. Her big bright pinks looked up at him and they swirled with an intense arcane energy. All he could think of was that it must have been painful, having so much magical energy in such a small body. Leaning down, Cuprite, gave the small deer looking creature a cursory sniff before moving to help her out of the brambles.<br><br>She huffed and stomped her hooves in protest, even though she knew deep down he was only trying to help her. Once freed, however, she pranced around him in glee, bounding cheerfully.<br><br>"That feels better, hm?" He chuckled, watching her until it made him feel dizzy. She paused for a moment, those big pink eyes watching him before she took a few steps closer to him, tentatively. Taking it as an invitation, Cuprite, bent his head down to her, to be a bit more on her level. At this, she slowly pressed forward until their noses touched.<br><br>Pink sparks seemed to literally fly in the space between their snouts, and Cuprite felt something shoot down his spine. His heart felt warm and suddenly he could her a voice...<br><br>"Hello? Hello? Can you hear me?"<br><br>The voice was soft, gentle and sounded very much like a young hatchling might.<br><br>"Yes... I can hear you..."<br><br>"Oh! Oh! Joy! That brings me so much joy! I think I would have been in those brambles forever if you hadn't come along." She chuckled, seeming to grin to herself. Her blue fur seemed to shimmer even more in the light of the sun as she stepped into a patch of sunlight.<br><br>"And you are...?" He asked, chuckling again.<br><br>"Hm? Me? I.. To be honest, I'm not sure what I am! I just.. woke up and started wandering around. And then I got stuck.. and then I met you!"<br><br>"My love... Just who exactly are you talking to?" Eden asked, a worried expression turning on her face as she watched him.<br><br>"Hm? You can't hear her?" He asked, confused.<br><br>"Oh, only you can! I'm your spirideer now!" She started, blinking for a moment. "Oh... I guess that just came to me... weird... But anyway, I bonded to you! Well, our hearts did." She explained, making a quick spin as sparkles of magic floated around her.<br><br>"My... Spirideer?" Cuprite started, blinking a bit. He hadn't expected a new companion today, much less one that bonded to him... But, here he was.</div></div><br><br><div class="hider-panel"><div class="hider-heading"><button type="button" class="btn btn-default btn-xs hider-button" data-name="Even More Dragon Lore (Flight Rising)">Even More Dragon Lore (Flight Rising) [+]</button></div><div class="hider-body" style="display: none">Raira had always been a free spirit. Though, she hadn't anticipated he'd settle them down so quickly...<br><br>She still hasn't really forgiven him for that and regularly leaves the community to explore on her own. If asked, she'd explain that there was something inside of her, something that vibrated with an intensity she couldn't explain and the only solution was to fly free and explore at her own pace.<br><br>Raira didn't have many friends growing up, but the one she had was the truest friend she'd ever had. The only person who knew about Pache was her brother Cuprite, who despite not understanding how she could understand or communicate with Pache respected her relationship with him.<br><br>Raira remembers a humorous moment when Pache and Cuprite misunderstood each other.<br><br>"...What? Why are you doing that?" Cuprite asked, his eyes narrowing as he watched the small white Fae dragon flutter around him, bouncing up and down from the ground wildly, his head frills moving and undulating.<br><br>"Raira!" The smaller dragon called, his voice high-pitched but utterly monotone.<br><br>"What about her?" Cuprite asked again.<br><br>"Birth! Birth!" Pache cried out, still trilling frantically.<br><br>"What?!" He asked, blinking. "Are you trying to say Raira has laid eggs? That's not even possible! She's too young!" He started, now frantic. "Oh god, how would we explain this to mother? Should we tell her? Do we have to?" Cuprite mumbled to himself, mind churning.<br><br>Pache visibly deflated a bit before starting back up again. By the time Pache spoke again, Cuprite was already running to find Raira. "Birth day! Birth dayyyy!" He cried out after the larger dragon.<br><br>Cuprite had found Raira by that point and a rather humorous exchange took place in which her brother, face impossibly red, tried to ask her if she had laid any eggs recently. Which had, in fact, prompted a rather red face from her as well. They had a rather long conversation about trying to learn how to properly read Pache's frills but that certainly wasn't the only time Cuprite and Pache had misunderstood each other.<br><br>When Raira arrived at the Gladebough Village, she met an incredibly handsome and sweet Imperial Dragon whom she fell instantly in love with. She spent the first few months they were in the village, following him around, trying to impress him with both her physical prowess and intelligence. He didn't seem interested at all at first. He often scoffed silently and turned his nose up at her, walking away. But after months of trying and trying, Raira was a few steps away from giving up on him completely when he actually responded to her.<br><br>"Bercilak! I found a pretty stone while hunting near the river that I wanted to show you." Raira called out, grinning as she dropped the stone at his table, where he was reading a scroll on the history of fighting tactics used by Ice dragons. She half expected him to completely ignore her and was ready after waiting a moment to pick the stone back up and turn away.<br><br>She watched him look up from his scroll, however, head raising just slightly as he looked at the stone. "It is.. very pretty.." He mumbled, glancing her away for the briefest of moments before looking back at his book.<br><br>From then on, Raira never left Bercilak alone and it seemed as though the younger dragon didn't mind. As she walked, however, she heard the roar of a dire claw.<br><br>It swiped at her and she barely managed to dodge out of the way. It felt as if everything moved in slow motion. The leaves in the trees seemed to still as she watched Bercilak leap out in front of her, fighting with the bear. He was severely wounded, but the young dragon did manage to hold his ground against the bear long enough for it to tire of them and run off. Worried, Raira raced to his side.<br><br>"Bercy, are you okay? Oh my goodness... Oh no... What am I going to do.." She cried out, tears streaming down her face. In her mind, his wounds had to be fatal, she just knew it.<br><br>"Calm down, little one..." He replied, his voice soft and even toned. It sounded as if he wasn't even hurt. Which, Raira had to admit had bolstered her mood considerably. Tears still streamed down her face but now, she felt like he would be okay, that it would be okay.<br><br>"Let me go get Cuprite!" She called out, starting to get up. She was stopped by Bercilak, who had grabbed her leg and pulled her back.<br><br>"Stay... He'll come back to check on us and I don't want you to be alone out there..." He grumbled, voice deep and now tinged with obvious pain. Raira could feel her heart breaking for him but she stayed with him, doing what she could. Cuprite did eventually find them and rush to help his sister get Bercilak back to the village for healing.<br><br>Since that moment, a sort of unspoken bond formed between Raira and Bercilak and they became mates despite never asking one another. Because of this incident, Raira spends a lot of her time researching healing salves and healing magic so that she never has to feel that helpless again.</div></div><br><br><span class="bb-b">Catch me on;</span><br><br>FlightRising - HylianRose<br>Pokefarm Q - HylianRoze<br>Discord - Ask!<br></div>
