I will work on that tonight then!

As soon as I get my laptop back, lol. I let a friend borrow it for an assignment but she should be getting it back to me today. But if I don't post tonight that'll probably be why.
@Filthy Mudblood we just need to make sure it is brief because I know some "past" explanations that go on for a while. As long as it's nothing anyone needs to respond to, that's fine.

The only thing that should elicit a response should be posts in the present time of the RP.

Not to say that anyone would, but just covering my bases.
SOON. I just needed to figure out which character I wanted. I'll try getting a post out today or tomorrow. But I have assignment due tomorrow in class and I planned to go out with some friends tonight so, it might not be until later in the week, but I will be getting it up as soon as possible.

What do you guys think about a timeskip to when everyone has already arrived? I.E., ALL characters would wake up in their beds to start the day.
Eva it is then!

@FaithsRose No worries, Beast. I'm getting rather swamped now too, so anyone that did decide to take up my offer would need to be willing to wait weeks at a time for a reply, lol.

I was sort of leaning towards Michael, but then I realized that I play female better anyway so Eva would work out even more for me than a character type like Michael that I hardly ever play. So ye.

I'll move her over later once I get back from class.
Maggie watched the whole encounter curiously, keeping quiet. Her mother had always told her the best way to live in this world was to keep quiet, stay low and off the royals' radar.

When the small girl turned to her and spoke, Maggie still had a hard time accepting the fact that a girl smaller than a flower was real and talking to her. "Ye-" She was prepared to take the girl back to Yato's room when, like a bolt, she ran away. Concerned, Maggie followed her, though it didn't take much on Maggie's part to catch up and she came pretty close to squashing the poor girl with her boots.

Maggie watched as Lux tried her best to get up the flower's stem, failing miserably. She turned her small head and with a dainty face, asked Maggie to help her see the flower. With a sigh, Maggie lower her hand for the girl to climb on. She honestly could get to liking this Lux. She was beautiful like a princess and held the same countenance but her words and actions were very anti-princess-like.

"What is it?" Maggie asked, genuinely curious as she held Lux up over the flower.
@mnkee No worries. I have schoolwork as well, as much as I dread it.

I live in Central GA so ye. I'm close but not close enough for it to matter. I'm only close enough that every single hotel room is booked to the max.

Also, for a second I was going to be like, ayyye I know where that gif is from but it wasn't were I thought it was from. I still know, I just thought it was from something else. Lol.

It's Natasha beating a guy in a boxing ring. I'll have to find the similar scene later.

Found it

@HaleyTheRandom My TV is showing the hurricane hitting southern NC in the future. :\

Here's to the Nat Weather Channel being wrong.

On a good note, it's losing its strength slowly but surely.
I'm on the chatzy today if anyone wants to join me. I'll probably be on all day today. If I don't respond quickly, I'm probably doing something else.

Also, I hope all of you, those on the US east coast, are being safe. Hurricane Matthew is some scary shit.
Henry Peterson III

Interacting with: Feora @mnkee

Henry watched an interesting mix of emotions in Feora's face and smiled. It was nice seeing at least a small spark of authentic feelings in the girl. At least he knew she wasn't a rich daughter robot. Still, he wondered what the sudden switch from happy to angry stemmed from.

"Just good?" He asked, his eyes widening. They weren't just good, they were pretty amazing. Either she was seriously lacking taste buds, or something was up. He was actually hoping for the latter, he could work with the latter. He was also starting to get used to the half-assed smiles she gave him, though he didn't want to be. He had hope that he could turn them into real smiles given time.

His eyes went wide as Feora whispered in his ear much in the same way he did to her. He felt a spark run down the side of his body, not quite like a shiver, but not a tickle either. He fought the urge to turn his body away from her mouth and tried to listen to what she said. However, now he really couldn't keep his eyes off of her lips, the thought of them brushing up against his ear brought a red hue to his cheeks. He swallowed and looked down the ground very suddenly trying to thinking about how to respond without making it completely obvious how flustered he really was by the entire encounter.

Everyone has worth? That is what she said isn't it? Why would she say that? After a sobering moment of thinking about her statement, he turned to look at her, confusion spread across his face.

He wanted to lean in and respond, to let her know that no one deserved the effort it took her to pretend to smile but he didn't really know how to put it into words so he simply stuffed his mouth with another pastry, a pout on his face. "Maybe you'll have to make that for me instead. My mother was a vegetarian so I haven't had much meat. Even when my father's chef makes it, I can't seem to get it down. Maybe if it's you, I might could get it down." He explained, now grinning at her again.

He already wanted to leave this damn party. Maybe he would later... Say hello to a few others before heading in to find his room...

No. He didn't even want to do that much at this point. He glanced over at Cara, before turning back to Feora. "I think I might leave shortly. Unless you have a reason for me to stay?" He explained, asking for her opinion. "I'm not much one for big crowds like this, but I would feel badly if I left and you'd rather me stay and keep you company. I've never done one of these... 'Grand Ball' things so I'm not accustomed to what is happening and what may happen later. Is there dancing? Dinner? Would it be rude of me to leave so soon before meeting everyone? I'm not sure, honestly. But ever fiber of my being hates being here right now."

He sighed, his arms now crossed, his brows furrowed. "I wonder if there's a library. It might be nice to sit in there and read or chat... Maybe I could convince a maid to bring tea..." He pondered, the area between his brows relaxing.
"I'll be right back, James. Mind clocking me out while I take this out?" Claire called out, already removing her apron. She moved towards the back of the store, a large black trash bag slung over her shoulder. She back door closed as the front door opened with Lucas walking in.

The dumpster wasn't too far from the store and Claire quickly threw the bag over the side, the bag hitting the bottom of the metallic container with a thud. She smiled softly and stretched her arms up to the blue and pink sky. The sun was setting and Claire looked forward to the thought of talking with Lucas and watching the sun set over the beach. It felt like a dream, honestly. For a girl who'd spent most of her life in central Georgia, the beach was refreshing and calming and everything she wanted in life.

It was just a moment; a moment in time. Claire would remember it for a while to come. Time seemed to slow down in that moment. Her arms slowly fell back to her side as with a small smile still on her face, she looked over to a teenage boy standing in the center of the road, glaring at nothing in particular.

Her smile faded as her head turned and she noticed the on-coming traffic. Without much thought, Claire bolted for the boy. She felt every pound of her feet hitting the asphalt like it was the pounding of her heart beat. It felt like ages before she finally reached the boy, but it was too late. Just as she grabbed onto the boy, she heard the screeching tires of the car heading for them. Luckily, because the driver stopped in time, the impact was much less. The car slide out of control and the right bumper of the car smacked into Claire's knee. The boy tried to push her away but she held on tight as they both flew to the ground, hitting their heads on the asphalt.

The boy was out cold, a probable concussion, and Claire was barely conscious. She heard people shouting and yelling but it sounded more like listening to people whisper from underwater. She could tell they were yelling, but it sounded so quiet and peaceful. She could see in front of her, but everything was blurry and seemed to be moving very slowly. How many people could she see? 3? 6? She couldn't tell.

She kept drifting in and out of consciousness. At one point she remembered seeing James, another she saw white lights, bobbing up and down, another she saw the same pink sky moving slowly away from her, and then she saw lights looming over her. There she slept, her face seeming peaceful as she laid on the hospital bed. The boy was a few beds down, also sleeping peacefully.
