Current I wonder if it would be worth my while to return to this site. I've had pretty much abysmal luck with games. Wonder if it'll be any different after a couple of years of absence...?!

@Guardian Angel Haruki By the way... My intimidation failed, didn't it?
@Pennydumb123 Tag, you're it.

@Guardian Angel Haruki I'm not sure how close my movement and dash will get me to the camp, going around the difficult terrain. If I'm not close enough to see the scuffle, tell me and I'll edit.
Safira tried following the bear, barreling towards the bandits' camp, but was having less success tearing through the entanglement of vines brought upon by the spell cast by the wood elf. She spied some of the brigands struggling to get free from the entwining plants' grasp, but ultimately failing. Realizing she was making little to no headway she slowed down and looked around, searching for a way out of the entangled greenery. Spotting one she shot off once again at full speed toward the camp. Somewhere at the back of her mind she felt Warren's presence behind her and was at the same time surprised he hadn't escaped and glad he'd decided to follow after her even bound as he was to see to Callie's safety. When this was all resolved they would need to have serious words about his involvement in all of this.

As soon as the huntress was close enough to see what was happening in the camp her blood ran cold. The bear was rushing two of the hoodlums, who held a terrified looking girl between the two of them. One, Safira recognized as the Cap'n of the brigands, who she'd made target practice of, held a scimitar to the child's neck. As the bear clawed at one of the bandits, the huntress drew her own scimitar pulling her life energy from her crossbow and transferring it onto her blade. The bear was trying to place itself between the little girl and the brigands as Safira approached the camp with a blood curdling shout.

"Touch the child and taste my wrath!" She stood tall, filling every inch of her height, eyes burning with resolve and blade crackling with electricity, pointed ominously at the bandits.

Yes... I meant I'll wait for him, but... multitasking
@Guardian Angel Haruki I think that even going around it would still cost me a full round of movement only to get within range for the crossbow or melee. *can't math*

I'll consider my options again after the others have acted
@Guardian Angel HarukiNo, I meant would I need to roll survival to determine if going around the vines would take longer to reach the camp or if it'll get me there faster. Sorry, my wording was kinda unclear.
@Guardian Angel Haruki Would a survival roll be necessary to determine how much that would slow me down, or help me reach the camp faster?

Cuz I was indeed considering it.
@Guardian Angel Haruki No. Gosh, darn it! It was worth a try And if anything... the ranger counts us as the bandits
@Guardian Angel Haruki If Safira takes out her scimitar and starts slashing at the vines jungle style would that help her move faster at all? Or would slashing at the vines slow her down as effectively as the vines themselves?
