 Whelp, here's where you learn a little bit about me whether you like it or not. Hi! You can call me Effie or ineffable or basically whatever you'd like but welcome to my little corner of the guild! I've been here for about 5 years, starting on my adventure in roleplaying in a free roleplay and moving my way up towards more high casual roleplays, which is what I'm working on right now. You can find me a lot in Slice of Life roleplays and every so often in Fantasy or Sci-fi. As for a little bit about me: I love 80s era movies and music and play an inhumane amount of video games. I am also kind of low key addicted to Dungeons and Dragons and a total bookworm with a favoring towards contemporary fiction. Skylar notices the heavily armored woman that enters the Cafe and instantly goes over to her, forgetting about her conversation with Jameson.
"Hey there, warrior, Welcome to the Adventurer's Quest Stop and Cafe. How may I help you?" She asks, looking the woman up and down. She looks scary if not hauntingly beautiful and brave. Skylar mentally prepares the weapons for the Activity Centre and wishes to herself that her fighting skills aren't that rusty.
Laina slowly takes a seat at the table. She barely looks at who sits beside her for fear of their powerful gazes, so she flips open her healing book and takes in the words. She does hope that someone would talk to her but is afraid of what they would think. She flips through another page of her book before she glances up at the people seated at the table, she drifts her gaze from one person to another. "Greetings, my name is Laina. How were your days, may I inquire?" She inwardly cringed at how weird the greeting sounded but she couldn't take it back. She looked back down at her book, pale cheeks lighting up with a blossom pink.
Gus The Assassin
Gus walks through the tight crowd around Rheoden's center stage in the city centre. He blends in easily, wearing a hooded black cloak and some sneakers. To anyone who would've looked like one of the black cape boys that frequently roamed the neighborhood. But he was not. And under the shadows of his cape he smiles a malicious, cunning smile that could send anyone into shivers. No one was yet to stop him and he would soon find his boss and get the proper payment for a job well done.

@xChrome @cloudystarAs soon as Skylar hears Quiton's suggestions she blushes. She was so stupid to be offering a job to this...person she barely knew. She gave herself a mental face palm and turned to Quinton, giving him a thank you smile. "I think Quinton is right and I'm so sorry for my quick decisions, not to offend you Jameson but maybe if you would like to tell us a bit about yourself, give us your ID for inspection and possibly show off your fighting skills, just in case we need an emergency bouncer, in the Activity Center?" Skylar blushes all through the explanation and gives a shy smile, taking a sip from her coffee and shifting in her seat, fidgeting with her hands under the table.
@DriveEMOut When Samuel stood up, Angelia was surprised. She found herself grabbing for air as he went to sit in another seat, reloading his flintlocks. She could just swear that she saw a flash of sadness and vulnerability in his eyes before it was gone, replaced again by his calculating gaze. She sighs and decides to take a small nap. When they reach their destination she follows Samuel out and tries to match his pace as he comes to a stop outside her father's door. He looks back at her once, a look filled with emotions before he enters. She frowns and comes to the guards stationed outside his room.
"I'm going in." She warns them and bursts into the room, interrupting their conversation
