Personality: Introverted, calculated, silent - but not shy. Watches and reads people and situations very carefully. Highly intuitive, he has been known to manipulate people into doing things they otherwise wouldn't. His humour is dry. His eyes are cold. But rumour has it he experiences emotions very intensely, and is capable of caring almost too deeply. But this is just hearsay...
Backstory: Darien Ephraim's past is shrouded in mystery. He has no friends, no surviving relatives to speak of. Only those he works for really know anything about him. He sold his expertise in the bow and arrow and the crossbow, as well as stealth tactics, to the Swadia's military in exchange for a modest amount of wealth and a few acres of out-of-the-way land. But some say he was actually born in Vaegirs or Rhodoks. many of those also say he is on the run from those governments. However, only he is certain of the level of truth or falseness in those claims. He has been in service to King Hariaus and his royal family for almost a decade. Those closest to Darien Ephraim, such as fellow Swadia military or intelligence personnel he encounters every once in awhile, refer to him as "D'ren."
Skills: Stealth, archery, people-reading, martial arts from many of the various territories, horseback riding, swordsmanship, close-quarter combat including daggers, poisoning, lock-picking, pick-pocketing, one-on-one diplomacy (not good with groups), war strategy (specifically dealing with deception), deception.

Arming Sword (though he has been known to collect many blades).
Other: There is gossip that he has a grotesque scar running across his face, and thus Darien Ephraim is nearly always hooded or masked, especially in public.
