Iracebeth — Roleplayer Guild

Magnolia hasn’t expected to feel the strange chill of someone’s eyes on her, but she knew that…something…was in the wind. 
Maybe she was just being paranoid, but she could swear that someone was watching her. 

She shrugs it off, feeling no need to concern herself. Honestly, there was no sense of danger that came with it, so there didn’t seem to be a reason to be anxious. Unless of course, she would run into him. 

Very rarely does Islwyn work in the same areas as her, but their paths did occasionally cross. It drove her mind to insanity, never know when to be on guard. 

Muricle bumps her knee slightly and she turns to look down at him, her hair moving around her like a curtain as she chuckles, “Alright, alright you’re right dear.” She hums, patting his head gently, “You are too involved in my worries.” She says softly as almost an after-thought. 

Muricles small croaks sound out in a strand, almost as if he is laughing. 
“Oh hush you,” she whispers in a tease before turning to the lagoon. She was appointed to the Northern lagoons of the world, and usually finished her duties in a few hours with time to go to the market. 

“Practice your swimming as I am away, yes?” She orders as Muricle stares at her for a while before hopping into the lagoon. Magnolia scoffs a light laugh, diving into the lagoon, the first out of 246 lagoons she was meant to help build homes for the new incoming creatures. 

She forms an air bubble around her wings, water encasing her as she swims down, starting to form small hollow mud homes, adding extra holes for windows and small pits for the eggs to go.

Appearance

Anastasiya is 5’5, with a relatively thin figure with some muscle in her arms, mostly in her legs. She has dark brown hair that could be confused as black that reaches down to her mid waist. She has large eyes that are an oak brown and look as if they belong in a Tim Burton film. She is usually seen wearing wide legged jean and a baggy cropped shirt that is a dark earthy tone. Ana has black fingerless gloves that she is never seen without and a few tattoos that are scattered across her body, her favorites being a moth on her forearm, dragons on her collarbone, flames that crawl up her leg, and a gothic looking sword going down her spine.

Characteristics

Ana is a quiet girl, textbook head case. She often is found staring up at the sky, as if freedom is a rare sight and the sky holds endless amounts of it. 
When she does speak, it is light and airy, and usually in a whisper. Very rarely does she ever yell.

She will absentmindedly pick at the skin around her nails and knuckles, usually leaving them red and occasionally bloody. 
She messes with her hair a lot, she wants to cut it off, but has only ever thought about it, never taking action. 

Ana loves anything to do with fire, she is often seen with a cigarette or even just a matchstick in her mouth. 

She usually doesn’t blink, afraid that is she does, she will end up back in her childhood home, having escaped only been a dream. 

Ana always has a matchbox on her. She craves the light that the matches bring

Goals and Aspirations

Her only goal had been accomplished when she was 15, that being to escape her parents and run to London. Since then, she has lived day by day. 

CV

She had previously worked in a small antique shop called ‘Trinkets’ that was owned by an older woman, Wanda. Her job was to deal with problematic customers, who usually just left after she outright stared at them in disgust at their behavior.

Crime

She committed ‘minor’ arson to a business beside Trinkets, burning part of the building down. She has also committed small acts of theft, but she hasn’t been caught for that.

Background

Anastasiya grew up on the countryside in an unknown country. It was a nice enough area, with a good school, good neighbors. Although Ana never did meet any of them. She was a prisoner in her own house, her parents keeping her to homeschool and shape how they want.
 They pushed her, more than what was healthy, berating and screaming at her if she failed. At five years old, Ana was taught that emotions and empathy made her weak, and if she cried, she was told to be logical, and sent down into the cellar as the most severe punishment, next to waterboarding. The darkness overtook her, and though she tried to make up melodies and hum to distract herself, figures would always take shape in the corner of her eye, humanoid creatures, their whispers muffled by the blood that would rush in her ears. 
She tried to grow accustomed to it, but the need for light always stuck with her. When she turned 18, she finally had enough, packing what she could, she snuck out of her house and ran, as far as humanly possible without stopping.
She made it to a train, left and never once looked back. She was later found living in an alleyway by a kind older woman by the name of Wanda. She took the young girl in, housing her and giving her a job at the small antique shop she owns. 
After two years of working there, another business popped up, a thrift store, and the owner was…less than kind. He began to spread rumors of Wanda and her shop, and one day, Ana had enough, taking her matches and sneaking into the building at night, dropping a match in a window and running off. Of course, she was caught, and refused to say anything except that she was guilty for the crime. She did not call Wanda, and since she couldn’t produce any identification, nothing traced back to the kind woman. 
She was once more, trapped in a fuckall situation.

Power

Hemokinesis and Neural Impulse Manipulation: Anastasiya has the power to manipulate blood and pain waves in peoples nervous systems. These abilities can occasionally come in handy, but when they are not well practiced, can be incredibly dangerous. When she is angry or finds something to be overwhelmingly unpleasant, this can lead to others feeling as if their nerves and veins are trying to rip out of their bodies. If she uses her powers too often and for too long, her eyes and nose begins to bleed and she looses consciousness. 

Skills and Abilities

Drawing: She picked up sketching when Wanda gifted her a sketchbook, seeing how the young woman would doodle on scrap paper. Her drawing style is a mix of realism with some exaggerated features.

Violin: This along with a few other instruments were part of what her parents had her learn, but the only one she really enjoyed or excelled at was the Violin, which she continued to play when she got to London

Medical Knowledge: She has studied medical textbooks and learned much about first aid and surgical techniques since she was a young girl, as usual, it was per order of her parents. But she never forgot how to utilize her skills. 

Savate: Savate is a French hybrid martial art that combines principles of western boxing with a wide variety of kicking techniques. This was taught to her by her father who wished for her to not be so weak.
