I'm a fuckin' weeb, but one of my great-grandparents was Japanese and a Japanese can't be a weeb by definition so...

Well I wasn't planning to kill her. Traumatize and try to radically twist her worldviews but she'll live. Coincidentally I'll have the CS doe for my second character who will be a proper Magical Girl, a freshfaced Kohai whose new to this, dreadfully shy, but with a passion to use her powers for goodness!

So I'll get to enjoy both ends of the moral spectrum as we go forward :3

Oh I appreciate that, but I must say that I don't mind character death as long as it makes an awesome story, so I'm a fan of dramatic deaths, but not one for "lol sudden death out of nowhere, so random and tragic, right?" kind of deaths.

However, I agree, I think doing horrible shit without killing the character is far more fun and interesting than a simple "off with their head".
Inspired by Bonnie’s story beats, I mused about Lucette and found a couple points that’d be interesting to explore with her:
-The nature of Good vs Evil: Is there really such a thing? Does everyone deserve to be rescued? What about people like Hitler or Ivan the Terrible? If there’s a situation where she can only save one life over the other, on what moral grounds would she make her decision? Is it better to try and fail at saving both because the intent is what matters?

-Religious Fanaticism: Lucette is a devout Christian, she believes that Jehovah is real and the only true path to eternal salvation is through Christ, but over the century, she has encountered other magical girls whose powers derive from legends - that if true - will mean Jehovah is not the only supreme creator being and that Jesus isn’t the only way to salvation. It’s difficult to argue against facts after all, these “heathen” magical girls very much exist, she can perceive them with her senses.

-World Weariness: Perhaps a part of Lucette’s motivation is just to save her mother and no one else. Now that her mother has peacefully passed, it has an effect on her, even though she may not realize it herself.

And for these ones, they relate more with external factors instead of Lucette’s internal conflicts:
-The Malakhim: For most people, when they hear the word ‘angel’, they’ll think of heavenly beings that’s the epitome of all that’s holy, just, and good. However, it’s also true that Satan is an angel too, a fallen one, once named “Lucifer”, The Lightbringer, the one tasked by the Lord to lead his kin. If even the brightest of light among them can turn to darkness out of pride and hubris, what does this mean for Sefirot? A Grimoire that embodies all angels.

-Roma Bhakti: Now I won’t claim to know what exactly does @Lonewolf685’s character have in plan for Lucette, and honestly I’d like to keep it that way. However, if it helps us (as in Lonewolf and I) write an interesting plot, I’m willing to plan things out with you, OOC cooperation so that the IC can go smoothly. I’m a writer that embraces my characters getting hurt/traumatized/maimed and other ICly horrible shit, conflicts drive a story and no pain, no gain.

Of course, these are just spitballing and the reality may or may not turn out differently, that’s the beauty of organic IC development~
I figure that Lucette, Bonnie and Wilhelmina would make for a good team! Or at least that is how I planned it in my mind. Come to think of it, do Magical Girls prefer to work alone or in teams? Because Wilhelmina is best when she is a part of one, due to her lack of offensive abilities.

Most Magical Girls work in teams as it's outright encouraged by the Grand Ministry. Only the truly stubborn ones like Alters tend to work alone, though also with Ministry observation.

I love the delicious irony in that Wilhelmina is an Alter whose primary ability is supporting others.
A new piece has been added to the CS tab. Anyone who cares, can check it there on the 0th post.

And here I thought Ozma, Lucette, and maybe Roma(?) will be old hags, looks like they’ll be spared from that title.

No one can out-baba Merlin unless someone apps a Himiko, Cleopatra, or Ishtar, for better or worse.

Well Roma, henceforth known under the Magical name Moonlight Tsubasa, is obviously an antagonistic character whose ultimate goal is a most desirable conclusion to the careers of active Magical Girls. But she’s less Stain from MHA and more Hellgirl, cultivating them from afar to the peak of heroism before devouring them. Metaphorically.

And given she’s someone they want forgotten she’s not known on sight as a threat. So she or an intermediary would be found spending a long time watching girls at the food court in the hopes one peeks her interest.

While she doesn’t outright hunt the Pageless she’s liable to follow magical girls out on missions and intervene to help them to establish a rapport as she gets to know them.

Currently her eye is on Lucette as the Sempai energy is super strong with her.

Ooooh, another good parallel to her would be PMMM’s Kyuubey. I propose “Tsuki Tsubasa” for a full Japanese nickname and neat alliteration.

Hey, paws off the sempai, Kitsune Kyuubey. >:[
Great! Looking forward to it.

Hmmm, now that you put it like that, I might as well say what has been on my mind in regards to @The 42nd Gecko’s Lilac.

The way I see it, Lucette - being a veteran senpai figure - can help Bonnie with three of her Story Beats, particularly:
-The Grand Ministry
-Two Worlds
-The King’s Court

And as far as teams go, my vision of Lumiere is that she’s a Jack of All Trades sort of magical girl, representing her Grimoire the embodies the various types of Malakhim (Guardian, Warrior, and Messenger). She can attack, defend, and support in equal measure, however, a specialized magical girl will be more effective at their specialization than her, even if they possess lower-ranked Grimoires.

Combined with Lucette’s mentor archetype, she can be trusted to fit with any sort of party, supporting where they lack the most and filling in any role should a member goes down or unavailable for whatever reason.

@Izurich

Rumor has it you can gain all answers and more if you wish upon a crimson star.

But I don't wanna, that'd destroy the magic via self-spoiling like an idiot.
Read about Ozma~

Hmmm... considering the original Wizard of Oz novel was published at 17th May 1900, that'd mean at her oldest, Charlotte is logically 2 decades older than Lucette at most. However, whatever the truth is, don't tell me, the reason being related to my following point below.

I won't lie that I'm mighty curious about what her abilities actually are, however, to respect her theme as the Wizard of Oz, I'll not even ask. The most exciting part about this particular figure is not knowing what actually went on behind the scenes after all.

and lastly, I'm just going to drop this here, for her:

@Villamvihar

I like the fact she's connected to @Izurich's Lumiére. Her powers are also much better structured, placing her more as a support Magical Girl with room to grow on those abilities. Overall, she's accepted by me. Await @KoL's opinion.

On another note to everyone, I've finished my own character. She can be found in the first post in the Character Tab.

Yeah~ we decided that it'd be neat if an angel rescued Wilhelmina just like how an angel rescued the Flying Dutchman's Captain, and just as coincidence would have it, Lumiere is an 'angel', or the closest thing we have to one, close enough tho!

And nice, going to read your CS now.

As Valeriya glanced at her roommate, the Ruski would see Lucretia being focused on arranging her stuff while the floating drone handled the larger, heavier objects. As twas' a mere brief glance, Lucy would no doubt still be doing the same activity by the time the blonde turned her attention elsewhere. In fact, it wasn't until an hour or so later that the younger of the pair left the study and for the first time since she arrived here, Schwarzritter wasn't following her around. The steel golem was left inside the study in its compact form, allowed to rest for the day. As for its mistress, she entered the bathroom instead and soon enough, the rustling of clothes could be heard which was followed by the flow of water filling a ceramic tub.

Moments later, the bath was ready in the form of warm steaming water sloshing within a man-sized container. Lucretia dipped herself into it, exhaling at that heavenly sensation of liquid warmth caressing against her bare skin. Due to her slight frame, the tub was a wee bit too large for her especially as she sat inside it, but it had the positive side effect of allowing her to straighten her legs with no issue and she had perfectly adjusted the amount of water too, reaching just above her collarbone. "..." The German girl blinked a few times, watching her long silver locks floating on the bathwater before she slowly closed her eyes and rested her head against the side of her tub.

"Haa...." A long exhale escaped her throat as she realized just how tired she was, it had been a long, stressful day. Not only she had to socialize with people, lots of people, but there was that bit with the glass shards too. That's fine though, today was an exception since it's for orientation, surely they wouldn't be having feasts throughout the school year. Starting tomorrow, she could focus on her studies, projects, and tasks, and that thought comforted the young girl's mind even as the warmth soothed her body.

..........
.....
...

"...nngh?" Pale eyelids fluttered open to reveal drowsy emerald irises, ah... it seemed she had fallen asleep there even though she had only planned to rest her eyes for a bit. "Tch..." Fortunately, this wasn't a major setback, merely a little slip of the mind, that's all. Huffing, Lucy got herself up from the bath, pulled the drain plug, then grabbed a towel.

Minutes later, the Iron Princess stepped out of the bathroom, her signature beret and uniform nowhere to be seen on her frame, instead she was wearing a one-piece black frilly dress, a fine garment clearly designed for sleepwear. Whether her golden-haired roommate was already asleep or not, Lucy wouldn't disturb her as she simply plod over to the one of the king-sized beds at her half of the room, settle into the duvet, lay on her side, then close her eyes to slumber, this time on a proper furniture.
