B-but moosic. Might throw Zephyr into the forest.
@InertiaThanks! Will be posting some time today.
About to pass out, but I take it my character will be taking the non-specific first floor class since Darkness is disallowed? Gonna write my post in the morning.
Zephyr Heidrich

Name Meaning: Zephyr (Soft gentle breeze) Heidrich (Derives from Heidenreich. "Heidan" as in heathen, and "Reich" as in power.)

Age: Fifteen

Height: 5'8"

Element: Darkness

Personality: Calm, collected, and painfully blunt, Zephyr is your textbook example of a stoic. Although he experiences emotions to an extent like the human being he is, the boy has a problem expressing his reactions on the physical plane. Due to this complexional hindrance many find it impossible to get a read on the kid, a feat that has been achieved by only two souls. In a world full of vibrant hues and natural wonders, juxtaposed to all of these features Zephyr is chalked up as quite dull. He makes up for his taciturn demeanor with subtle actions, much like his name would imply. Faint, almost to the point where it's unnoticed.

But it may not be his personal predisposition as the sole agent of this reticent individual. The abrasive flak Zephyr continually received upon the conception of his abilities more than remarkably contributed to his current demeanor. Humans are a hive-minded race by default. Following the leader and playing in tune are fundamental constituents of their nature. When one falls out of line or shows a potential to cause the foundation to crumble, the unlucky individual is instantly blasted with animosity. Derision is something Zephyr knows all too well. But rather than succumbing to words laced in hatred, he stands his ground and maintains tenacious stature. Actually, he repurposes these prickling words as a drive. A sign that things must be changed. But change isn't taken in stride naturally. It must be propagated, and like a fire, kindled.

History: Disappointment. Despair. Isolation. Repulsiveness. Disgust. Scorn. Distrust. Helplessness. Scorn. Fear. The destructive desires that lie at the height of these feelings, innately built into the mind. Hope.

A nomadic life is one full of struggle and uncertainty. But it also teaches the soul discipline and self-sufficiency. When he was ousted from his household at an unripe age due to the revelation that soon befell his family, Zephyr was forced to learn how to preserve his well-being. Luckily before the time the infrangible bonds with his family were severed, the boy was well educated on the how-to's to surviving in the wilderness.

The boy soon found himself in an endless loop of distress. Not of his own, but of those who came to realizations. He felt like an orphan thrust from one foster to another. The agricultural outskirts of towns a ways off from the renowned academy housed many kind souls. But once Zephyr's hosts found out about his element, courtesy of its free-spirited nature, he would soon face the all too familiar embrace of a front door slammed against his side. By trial and error, mostly the latter, the young soul soon concluded that an itinerant lifestyle was his best option.

Aside from venturing into rural towns to market off small game, Zephyr resided wherever people were not. His surroundings were serene, especially at night time. Even though he was enveloped in darkness, rays of the moon's light always fell upon him, as if they were envoys reaching out to him.

By the time he reached the age of twelve, things had taken a drastic turn. Even though he had already come to resolution of bringing about change at this juncture, change had seemed to reach him first. Two souls entered his life. Intertwined to the point where their heartbeats could be mistaken as one, but they harbored enough contrasting characteristics to set themselves apart from one another. Runaway sisters. People who had also fallen off the beaten trail. At first they were apprehensive of Zephyr, and the same applied likewise. But soon enough a dynamic trio formed. It was mostly the older sister who steered the other two in the direction she saw fit. Yet on more occasions than one Zephyr put in his own input and may have influenced her decisions. After all, it was still a rare sight for the kid to pipe up. After some time, the trio migrated to the city life. They found a niche for themselves, scored reliable jobs and turned a new leaf. All three of them had peculiar abilities that deviated from the norm. It became clear that they would have to seek out a haven of sorts, and the academy fit the criteria.

For official documentation, this was Liferusher AKA Yui's 4000th post. May this be forever recorded in the archives of time and space.

N'ways, also interested in the RP. Currently out of the house, so I'll read up and devise a character when I'm back. Torn between magma and darkness (if possible/enough slots open), since I already have a character written around the latter. But magma hasn't been touched upon yet... Decisions (´;ω;`)
@Lonewolf685Heroes never die. They're just on another battlefront. But hand chops are pretty deadly.
@Mega BirbMay he rest in coffee beans.
Shiro Kawabata

”So, if Cassandra’s Pandora’s Box, then does that make you the “Hope” inside of her, Eris?” Shiro asked after he had followed the flow of conversation in utter silence, all the while he kept tabs on crucial points that trickled from every member’s mouth. His hand had remained raised throughout the dialogue and had only been unfrozen now to grab his cup with it, since Eris had pledged sovereignty. He had definitely foreseen this outcome, but he didn’t expect her response to be thrown like such a powerful curveball. Before taking a sip, he glanced over to Cassandra, ”Oh, right, sorry about referring you to O’Shera. Didn’t know you felt so strong about the disparity in value between your first and last name. I end up calling people by what clicks with me. Kinda like how I’m tempted to call Aaron over here Doki-Doki Badass after that friend of his stopped by. It’s a quirk of mine, my deepest apologies. You’re now listed as Cassandra in my mental contact list henceforth.”

He gave an affirming nod to appease the redhead then leaned over to his American acquaintance and spoke in a hushed tone, ”I’m rooting for you. Welcome to the battlefront.” Shiro gave him a thumbs up accompanied by an almost expression of encouragement. Tying back the conversation he alone had undone, the boy fixated his sight on Eris and stared deeply into her vermillion irises. Silence drowned out the ambience as it floated through the air that enveloped the table, in wait of a revivifying spark to strike. ”Erm… well… I-I think around thirty-five…?” Shiroo openly queried while he pressed a finger against his chin and looked up to the ceiling, as if a finite number of total casualties was going to descend from the heavens. ”Wait, wait… thirty-four. You incapacitated one player with the force given off after you swung your sword alone, if I read the report correctly… Maybe Drauni exaggerated some of the details. Still pretty impressive though!” He took another refreshing sip of the bitter beverage before he proceeded and locked eyes yet again, ”As plausible and extremely effective Lina's approach is, it’s hard to dissuade the heart once it has come to an ultimate decision. That’s not to say that your way is better, Eris. Personally, I think your departure would be more remotely close to a thorn being taken out of the Strykers’ side rather than a receptacle to coalesce their hatred and toss it all into in one big bang. Now that the thorn that could have been a vital reinforcement has become anything but that, the guild will now merely focus on bolstering its defense rather than chase down a powerhouse that has struck out on her own."

Shiro reclined in his chair and threw back his arms, ”Hester Prynne was abhorred by her townspeople for committing the sin of adultery. But after time and a crap ton of perseverance, she was soon revered for her good deeds in spite of the concentrated animosity she had to stave off all of those years. Yet I'm not in a position to chastise your decision. You do you, girl. So instead…” The boy grinned as suddenly shot up like an overly caffeinated liger and stood tall on his seat, playing off the fact that he almost fell forward onto the table in the process. He clenched his hand into a fist, giving off the image that he was charging up his chakra. The ball of condensed energy sliced through the air and turned into a pointed finger, ”ERIS REINHARDT! I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK IN YOUR FUTURE ENDEAVORS AND I HOPE YOUR DINNER TASTES SUPEEEEEEEEERB!!!” Shiro hoped that was succinct enough.

Well. That was something. The student definitely didn’t fail in drawing the attention of every single sentient being in the general vicinity. Even the cashier had yet to sidekick him into the next century, frozen behind the counter. Still upright, the boy then looked over to Cassandra, ”Oh, right, Cassandra. I presume you’re having dinner with Eris, so same goes for you too. Don’t sink my ship.” With that, Shiro primly lept down from his provisional pedestal and flashed the two a parting smile. The bunny sewn into his eye patch seemed to be especially happy, ”If either of you two ever need to chat in a cordial manner IRL or IG, just hit me up. Gonna get some more joe. Lina, Aaron, I’ll BRB.” He began to make his way over to the cashier, who had remained awestruck by his display.

Finally no longer deeply engrossed in his conversation, Shiro took note of the sudden increase in idiosyncrasies in the area. Sure, no doubt the mall was a hotspot. Purple Crown Academy uniforms were easily discernible among the crowd of buyers, yet there were also more than just a few outliers present. Perhaps the jamokes with the medical masks were the ignition to a flash mob, and that dog of theirs was going to be a beast on the dance floor. A light chuckle escaped his lips at the thought, though he honestly wanted to fly in at light speed and submerge himself in that canine’s coat. He also spotted Emma and one of the individuals he had noted earlier in the midst of a hastened escape. Was his magical eye deceiving him? Was this the legendary love triangle of angst coming into fruition! Soon, the prophecy would be fulfilled! A girl who especially stood out strode by the table and was probably set on procuring one of the many delicacies offered here.

And there was also a cat.

”...I should come here more often.” He commented aloud before a hand chopped his head with the wrath of a thousand young suns.

”DON’T STAND ON THE CHAIRS!”
