Ever make a mistake so bad, that it hurts every time you just think of it? Ever wish you could go back in time and fix everything so you didn't hurt the one who matters most? Yeah, me too.

Do not go gentle into that good night
By: Dylan Thomas

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

@VitaVitaAR Post made, apologize for it being short but I am still a bit sick!

Whatever attention that the Hundi had on the conversation before was gone the moment she heard movement in the trees. The ears atop her head flickered, even as the previously shy temperament seemed to melt away. Instead, replaced an alert, tensing figure as she shifted her gaze towards the source of the sounds that assaulted her ears. Small bits of fur stood up on her tail and ears, as Runa's eyes opened widely in time with Gerald's mention of the company. A hand slowly drifted to the sword at her side, resting upon its hilt. Should their new 'friends' choose to attack, the young Knight would be ready to strike in a mere moment. "I heard them moving, can't tell how many there are." She hissed quietly, gaze never moving from the enemy hidden in the trees. Despite her attentions shifting towards the Captain to hear the orders that would be coming in regards to the company...
@VitaVitaAR Got it! I've been real sick the past few days so I'll try to slap out something >.<

Noticing one of the male knights waving her in, Runa's ears pinned down against her head for the briefest of moments. A display of her embarrassment from being noticed. Still, the man seemed to be keeping quiet and not like he was about to harass her over her tardiness. So perhaps she could count her blessings, for now. Spurring Fenrir forwards, the Hundi quickly caught up with the rest of the group. She took a place next to the man who had waved her in and offered a sheepish smile and a soft word of thanks towards him for not making all that much of a scene. Her attentions turned back towards their destination, her mind still at a complete loss for why they would be at Shrine of all places. Weren't they out to hunt some mercs or something? She didn't recall hearing anything about Shrines in her mission briefing. Though... to be fair, it had been a bit since the briefing. The girl admitted that she could've forgotten some details from that initial briefing. Scarcely detailed as it had been.

Soon after, a voice from her left flank caused the young Hundi to jump lightly. Whipping her head over in that direction, the girl let out a soft sigh of relief to find it was another knight. He introduced himself and the one who had waved her into the group, the girl nodding softly in response. "Aye, I am. A pleasure to meet you both." She said softly, opting to error on the side of being overly polite in this first meeting. After all, first impressions could truly be everything when it came to such close-knit groups. Runa gave an embarrassed smile towards the man after hearing his questions, shaking her gently. "I wasn't told much, just where to go to meet you all. Would you mind catching me up?" She asked softly, turning her gaze back towards the shrine after she asked that question. In the next moments, she watched a couple of figures step out into view. Eyes widened as she wondered if they were going to fight, yet in the next moments seemed in conversation with the leader of their group. "Who's that?" Runa whispered softly, unable to place the face.

Satyr? Zeus? Demigods? Seriously, the longer people talked the more convinced Ryley was that she had actually been dragged into some weird-ass cult of the Greek Gods. Who in the hell believed that a bunch of old ass people lived at the top of mountains and could chuck around lightning bolts and stuff? Seriously. Ryley shot a look that could only be described as daggers towards the Satyr, surely just some weirdo in cosplay, and was about to bite his head off about not needing any sort of propaganda when she noticed a strange, golden glow on the ground around her. Slowly, her head tilted as she shifted her gaze upwards and her eyes grew wide at the sight of the glowing thunderbolt above her head. How the hell were they doing that!? Stood in slight shock for a few moments as another fact slowly dawned upon the girl, her mind thinking much more clearly since she had been shocked out of rage. The rainstorm that had seemingly set in on the camp as she had approached, hadn't truly set in on the camp at all. Instead, the raging storm hovered just above her own head, a small enough cloud to be a personal storm.

Her attention was stolen from the Satyr, eyes wide and the emotions from earlier fleeing the girl's body. Instead replaced by shocked silence and a look of curiosity about it all. Intrusive thoughts shot through her mind, racing to the forefront without even a hint of resistance. Thoughts she would've considered impossible, the things of mere fantasy were it even twenty seconds ago. Yet... perhaps... could this not have been some weird cult? As she was lost in this myriad of thoughts about what might be true, what might not be true, the girl silently raised her hand towards the cloud above. Curiously, as if with a mind of its own, the storm reacted to her movements. A small funnel cloud spun up, reaching down to touch lightly to the girl's fingers as if it read her intentions to touch the clouds. Moments later, small tendrils of lightning shot down from the cloud and danced along her fingertips. Yet... they didn't hurt. If anything they felt energizing, and Ryley's eyes opened wide in shock. Moments later, the cloud disappeared. At that same moment, a wave of exhaustion slammed into the young Demigod, causing her to stagger. As if that storm had taken everything out of her, as if she had been controlling it.

Her attention shifted back towards the Satyr, the look of rage from before washed away completely. As quickly as the storms controlled by her father could change, so too had her entire demeanor. Now, she wore a look of curiosity and determination. Clearly, she had decided that she would be discovering the answers to the questions dancing along her mind, and this poor Satyr would be the one to answer. As she started to make connections between the concept that perhaps the Greek Gods were real, and all the strange things that had happened throughout her life, Ryley found herself starting to believe. To believe that just maybe, what this boy had said might have an inkling of truth. A deep breath was drawn as Ryley focused on the boy, leaving another tense moment before she finally spoke once more. A calmer, friendly tone, instead of the one burning with anger from before. "Alright, Sawyer." She said finally, shaking her head as if to ward off any disbelief over the situation. "Say I believe you, even a little bit. How in the hell does this place exist, how have we not heard of these Greek Gods, and... I've got a lot of questions. You sure you're up to help me understand?" She asked, at last, her gaze asking him as much of the question as did her words.

Even as she asked that another strange sensation came over the young woman. For the first time in... perhaps her whole life, Ryley truly felt at ease. Safe. For the first time, she didn't feel as if there might be something dangerous lurking around the corner. She was safe, she belonged here. Interesting.
Runa fights VERY aggressively and fast-paced. Basically, she goes in and keeps up the pressure until her enemy breaks, or makes a mistake, then rips them a new one. She's ALL aggro. She also can, and will, engage in hand-to-hand if she has to.
He's a complimentary fella, that boy—

One of my main commandments of writing Gerard is that he almost always holds his peers in extremely high regard, speaking as glowingly of them as he speaks humbly of himself

Friendly dude, once you put aside the Doomguy impression in combat.

Oh we doing pure aggression combat? Thats Runa's stuff :3
