@Ghost Shadow He could always end up on Jedha before it gets blown to smithereens in a few years lol I'm making Kit pretty neutral. She sees the Jedi and the Rebel alliance as terrorists but sees the Empire as a dictatorship that needs to be stopped. So, which is the lesser of two evils? I don't think she's decided yet. Someone could probably sway her.

@Burning Kitty I think both of them have potential. What I would say, is make sure that they don't become caricatures. What I mean by that is, the Jedi with Mandalorian armor. I love the idea, just make sure that it can fit into a story. There is a lot that can be told by a Jedi in Mandalorian armor, trust me, especially if she meets any Mandos, other that Boba Fett (who isn't a Mando).

I also don't have an issue with the other character, just make sure to remember that kyber crystals are sentient in their own right. Sith crystals aren't red because they found red crystals somewhere. Sith/Dark side crystals are red because kyber is naturally in tune with the light side of the force. So, when a darksider uses a blue/green/etc lightsaber to kill out of anger, or fear, or any other dark emotion, the crystal begins to bleed. When the crystal bleeds, the saber blade takes on a red hue. So, your character would need to have done some nasty stuff, and it would need to be said for sure to flesh her out.

Other than those things, the rest looks okay, to me. It's a character sheet, not a character requirements sheet. So, with development, most of the character sheet can originally change, anyways. So, I'll say accepted for either of them...though the second one is a little more intriguing to me.

A sharp clank woke Kitah'ra from a deep sleep. As her eyes shot open, she bolted up to see a small creature attempting to drag her helmet away. This was nearly every morning, it seemed. If she couldn't find a better place to sleep, she would end up killing everyone in this disgusting city. Pulling her cane from the backpack next to her makeshift bed, she swung, sharply striking the tiny squeaker, causing it to fly through the door of the tiny hut.

"Stupid mongrels...", she grumbled, flipping her helmet up and onto her head. She flipped the switch, powering up the speaker system and rangefinder, and rose from her bed. Her body was sore, more than she had ever been. The city was in a state of panic, and she couldn't quite put her finger on why. However, the citizens were definitely on edge, and violent. Stealing was difficult. Simply scavenging for broken things was difficult. Groaning, and attempting to scrape some dried blood from her chest plate, Kit threw her backpack onto her back and stepped out of her hut into the busy street.

The people of the city still gave her wide birth. They weren't afraid of her, but they were still weary. Around here, you couldn't tell which Mandalorians were actually from Mandalore, and which were bounty hunters, disgracefully wearing the armor to cover their identity. As she reached the entrance of the Jedi temple, she smiled from beneath her helmet, walking up the small steps, and taking a seat beside an extremely old man.

"Good morning Yomi.", she spoke through her speaker system, causing the old man to raise his head slowly.

"Kitah'ra...what have I told you about that silly mask.", he spoke softly to her, his cane clanking roughly against her cheek. Kit smiled once more and flipped the switch, before pulling the helmet from her head, and sitting it on the floor, "You're more than the sum of your parts. You remember what that means?"

"Yes, sir. But my armor is a part of who I am."

"No. Your armor is a reminder of who you were forced to become. When one gets a second chance at living, and doesn't take that chance to re-evaluate their values, they become lost. The force is all around you. It protects you, much more than this hunk of metal you depend on.", Yomi explained, once again tapping on her armor. This time it was her chest.

"Maybe one day I can see things that way, Yomi...but I'm not ready."

"You'll never be ready until you admit that you have more to you, than a bunch of metal, and blasters. Not everything can be answered by the end of a Westar, you know. The force. It's a powerful tool. It's a powerful teacher. Why do you fight what is all around you, especially here, in this sacred place?", Yomi continued, repeating himself.

"I'm not fighting anything. The Force is your religion...and I respect that, but..."

"No religion. Never a religion. The force is more than that. To some, a religion. To me...it is everything. I am the force. You are the force. The ground is the force. The wind. Everything...", Yomi waved his arms around, and then placed a single finger on Kit's chest, his face twisting into a sweet smile, "The force is in here."

"I'm not force sensitive, or whatever. I just came to have lunch with you, Yomi.", Kit groaned, attempting to quiet him, without offending.

"I am one with the force..."

"And the force is with me.", Kit finished, a smile cracking her own sullen face. Yomi grinned widely, as if he felt he had gotten through to her in some way. He stood with some effort, patting her softly on the cheek, and disappeared into the temple to gather food. Kit simply sighed, leaning against the wall. Did she believe in all of this? Was the temple even worth saving, or protecting? Was there a chance for her to pull Yomi from this place? Probably not. Saying the Force wasn't a religion was like saying the Empire had the people's interest at heart. She scoffed, as she watched the bustle of the people in the street.

@TheUnknowable The only time it's really mentioned in Rebels is when they are going through a list of known Rebel groups. But it has been mentioned off and on that the base was thought to be compromised around the time Leia was captured, and so it had to be abandoned, to keep the Empire from having them in the palm of it's hand.

@Bishop I completely agree with you. I came into Star Wars blind to the timeline, and when I watched the prequels, I was more than a little confused. I think that's the only redeeming quality of the Last Jedi, is that there is not AS MUCH bias. It's even more brutal, as far as the "bad guys" laying waste than Empire Strikes Back, in my opinion. I won't spoil much, but there is still the same old biased writing, but I think admitting that Jedi are basically religious extremists and Rogue One managing to make the Rebel Alliance look like a terrorist organization, is a really good way to try to redeem some of the new canon.

As far as the open RP, there is nothing that says that the characters can't interact or meet. In fact, there's a good chance that since everyone knows of the Empire and what they are doing, as well as the rebels, at some point, characters are going to meet. What I'm attempting to do, is give people as much room to stay away from the parts of the canon they hate, as they can, but I'm pretty firm about my timeline. The main timeline will be set 4ish years before the battle of Yavin...and will lead up to the height of the Empire's hold, around that time.

I would like to get a compiled list together of where everyones characters are, and what party they are in agreement with (Empire or Rebels), so that I can try to see what characters WOULD interact, and how they would interact would be up to the players.

@TheUnknowable Yes. The base would probably be on the verge of being abandoned by now. As of A New Hope (which is about 3ish years after this timeline, if we want to stick to this timeline), the base was abandoned and was used as a decoy by Leia, to guide the Empire away from the base on Yavin. So, there would probably still be some rebels at the base, until it's abandoned and moved to Yavin.

Which you probably know most of this. lol

And I know that is a general consensus for a lot of people. My love for the new canon comes from my involvement with the Mandalorian Mercs, which has become such a huge part of my life, and my sanity. Mandos getting new recognition in the new canon has felt amazing, and made the club seem almost as validated as the 501st seems to be. Mando Mercs have gotten a lot more attention, thanks to Rebels and Clone Wars.
