GHOSTBUSTERS!! WE ARE AFRAID OF NO GHOST!!

The year is 2024 and the world is beginning to recognize the existence of the Paranormal on a global-scale. One organization works on a global scale to find, isolate, and eliminate any sort of paranormal threat that may appear. They are, the Ghostbusters.

Founded in 1984 by Dr. Ray Stantz, Dr. Egon Spengler, Dr. Peter Venkman, and later joined by Winston Zeddimore that same year, "Ghostbusters Paranormal Investigation Inc." (commonly known as Ghostbusters Inc.) was born out of the research conducted by Dr. Spengler and Dr. Stantz while at Columbia University. After perfecting their 'Proton Pack' technology so ghosts could be properly contained, the three Doctors launched the business to help combat the rising supernatural populace of New York City. Zeddimore joined in the weeks that followed the company's sudden success. Soon after Zeddimore's employment, the 'Busters came face-to-face with Gozer the Gozarian, a god who had come to bring about the end of the world. One thing led to another and before the day was won and Gozer was defeated, the 'Busters came face to face with a 50ft Stay-Puft Marshmellow Man that squashed a church and tried to kill them. Although despite technically working for the governments of the world, the Ghostbusters were still publicly reviled and dismissed as part of a cover-up initiative. After all, the United Nations didn't want the world to think that supernatural forces were constantly trying to bring about an end to the world as we know it.

But now, as the 40th Anniversary of the Ghostbuster's establishment arrives, business has picked up quite a bit. Ghost sightings have increased drastically across the world and as such, the government-led parent company, Ghost Corps., finds itself terribly understaffed, practically unable to handle the constant daily barrage of supernatural attacks and disturbances being reported.

So, now only one question remains;

Are you afraid of no ghost?

GHOSTBUSTERS!! WE ARE AFRAID OF NO GHOST!!

In this roleplay you will play a new ghost hunter. There will be all kinds of ghost. Some just intelligent, some demonic, some are residual. Some ghost will be caught. Others just documented. No matter what kind of ghost we are called to investigate or what the own of the property wants done with the ghost the team will treat each case the same. The will investigate the claim and then decide on a course of action depending on the situation.

Be my Sanctuary

Roxy looked up as Jess entered the room. She studied the other woman. It was clear that she hadn't been the only one to have a rough night's sleep. She figured it was because all of the changes in the empath's life. It couldn't be easy to go from living in the boonies to living in the middle of the city.

"Morning. Coffee is about ready." She indicated to the pot. She had no idea what else to say or do. She wasn't used to sharing space with someone. Jess hadn't been demanding which was good but she didn't want the empath to feel like she was a guest. Whether they liked it or not they were stuck with each other for the rest of their lives. The idea scared Roxy. She had never thought she would share her life with anyone. Now she had to find a way to protect a very fragile woman from her past.

Angels Among us

In 2020 teens started sprouting wings. Because humans don't like charge or the unexplained. They hunted the teens until they went into hiding. A few years later an alien race with unknown goals descended upon the earth, easily overwhelming the military of several countries and it seemed they would continue unchecked.

That is until a winged child was attacked, and destroyed an enemy ship with apparent ease, they died in the process but the new information proved vital. The united governments of the world repurposed the arm of the military assembled to hunt and study the angels to capture any that remained to fight the enemy, offering a sanctuary if they survived the war. But even with this offer, can they truly defend a world that hates them so?

Be my Sanctuary

The rest of the evening she rescheduled the jobs that she had for tomorrow so that Jess could visit with her mom as long as she wanted to. Roxy didn't mind. She was used to it. She supposed that Jess was as well. Eventually she called it a night. She locked up the shop before locking up the apartment. Then she went into her room and closed the door. She stripped off her close and tossed them into the laundry before climbing into bed. She hoped that Jess was comfortable.

Roxy tossed and turned all night. Nightmares plagued her. She hoped that she hadn't keep Jess awake. She wasn't used to having to worrying about someone hearing her. She didn't want the other woman to know that she had trouble sleeping. She got up early as usual and got dressed before heading out to make coffee. She never bothered with breakfast. She was never hungry until later in the day.
