While everyone is warring and doing crazy things, I'm going to go be peaceful and get some worshippers if that's okay with GMs

Thulemiz was hurt pretty badly in the battle, his soul ravaged and his mind damaged, and was in a comatose state. He mentally broke Cassios and turned him into his servant by convincing him that he, Thulemiz. was the king of Garakai. Meanwhile, the Silent Six (those six teleporter people under Thulemiz) made some plans. They went off to Ferghus and asked him to repair Rejys (piece of walking armour) who had been injured in the battle with Cassios. Ferghus did so and said that he would make Rejys 'battle-worthy' if they brought him the blade of Chaos. Rejys and the Silent Six agreed, and Thulemiz added that to the divine quests he has (Vestec's one to defeat Ialu and take over Garakhai so as to end the Eternal Night forever, and now Ferghus')

Thulemiz is then interred in a huge throne with a suit of armour on it. He may be comatose, but his (crazed) mind is still working and he is able to communicate mentally, use Wi etc. He tells the Silent Six to move all the people to Sviebard, there's no place for them on Arguilla anymore.
Vowzra goes off to Astarte and offers to help her annoy Escre and Sauranath, and also impress Vestec. She agrees and goes off with him to Thulemiz where they turn him into Lich and his Silent Six into powerful Necromancers. Astarte gets a dress in return, and is promised Thulemiz's soul upon his death.

Thulemiz then sends the Silent Six to harvest Cimex souls while he experiments on 2 of the Dyuns he has and turns them into Ghoul Lords. They are sent off to Sviebard where they begin hunting the human population there and turning them into ghouls.
Thulemiz and Kanros meet and ally with one another. Kanros wants to see Ialu gone, for he sees him as a tyrant. Eventually, they ambush Ialu on his way to Garakai, seize control of his undead and the Battle of Dragon Fall (or the Clash of Gods) ensues, where many dragons die, many souls are harvested and the legendary Episode of Bjorn takes place. Sauranath also curses Thulemiz, causing him to lose his powers, but Vestec soon remedies that and returns to Thulemiz the souls of the Vowzra's Victors. Now he's on his way to Garakai.

Temporarily to an end.

Temporarily = a day or two XDDD
Well, we're about to take a 160-175 year time skip, so issues will start resolving themselves xP

Also, Arguis is a god, he can read. Mirtagn is thousands, if not more, years old, so that explains him. Zerabil was born a reader, and Uri are the creations of Arguis, with the ability to pretty much suck knowledge from the very land during their birth. I only assumed Garakains read because they've got a city and something of an aristocracy.
You know what I just realized? You lot are all making books and libraries, but the entire world is illiterate. Nobody invented writing or reading that I can recall.

Zerabil could always read and write, he was created with a huge amount of knowledge. As for reading and writing, they're green on the technology list. They've been green for a long while. I'd say that (rich) Garakains and Zerabil's people were literate. Confederates and Ialu's people never needed it, so it's understandable why they have not yet learned. Uristan, being quite an advanced kingdom, is probably full of literate people. Dragons, it would seem, are also avid readers.

Tch Tch, seems like you forgot that they can turn Super Saiyan now. Wouldn't want to forget that now, would we?

xDDD I meant in their natural planty state xP humans can use Wi to prevent themselves getting shot after all, doesn't stop their flesh from being nice and vulnerable when Thulemiz's ghouls descend on them.

<Snipped quote by Kho>

The answer is "NOOO!"
Also, I'm looking at an addition to my portfolio(s).

There we go, if dragon scales aren't invulnerable to cannonballs and shots, Serpent Men aren't either xP but I'm guessing they have magic and wards that help protect them.
What would you like to add?
<Snipped quote by Kho>

Serpent Men are explicitly more durable.

More durable than dragons?
@Cyclone You and me both brother xPP

@ActRaiserTheReturned At the moment we don't have orcs, gargoyles or any other trope fantasy creatures, it's only humans, who are pretty much the same as in our world, Uri, who don't have any kind of power against being stabbed, let alone shot, and the Cimex, who are equally vulnerable to stabbing and shooting.

And we also have dragons, whose scales offer very good protection, but certainly nothing to prevent a cannonball getting through without their magic wards.
We also have undead, but they're hardly invulnerable t physical attacks for the most part (unless they're ghosts)
Have no idea what you're getting on to Act, but the point Cyclone was trying to make is that in real life firearms out-matched even the best armours.
<Snipped quote by ActRaiserTheReturned>
I mean no matter how hard metal armor is, its weight is prohibitive

Eh, full-plate armour was actually pretty light compared to the stuff everyday soldiery were trekking around in back in the day. You could easily roll around and even do back-flips (if you're acrobatic, of course) in full-plate armour.

@Kho I see this from another perspective. What we are experiencing right now might be the Era of Magic. It's preferable as you say, to have technology slowly progress and eventually, overtake(?) magic as the dominant force. It will certainly be nice to see how this will play out in this RP.

My thoughts exactly (or nearly exactly)
The way I see it playing out is something catastrophic happening and the Galbar entering something of a dark age, where both magical and mundane technology regress greatly, then things start developing once more. We'll probably have a more diverse number of nations given the greater size of the landmass now as compared with when it was just Arguilla.
I just don't want entire armies walking around in armours and weapons of legendary steel at this point in the game. Perhaps later, when we've got space-faring, galaxy-sweeping empires, having such high-level steels will be pretty much negated by uber-powered weapons, so it'll be fine.
