<Snipped quote by Kho>

I hope you made yourself hungry whilst typing that

Not at all, for I was feasting on some tea and a packet of biscuits.

@Lauder Why sir! I take offence! You are an English muffin! An American cookie too! You are a...a...Turkish kebab! A Japanese sushi! Why, you Chinese rice ball! You saucy bowl of curry! And I'll have a falafel sandwich with that too.

@Lauder Vous osez m'appeler une baguette?!!
O how I dispiseth thee;
Yet subtly tempting me;
But the temptation is fleeting;
Sadly I would never be writing;
Fucking poetry;
How I dispiseth thee.

La société intellectuelle de la poésie approuve
I admit that whenever I go back and read all the attempts at poetry in my previous posts, I get really embarrassed. It suddenly seems very bad when I go back to it. If you guys remember there was a long half-done post I once posted that was all in verse. There's just a part of me that wants to experiment and push personal limits. I actually had one of the mods take that one down because I got so embarrassed of it, but I've yet to do that with any of my other embarrassing posts.

The point is to push your limits and be proud that you did so, even if the quality is not what you'd like it to be or if you feel embarrassed of posting it after a while. If it's embarrassing the first time, it will make you work harder the second. And the third. And the fourth. And every time thereafter as you keep on pushing your limits.

Hmm, now that I think on it, a complete post written purely in verse would be quite the entertaining challenge after all this time. It takes SO MUCH TIME though! These poems aren't easy! The philosophical/nonsense ramblings are very much more my cup of tea C:
All Vowzra did was prophesize xDD 'there will be war' [this was actually in reference to the Realta invasion], 'damn, I'm dying' [this was in reference to him...well, dying], 'what's with those f**ing Eyes all the time' [what was with those f**ing Eyes all the time?], 'hmm, there's something familiar about that Belru...I think we gonna have relations' [no way, when did he...oh, he did. Kinda].

He even added the potential for seeing snippets of the future through dreams, so I'm quite happy that we're finally planning to utilise it! I've no idea how we'll be able to maintain complete anonymity, but I'm all for this idea. Perhaps we can have a shared pad (with the colours turned off) where each person dumps their prophesy anonymously whenever or something?
Btw guys, just a heads-up, there'll probably be an official partial hiatus from around March 01 til June 01 (later depending on when people's exams finish).
@Dawnscroll Logos x Donald Trump alliance confirmed?

I just hope this time things don't go like last time Logos delivered a stone to a head of state.

This good.
@Vec I just saw this pic and realised something...

@Kho

I think the closest would be something like, "Cyclone served Kho a cocktail of gasoline and bleach."

Nah, doesn't quite have the same connotations. If Cyclone happens to have been whipped really badly by Kho, and so hospitalised, he'd have to be 'drip-fed' not 'drip-served' despite the drip quite clearly being liquid. So I reckon Scarifar is on the right lines.

Still seems odd if I go and write "And they fed me a drink unlike any drunk by earth-bound or celestial beings before, a drink whose ingredients were letters. The 'B' of 'bitter' and the 'H' of 'hatred' and the 'P' of 'poison' and the 'D' of 'Reathos Death'."

Edit: yeah, that would be a very odd thing to write whether it has 'they fed me a drink' in it or not.
