@shylarah@Muttonhawk Guys, I'm not that weird. That particular line-break was a typo XD I was just trying to do that post-hoc whatsmadjig that Mutton mentioned xP

Generally speaking, when I have a line break it's either because: 1) the damn paragraph is getting out of hand and it feels right to start a new one, or 2) I'm now going to talk about something slightly different, even if it's still on the same topic (i.e. horse).

@Kho Hey, don't you go trying to misinterpret my opinion as some kind of post-hoc symbolism crap. My interpretation of your line breaks is and shall remain that you put them there according to your mercurial whimsy. Damn it.


You are wrong. Here, let me give you
an example:

To unite the disparate tribes of southern Rukbany under one banner, under one Qa'id Adheem, was not the result of pure physical strength - though that played a part - and it was not the result of pure wit - though that too played an important part. It was the result of both. Wit was like the back legs of a horse, and strength like the front legs, without both the great beast could not walk, let alone gallop. And that
was the case with any man who was fated for glory - he had to have the means by which he could gallop! How many were those amongst men who thought themselves mighty and great when they were nothing more than legless horses? Too many, by God!


Note the sudden line break at 'And that/was the case with...'. It is quite clear that this is not a whimsical
line break. The line break at that particular point mid
sentence highlights the word 'that'. In many way, it acts much as an italicisation would, only more pronounced. It forces one to pause. And that pause
creates all the difference and gives it all the meaning.
Moreover, the great expanse of grey where a sentence should be gives a great amount of meaning:
look at all that meaning! It speaks of unspoken things, hints at unsaid words, causes one to wonder what should be there and why the writer has chosen to leave that goddamngap there. Sometimes, nothing speaks louder than words.

@shylarah These characters are all in this particular iteration of this RP. Since this is a Deity RP it is only natural that we'll develop quite a hefty list of characters as time passes given what we've been up to (that is, creating lore for the most part) - and we have been at this for nearly a year now.
