I always miss the fun stuff and references. Now I'll be wondering what 2011 was referring to.

I'm fine with Terk not being a Princess of Heart. That was just a hail mary pass to you and Evil.

But some of your suggestions don't fit the criteria for a Princess of Heart, like Meg and Fox for example. The reason why the Princesses are so rare in the series is because they're meant to be people devoid of any darkness in their hearts, not specifically those who are royals or hold royal titles.

So Tiana could and would actually be a Princess of Heart before she married Naveen. Dotty being a Princess of Heart would genuinely make sense with her character, especially her ability to change the world with her joyful songs.

And how would that work for Star Wars? I mean, them fitting into the logic of other worlds. I know you mentioned the Mandalorian being sent to track down Stitch, but that series is for the most part its own thing. The main Star Wars story is too big to force into the framework of other worlds/movies, especially if you want to explore both stories when your characters visit. The closest I can think of is Treasure Planet but that still doesn't make sense.

I kind of see Star Wars as a Radiant Garden situation. Prequels the world will be the Galactic Republic, Sequels the world will be Galactic Empire with it being corrupted by darkness and then returned to the Galactic Republic again.

Save for Lucian, couldn't we just keep the Princesses the same as in the game? Or do we want to base them loosely off of what worlds we go to?

Yeah, like in-canon Kairi remained a Princess of Heart so I can see Lucian remaining a Prince as well. The remaining Princesses can be from the worlds we decide to enter in Kingdom Hearts 3 since that's when they explain the Light passed onto a new generation.
Is alice going to remain a Princess of Light after everything that is going to happen in Wonderland?

Also we can say that each Princess must be granted the blessing from a ruler with Royal Authority. But the remaining six rulers must all unanimously grant their blessing to the magus themself.

I think after each Princess was found by the forces of darkness they'd decide to pass on the light as in canon to make sure it can't be found so easily again.

The only issue I see is the Villain plan for Kingdom Hearts 1. With them being aware of Royal Authority and what it is and does they'd know that just gathering the 7 Princesses wouldn't be enough to get them to Kingdom Hearts. Let's say having approval of every one with Authority is the final key to the Door to Darkness. They'd know they wouldn't be able to access it. So what would be the point if they weren't also kidnapping the Royals?

What about this? Instead of Royal Authority being granted to open Kingdom Hearts it's instead what grants someone, for example a Magus, the ability to control Kingdom Hearts. The Princesses are the key. The Royal Authority is the Master Control and it makes sense with it being Royal Authority. So Xehanort believes with his current body and abilities all he needs is the 7 Hearts of Light and he's all set and doesn't need the remaining 12.
@Sadu

I don't think the Royal Authorities have to be the same amount as the Princesses of Light, especially since we already have exceptions for Kings with no connection to the Princesses of Light. I think the criteria being honorable leaders of light who have the ability to influence others works well.

I agree that the Royal Authority is the ability to/give permission to open Kingdom Hearts. That's the perfect set up for why Xehanort needs 13 Members in the Organization. Gives a legitimate reason for the number.

Just change the other half of the Royal Authority to the Seven Guardians of Light. Seven Guardians who protect the Princesses of Light. So Beast is Belle's Guardian. Fairy Godmother is Cinderella/Lucian's but Lucian may also be his own because of the keyblade. Everything else still works with the Villains representing Sin. The Guardians can even represent the 7 Virtues.

1. Prince Lucian
2. Alice
3. Anastasia
4. Princess Kida
5. Belle
6. Princess Jasmine
7. Terk (?)

The seventh is really up to y'all. I was just suggesting something to add to the plot of Tarzan's world. But I only care about Anastasia.
@mattmanganon @King Kindred

Now that I think about it, should we have Maleficent as a recurring villain?

She will be up until the House of Villains Arc.
@King Kindred Well, i think we were gonna go with the idea that currently, Kerchak is the one with Authority, but passes it to Tarzan when he dies, being that Kerchak is currently the leader.

Also, me and @Eviledd1984 were actually talking about going to Sleeping Beauty next. Although we were going with the idea i used in my last campaign:

I like to avoid "Retell the movie, but the gang were there." stories. Or at least, if we have to, do what Birth By Sleep did with Cinderella in that it took key parts of the film and used them as character building moments for the heroes when they temporarily take a role in it.

Yeah, I agree with Kerchak having Authority and passing it onto Tarzan when he dies.

I'm cool with y'all going to Sleeping Beauty next and breaking the curse Maleficent has over it. It's perfect and goes with my idea that the Light didn't choose Aurora in this timeline due to Maleficent having dominion over her world. And it makes sense for her Dragon form to be weaker. It's more of an intimidating factor, but tends to fail at doing that against heroes.

And same. I want our characters to really impact the stories. I already have plans for Alias' presence to drastically change Anakin's path in Attack of the Clones and whoever goes to Revenge of the Sith in Kingdom Hearts 2 or 365/2.
@Sadu

Yeah, I wasn't sure exactly what the plan was with the Royal Authorities but I figured with Mickey and Uther being exceptiona and not having a Princess of Heart the world of Tarzan could have Royal Authority as well. With Tarzan being an English noble as well as the leader of the apes/King of the Jungle in his series I figured it was perfect for him and would give an added explanation to @mattmanganon's earlier question about certain characters and their weapons being able to hurt the Heartless.

There could actually be 13 Royal Authorities instead that don't necessarily tie to the Princesses of Heart.

But it'd be funny and interesting if Terk did end up being a Princess of Heart instead. So Clayton fails but also succeeds.

I was already replacing Aurora with Anastasia. We could replace Snow White as well since we don't actually go to her world or interact with anyone from there.

Edit: I almost forgot. We even have Padme/Palpatine having Royal Authority in Star Wars to make it fit more into the Kingdom Hearts story.
Posted. Please let me know @King Kindred if I need to change my post.

Also, I am unsure what villain I should introduce to Taivas. Maybe Maleficent or Xehanort later on in the RP.

No problems from me. I was thinking if anyone there would have Authority and Kerchak would before Tarzan eventually gets it, so you're good.

See, that's a reason why i think she'd choose Quackerjack or Megavolt instead. Yes, they're not terribly bright, but that makes them easy to control, same reason she keeps Pete around. She seems like the kind to mistrust anyone like herself... Because she knows she's not to be trusted either.

True. But there's a difference between easy to control and grueling headache for her. With Magica being so similar to herself I feel like she'd know exactly how to manipulate her and get her to see how their interests align and because they do. Especially if she tells her of her plan to remake the worlds into the image of villains. Magica becoming the protagonist and gaining victory over Darkwing would be the perfect carrot.

Wow, spoilers. :P I don’t actually know who Ansem is. I still haven’t finished KH1 And as someone who hasn’t finished the series, I don’t have much to comment on the actual plot. I’m along for the ride.

I expected Lucian would be important. Why else would I play a Prince of Heart in the first place.

Lol I figured it was hinted at enough to not be considered a major spoiler now.

Also, @mattmanganon, since we're on the subject. I'm fine with Gepetto and Garland also being students of Ansem. You should definitely talk to @Sadu more about Pinocchio and the whole idea of putting hearts in Nobodies.

I don't mind Cruella receiving the Bandora Staff and becoming a proper villainess. She could even use it to monsterfy Fluffy.

Jellica's cool with me being in the Little Mermaid working with Ursula or being awakened in the chaos of Atlantis.

Whiger would be cool as long as he's an actual suped up tiger in Pride Lands since it's a world of animals.

I feel like Magica would be the only Maleficent would tolerate. She's like her in duck form, even down to their pet ravens, so I'm cool with that as well.
