Current I always miss the fun stuff and references. Now I'll be wondering what 2011 was referring to.

Holy shit dude. What a legend

I honestly couldn't have done it without prayer and trusting God.
@King Kindred

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that I will be withdrawing from this RP. Mostly because of IRL things that would keep me from posting. And to work on other creative projects that I want to finish. Firstly, I want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of your roleplay. And I wish you guys the best.

Regards

ED

I'm sorry to see you go. I was looking forward to seeing where Taivas and Dotty's adventures would take them next. Thank you for updating and letting us know. I hope things get better for you IRL. Thank you for joining us and I wish you the best as well.

Metropolis
Christmas Eve

Toyman's parade of victory was short lived. Everything was happening so fast. Before he knew it he was tackled to the floor of the sleigh by a large green monster. If that wasn't already frightening enough the man started to dig into his mind. Winslow was no longer hearing his own thoughts. He couldn't concentrate long enough to keep his grip on the gun and it fell out of his hand and into the snow below. He groaned and yelled in pain as the green man dug deeper into his mind. If that wasn't enough he could feel the sleigh being pulled to the ground. This wasn't fair at all. They were ganging up on little old him. This was supposed to be a battle between he and Thor. Not some kind of super hero squad.

He opened his eyes through the pain and saw what looked like an army of Thors in the sky. No. That couldn't be him. He defeated him. He killed him. That thought helped him push back against the mental torture. He held onto it and a wicked grin crossed his face. "Yes, my green friend. I'm Winslow Schott. The man who killed the world's most powerful hero. When I'm free you'll be next." He projected back through his mind before falling unconscious.

Thor opened his eyes and saw the walls and ceilings of a cave. There was a fire in the corner and snow fell outside the cave's mouth. Where was he? He looked up and saw a large white beard? Santa? Why was Santa holding him? Wait. Why was he so small? Was this a dream? No... It felt more like a memory. He didn't remember this at all. Before he could fully process what was going on the bearded man spoke.

"It pains me to do this, but Laufey won't stop until our son is dead, Gaea. I want to watch him grow up. I want to teach him how to be a warrior. But I've seen a world. A future where he will thrive. He'll have friends. He'll find love. He'll be a hero. Most importantly, he'll be safe." The man paused as a tear fell from one of his eyes onto Donald's cheek.

The scene changed as soon as the tear touched his cheek. The world was bright. A contrast from the darkness of the cave only lit with a flame. There was something familiar about this place. He was on the steps of a townhouse and still in the arms of Santa Claus. He placed him in a basket that seemingly came from nowhere in front of the door. He could see the old man's face more clearly now. He was no longer sure that he was Santa. He wasn't wearing a red suit or black leather boots and one of his eyes was covered with a golden eyepatch. He rung the doorbell and said, "Please take care of our son." before disappearing in a flash of light.

The door opened and he heard a voice so familiar. "Oliver, come quick! A baby! There's a baby at our door!" He knew exactly where and when this memory had taken him. This was Metropolis and the day that his parents had found him. He always thought they were his actual parents, but he was literally left at their doorstep. He always wondered why he never saw pictures or videos from his mom's pregnancy or his birth. He didn't care that he was their own so he never asked. As far as he knew and cared about they were his parents. But now he had so many questions, but finally one true answer. He was Thor.

Thor woke up in the present to see Zach standing above him. "Did anyone get the license plate of that sleigh?" He asked before slowly standing up. He didn't know what kind of gun he was shot with but it felt like it drained something from him. Besides that he felt fine. There were no holes in his body and his armor was still surprisingly intact. He looked around to see Starfire landing the sleigh and saw the same green man from New York. He was glad they were all okay and that they were able to handle the Toyman without him.

"Thank you for looking after me," Thor said as he turned back to Zach. "For your first superhero outing you did pretty good."

He trudged through the snow over to the sleigh, heading straight for Starfire. Without thinking he hugged her and pulled her in close. "I'm glad you're okay." When he realized what he was doing he blushed and let her go before turning to their green friend. "Thank you for helping us out. What do we call you? I don't like calling you the green man in my head."
As much as it pains me to do so I'm going to have to officially end the Misfits RP. This kind of story doesn't work with only three active players. It requires too much group activity.

I really appreciate you all for joining me on this story and I apologize for my faults as a GM. I feel like I may have moved things too slowly when I wanted the characters to bond a bit before things really got started. I'm still a novice when it comes to GMing and I haven't GM'd this kind of story/group roleplay before where we all move together.

Thank you all for playing with me and I'm looking forward to roleplaying with you again. If you're still interested in a superpower roleplay join @Azure Bubbles and I over at Worlds Collide. There's a lot less pressure there. You can create canon characters and OCs as long as they fit the theme. Same for characters from different franchises as long as they fit the world.
Character tab is edited!

@Azure Bubbles @ThatDeercat You two are finally Zeroth page official.
Just letting everyone know I'm still alive. Had to give up my desk to the model I'm building, so I haven't been on my PC for the last couple days lol

I'm glad you're alive and everything's well. Thank you for the update!
Sorry, may be a little late with my post. Got a nasty Eye infection coming on. I'm trying not to use devices much.

It's okay. I know you're still active, but thank you for the update. I hope you feel better soon.

I'll be updating the Zeroth post in the characters tab when I get home tonight.
Harrison loved watching everyone dance and celebrate. The dance and the music reminded him of home. Of the different cultures he learned about and experienced in his travels who all had their own ways of celebrating and playing music. The drums especially reminded him of the ngoma drums of Uganda and the djembe of the Madinka people. If he were to be honest watching all of this was starting to make him homesick and he felt sick at the thought. Kir had been away from her home and her people for one hundred and fifty years and was just now able to celebrate finding a small population of them and here he was having lingering thoughts of home only a couple of days into their trip.

He shook his head. It was okay to miss home. It wasn't like he was planning to return anytime soon. He didn't really have anything to return home to. He felt... No, he knew that he had a much bigger purpose out here in the stars. Earth didn't need him. He could help them more by learning everything he could about outer space and making it a safer place for them to travel to when the time came. He also didn't want to leave Kir's side. He wondered if it was the ritual that made him feel that way or was love at first sight? He never believed in it. He thought that it was only a thing in books or movies, but when he saw her in that government facility he knew that he would do anything for her.

Harrison beamed with joy as they honored and welcomed her before everyone returned to dancing. He felt her touch in his mind before he heard her voice and nodded as he approached the dance floor. He awkwardly positioned himself next to her and began following the steps. He had never done this type of dance before, but as he moved it was like he knew every step he should take. He danced awkwardly at first, but it didn't take long for him to gain his rhythm and flow with the others. He loved this. He loved feeling part of a community and this moment of freedom. He wanted this moment to last for as long as it could because he knew that soon they'd have fewer and fewer moments like this as they fought against the Empire.

Lyris approached Zev and watched the two dance with the others. She looked up at him before turning her attention back to the celebration. "You know, this is almost a marriage ceremony in X'hondrian culture. They could tell they were connected by X'honnar and wanted to honor that for them. You should still join in on the celebration and have some fun while we're here." She waited for his response before gliding across the floor to join in on the dance. She may not have been able to float, but her steps were so light and graceful that for a moment it seemed like she could.
I'm doing good. I'm looking forward to seeing where and how far the story takes us.
@IAmTheIsland Yeah. Sorry but i have Vietnam Flashbacks whenever i think about Mighty Ducks, Quack Pack, Phineas & Ferb, Lloyd In Space and Loonatics Unleashed. They all sit in a specific part of my brain where all of the cringe gets locked away.

Phineas and Ferb does not deserve to be here.
