Christopher

"Yeah, one moment," Christopher yelled up the stairs from the basement. He was confused why there was anyone at his door, and he was certain that was Alexander. Not that they didn't hate each other or anything. He took the steps two at a time and then opened the door a crack. "Yes?"

Hannah

Hannah lay on the floor of her room, tears poured down her face. Sumi stood over her glaring at her. They probably would not have been good to put together in a room, but it was too late to change that now. Hannah and Sumi were a pair to be reckoned with, or more importantly, Sumi was someone to not be messed with. She had Hope, her favorite four letter word. Hannah however didn't. Hannah was exiled and unlike Sumi didn't know her future.

"Look you need to pull yourself together." Sumi kicked Hannah lightly. Hannah just shook her head and sobbed more. There was a knock at the door and Sumi left Hannah on the floor.
Emily

Location: Strawberry Field

Emily was happy waving up at Marco, until his half-brother Greg, landed in the field next to her. She yelped startled at first and then leaned over to make sure he was okay. Marco landed and helped Greg up. "Yeah take care of your Greg and the pegasuses. I've got the plants. I'm good with plants, not pegasuses." Emily grinned waving him off with a kiss blown at him.

She turned to the strawberry plant that Greg had landed on and started willing it back to health. The vines healed and the strawberries were suddenly very ripe and plump looking. She grinned, popped one of the freshly grown strawberries into her mouth and picked the rest of the ripe ones and put it in the bin.

Now that she was done with her morning chores in the field her stomach was growling. A couple of stolen strawberries was not enough food. "Alright, kids lets go get food." She rubbed at her stomach thinking of bacon and bagels. Maybe some hashbrowns. Her stomach growled even louder. One of her siblings laughed, and she hooked her arm around him and gave him a noogie. "Come on Terry, you know you're hungry too."

"No!" Niah yelled. She wasn't certain at who or what she was yelling, but she was pissed. She had lost another friend. That was the third in as many weeks. Her heart hurt so much and her vision was a bit fuzzy, but that was probably the blood loss...or the tears. There was so much going on. She could hear guns going off all over and people yelling, but what mattered was this threat. She could at least address this.

Niah re-aimed letting out a slow breath of air and unloaded the rest of her clip at Luminous. Several shots hit her staggering her back from Maria's touch. Her vision went blurrier than before and she felt like she was about to tumble over. Niah knelt down, her hand on Sami's still warm, but still chest.

Niah had taken Maria's hand to stand, but when she heard the crack of bone she knew. She could tell it wasn't Sami who was still standing. A cry escaped her lips. Her friend, she had needed to talk to him. To have reassurances from him, but there hadn't been time. "They are fighting." She gasped and started running for the grand hall blindly. At least her having her hearing advanced didn't make her blind on top of the lights being off. She bumped against something.

She made her way quickly as she dared into the Master Suite. Sami was on the ground and Griffin was fighting a woman Niah didn't know. "Sami!" She cried out, and pulled out her ICER trying to get a clear shot at the woman. As soon as she did Niah pulled the trigger twice in quick succession. The first shot grazing the woman. The second hitting her right in the stomach.
Emily

Location: Strawberry Field

"Keep dreaming Eva. We've got Athena and all of the big three cabins." Emily grinned. It was playful banter. "Hey everyone stretch for a moment." She could see that a couple of kids were struggling so she went through a few stretches with the group. As she did she saw Kiera and Ryland going into the Oracle's cave. She kept the frown from her face as she was going the stretches, but she was worried. With the recent Great Prophecy that had been made it had a lot of people on edge.

As curious as Emily was though she had to keep the group working. She glanced to Eva and raised her eyebrow at her and then spoke to her in a quiet tone. "Did you see them going into the cave? What do you think is up?"

Niah nodded and closed her eyes. Resting her head back. She felt sick to her stomach and the world spun for a moment. She took a deep breath and while listening as best she could, hoping to hear Sami's voice.

"Same as usual I guess. My brother is about to graduate high school. Poor kid has a lot of pressure since I have been so successful. Of course, mom and dad have no idea how dangerous my job is. And I haven't told them about Antoine yet. They liked him."

She sighed, then sat up, her head spun as she did. "I found him. Rhodes that is. He is just the other side of the grand room cater-cornered from here." She pointed toward the master bedroom. "I can't figure out what he is saying, but I recognize his voice."
Kade nodded to Alexander, acknowledging his jacket being given to Astrid. "Astrid, let's go talk okay," Kade said. "Come back with me to the classroom, after you change." He added. "Thank you for trying Alexander." He started off up the stairs mumbling about Hannah getting in trouble.

Elenore stepped out of her office. "Before the lightning, there was a crash. Does anyone know what it was?" As she asked another strike of lightning hit, and thunder rolled through the house seconds later. "Alexander, grab some help and gather candles for me. The backup generator is still unreliable. Make sure every room has at least two candles and some matches. You'll find a collection of both in Christopher's room in the basement under the stairs. He might even be willing to help you distribute them. Any leftover candles place in the dining hall. Katalina would you be so kind as to go the linen closets and collect the extra blankets and bring them to the dining hall. If there is an outage I want all students to gather there. Please pass that onto everyone you run into. I'll do rounds outside to make sure no one is out there."

Niah sat down in the chair. Maria was right. Her whole body felt weird. It was ten times worse than donating blood. She felt like passing out or throwing up. It was weird cause she could have sworn she had heard Antonie speak, but that had been when she had been bleeding out. She shook her head and the memory of it from her mind as best she could. She couldn't focus on that right now. Instead, she focused on her hearing it was still up. Maybe she could pick out where everyone was. She wouldn't be able to identify exactly where Sami was, but she might be able to figure out where people in general were. That might help.

Niah started listing off locations to Maria. "Sorry I can't tell who is who, and I don't fully know the layout of the house, but this is basically where people are. I can't even guarntee it is everyone."

Emily

Location: Strawberry Field

Emily laughed at a joke one of the Demeter kids said as she turned some of the earth. "Eva," Emily plucked a strawberry and held it up for Eva to examine. Eva gave a nod, held out her hand and took the strawberry from Emily. Eva then put it in a collection bin.

"At least we don't have afids."

"We never have afids." Em grinned at Eva's comment. She nudged a plant pushing it's growth a little faster. It went from green to mostly red. She frowned slightly, it would need another day. Her magic wouldn't help it any farther. She moved down the row of plants nudging as necessiary, or plucking finished strawberries and adding them to the bin.

Her younger brother, Louis, was looking frowning at one of the strawberry plants he was working with. Emily moved over to invistigate what had him frowning so much. "Sorry sis, still can't get it to grow." Emily put her hand on his shoulder.

"It is fine. We don't all have the ability to control plants. You'll figure out what your gifts are eventually." He nodded. "You've only been at this for a couple weeks."

"Yeah I know." He sighed and sat the rest of the way down next to the plant and started talking to it. Emily held back a sigh and shook her head, moving off to another plant. She streatched.

"Oh and remember everyone tonight is Capture the flag." Emily announced to her siblings, and she supposed to the Demeter kids too. A cheer went through the group.

Pain which Niah hadn't even been certain she had been feeling subsided. She was still cold, but it wasn't that bone deep uncontroled cold that she knew was a sign of shock. "Thank you." She told Tempest. Before Ryanor could go far, Niah let her sense of Taste drop away.

"Agent Blake and Tempest," Niah started, her voice seemed to boom in her own ears, but she knew she was whispering. "There are at least two hostiles in there. They are talking about Hawkeye." She frowned. They had an arrow from Hawkeye. How had they gotten their hands on that? "They have one of his arrows. Who is Hellfire?" She turned to Maria. "We should stay and help." Not that Niah had any idea how she would help. She still felt woozy from the shock and loss of blood, but at least she seemed to be able to stand without issue.
