"Goose! I love you too. I am sorry I do not have any treats, but I promise I will as soon as I can get to a store." She really did love that cat. He had helped her figure out that she could time travel. She was glad to see he was okay. She was sad to see him hurry off outside the jet, but it was his prerogative. If Goose had something to do she wasn't going to stop him. It'd be like trying to stop a sentient tank. She giggled at the image of Goose driving a tank, which she figured he probably could do anyway.

"Howdy." Niah said...to the President of the United States. "I fought a bear with Oliver. Pretty certain it created an alternate reality filled with our worst fears before trying to maul me to death, which you know for me is basically par for the course." She said shrugging slightly before turning to Bonnie and answering her question.

"I don't know sorry. I was mostly unconscious when they began the surgery." Niah's eyes lit up at the offered lollipop. "Heck yeah a lollipop. Thank you." She said before unwrapping the candy and starting to enjoy it. "Hi Cass." Niah said popping the lollipop out of her mouth. "Bonnie gave me a lollipop. I haven't had one of these in ages. Why do we as adults just deny ourselves simple pleasures like this? We face insane amounts of danger daily, especially us. And we just don't enjoy lollipops often enough for that kind of drama."

Matt stayed in his seat. He watched Evelyn for a moment. Thinking about her power set. It wasn't that dissimilar to his own. His secondary power that had been activated on the moon, thanks to Oliver, gave him the ability to pick up any weapon and intrinsically understand how it worked.

"Evelyn, you said your power was being able to mimic fighting styles after watching them. Have you gone out of your way to collect different fighting styles? Or let them cross your paths? I recently acquired a similar power and haven't had much chance to explore it." A part of him wanted to ask Evelyn if he could hold her sword just to see if he could now use it, but he wanted to chat a bit first.

Gryf thankfully let Arthur on his back too. She didn't really want to part ways with Arthur but knew that when Gryf decided something there was no fighting the creature. He could easily kill any of them if he decided to turn. The ride up into the air was exhilarating. She had been nervous because of the fall from the tree. But this was amazing. Her heart pounded and her stomach twisted, but it was like a roller-coaster type of reaction. This was fun.

A couple of dragons headed their direction, but another dragon with a man singing on his back drew one of them away. That was weird, and she didn't know what to think about it. She guessed it might be Demi as the dragon. She had seen him turn into a baby one before. She focused on the other dragon and shot lighting at it, missing.

"Darn," She said before trying again. This time it was a direct hit and the dragon died. For a moment Andy regretted it as the body started to fall to the earth. Would it hit someone on their side?

"What is it you need help with?" She asked. She didn't dare say she'd help until she knew what it was that was needed. Emily knew how much gods could twist things. Even the nicer gods. But it was good practice to never allow yourself to get into a deal you didn't know the parameters of. No matter who you were talking to.

Though, she planned to help Ariadne. Even if it might require going into the Labyrinth. With Ariadne's help, they couldn't get lost, not really. And there would be three of them on the 'quest'. Emily couldn't leave them to an unknown fate. She wasn't that type of person.

The Argo III was actually really neat, Niah decided. The interface wasn't quite what she expected from this sort of thing, but honestly, it made sense. You have a bunch of kids making flying ships why wouldn't they smash together their current technology with what comes from their heritage.

"That's really cool, Alannah. I'm impressed. Can I give it a go?" She asked, and when handed the controls started trying to shoot at the dragons. Well, the ones that hadn't been carrying Romans on their backs. She'd have to ask Marco later where his dragon came from.

She turned her focus to the siege weapon. Something she was good at. Even with the different interfaces. She fired a shot at a dragon hitting it, but it kept flying. She took another shot. This time the dragon died and turned to glittery dust. Niah smiled. "Let me reiterate, this is super cool."

The world slowed down as it does sometimes when Andy was in a fight. Jamie was the one who had identified the secondary power for Andy. Explained what was happening. She was used to hand-to-hand combat, not guns. Not that she hadn't been shot at before. But bullets were so much faster. She moved, just slightly, just enough and the bullet grazed her. If she hadn't, she'd be dead.

Next to her Stareyes lacked the reflexes. She was on the ground. In the sewer. Bleeding out. Veil told Andy to grab her phone, which she did. She found the contact. That was easy enough. And pressed the call button. The phone rang. Then clicked as Spark Plug answered.

"Get Warlock and Cadacus to our location immediately." She said quickly. Her words almost running together. Stareyes was one of the people who joined at the same time as her. They'd only been with the group...less than twenty-four hours. Andy had seen one other die in almost the same way at the college. The bullet wound was in a slightly different place, but it was like that first meeting with the group was replaying. If Stareyes bled out restarting her heart wouldn't help any. If Andy even could. She had never tried to use her power to get someone's heart beating again.

"Just let me know if you need any healing." Ed offered to those who had been electrocuted or tossed around by the ships shaking. He was glad he was sitting down for that whole ordeal. He concentrated, twisting the spell he had been preparing anyway just a little bit. A shield appeared around the ship. It was based on his idea of keeping them safe from the vacuum of space but reversed sort of. Things could pass out of the shield but not in.

So if Runa's peacekeeping attempt didn't work with the space cops and they fired on them again the ship should have a little bit of protection. And they could fire out at the Nova Corps. He didn't have anything else he could offer to help at this time, unfortunately. Maybe it was time to learn more about computers. Well, he supposed it was a little too late for that. He should have tried learning about computers more before this moment.

Niah Bautista

Location: Mount Rushmore, South Dakota
Skills: Oath binding?, Odikinesis, Armor Control

Dang harpies pulled Niah's hands from the rock wall and she started to fall. The first thing she did though wasn't trying to control the armor no it was stopping the Harpies from attacking. There was only one left. "I bind you by the River Styx to stop attacking us." She didn't feel the normal rise in power that she did when she bound someone by an oath, which made sense this wasn't an Oath. She went a different approach. She also had Odikinesis. A gift she never understood why she got. She was no child of Mars or to her knowledge a legacy of him.

Sometimes using it had the opposite reaction the one Mars preferred. But she liked to use it to calm people down. To get them to lose their battle fury. And it worked. Now she could focus on the armor. But nothing happened. She was still falling. "Hold on tight!" She screamed. Of course, the fall was her fault. Of course, she was going to drag them down to their deaths because she couldn't control the damn armor well enough.

Niah winced as Bonnie yelled, it killed the smile she had as Dr. Larson talked about why she was betraying the Kree empire. Someone had ratted her out as hurt, she had a good idea it was probably Matt. "Coming." She said and then turned to Kwassi. "You pointed a gun at the president? I mean at least his wife isn't here but wow. Also, wait, your Wakandan? I've been there! Admittedly it was..." Niah trailed off. Did she talk about the alternate realities not knowing who was safe? Kwassi hadn't been there for any of that. "We'll talk about it later." She said. "I'm gonna go get myself chewed out by Bonnie." Niah knew what was coming, she'd have to be unconscious to not.

She made her way in her fancy Kree-tech wheelchair that wasn't always a wheelchair up to the ship. "Hi Bonnie. We fought a bear that eats fear and we defeated it, but it almost...Well, it was a good thing we were in a hospital." Niah had been really close to dying in the fight with the bear. It was only on that precipice of death that she let go of her fear. She didn't really understand that even now. A part of her still believed that Oliver somehow defeated the bear.

"Here let me see if you're a Skrull" She reached up to touch a part of Bonnie's sleeve but as her fingers brushed Bonnie's skin she got a few flashes, at least none of them were Bonnie and Flynn kissing. "Oh...Well, you're not Skrull." She looked at her fingers. It had never worked on a person before why did it now? That was going to be super annoying. She already didn't like touching people because of germs and now she had a whole new level. At least it had become natural for her to wear gloves all the time. But that would make any hope of a relationship ever again really annoying. She suddenly understood how hard it was for Maria and Novi. If Maria was alive somewhere kidnapped by Skrulls, Niah would have to ask her when they found her how that worked.

Exactly as planned. Matt thought as Bonnie yelled for Niah. It was proof she was more irresponsible than anyone thought. Now the others just needed to get on the Quinjet so they could get out of there and to wherever it was Hawkeye was taking them all. Though, there were a few others that needed to be cleared. "Did the Skrulls seriously lock up a cat?" He asked. Not to anyone in particular.

He knew the cat was sort of like a mascot for the group. Showing up randomly. Supposedly the cat had been Fury's, and he asked the group to watch it for some reason. He should get the full story sometime. He decided to ask Cass later. He watched as the cat purred in Alexander's hands.

It was a relief to be back in the pub. Rose didn't blame her mom for going straight for the drinks. She had seen that look on plenty of people in her time as a bartender. She hoped her boss wasn't too mad at her for dipping on her shift. Especially after she had sent him the text about potentially being in danger. Were there flyers at the bar for her? Had her friends in Kansas started looking for her? She had at least called her parents to tell them she'd be out of contact for a bit because of a lead she had on her bio-mom. Something they had wanted for her for years, and here she was now standing next to her. Red hadn't abandoned her in the woods. However, Rose had ended up there it had been an accident. And now she felt like a kid not wanting to part ways with her mom, being so afraid that if she lost sight of her she'd never see her again.

"I'll go with you." She told Red. She felt her mouth almost say mom but caught herself. She wasn't totally ready for that. Mom was Mrs. Buckner and had been since she was eight. Rose didn't ask for a drink. She wanted her mind to be as sharp as possible. "Before we go anywhere though we all need showers and a change of clothing." She grinned. The whole group had been traipsing through the muck. Her clothes were drying stiff and gross. There was no way she was going to stay in what she was wearing any longer than necessary.

"Oh there is plenty to smile about. Such as how are we gonna get back at her for being so annoying. He didn't get why Rosalia wouldn't just drop it. It had been done and there was no undoing it. So why couldn't she just move on. Colby could have let the push into the lake yesterday slide if she had stopped being so rude. But today had sealed her in his mind as the worst. Which made sense because she had a dog and dogs were the worst. Proven by the dog bite he had on his leg. "Oh shoot I should check out my leg make sure that dog didn't do any damage."

Maddie hummed in agreement as Colby proposed that they get back at Rosalia. He didn't know how they would, but he was sure that Colby could find a way to do so. When he heard about the leg however he instantly opened his eyes and decided it was priority number one. The alcohol didn't allow for him to think too hard on the situation, having had Maddie slip his thumb under the waistband of Colbys pants in an attempt to remove them.

"Oh right, well let's see it"

"Ack!" Colby said. He was still on the bed and Maddie was trying to pull his pants off. "I was just going to pull the pant leg up. He didn't bite that high." It was a bit of a relief actually that the dog had missed sensitive bits. He wiggled trying to get out of Maddie's attempt to strip him.

Maddie looked at Colby inquisitively as if he spoke a foreign concept to him. His eyes widened as he removed his hand away from Colbys pants. "Oh… right. I guess you could just roll up the pants leg to look." Embarrassment was faintly creeping its way in him, overshadowed by a new feeling and a racing heart.

Colby laughed. Not at Maddie. He smiled his half smile. "Drunk you is silly." Now that he was free he sat up and pulled his pant leg up. There were four little puncture wounds were the dog had bit him and it was red on the site. "Dang that dog. But it doesn't look like it'll bleed or anything. I clean it before we leave just in case."

Maddie sat up on the bed looking at the dog bite from there. Well, looking at those calfs and getting distracted before finally focusing on the issue at hand. It didn't look too bad, though definitely wasn't looking good. He got up from the bed, a small wave of wooziness hitting him as he tried to stabilize himself. He walked up behind Colby as he wrapped his arms around his waist and nestles his chin between Colbys shoulder and neck giving him a light kiss. "You should wrap that up too. Don't need to catch an infection while out here."

Colby found himself leaning into the touch. If he could purr he might at that moment. "Yeah. Later." He didn't kiss back. But he was leaning backward into the hug.

Maddie smiled as he kept him in his arms. Swaying a pit side to side. "If that's for later, then what do you want to do right now." As he asked he pulled Colby even closer, pressing his chest against his back and securing himself around his best friend.

Colby suddenly became very aware of the body pressed against him. He shifted a little bit. "I uh...I don't know." He said a little flustered. Color rising in his cheeks.

Maddie loosened his grip slightly as he swung around to face Colby now. Having kept his arms still wrapped around him before finally pulling him back in, looking at Colbys eyes as he was inches away from his face almost daring him to kiss him. "I'm sure we can figure something out."

"Was there something specific you had in mind. I didn't. I just needed to get away." Colby didn't pull away. Instead he leaned ever so slightly closer. Their lips not yet touching. It would be so easy for that to happen. "You're drunk. We can lay down till you're sober. Just rest." Colby wanted to do more than rest, but he didn't want to cross any boundaries.

Everything was firing off inside of him as Colby moved in closer. Was he teasing him? Did he actually want to kiss? Did he realize what it was that was happening? Maddie had so many unanswered questions, and all he wanted to do was kiss Colby. But he was too afraid to cross that line, too afraid to ruin a good thing. So he moved in even closer, lips still not touching, but being one breeze away from having them meet. His eyes moved downwards as he looked towards his pants.

"Well...I have something we can play with in my pants." There was a pause as he thought of what to do. "You wanna play Go Fish or War? I'm up for either."

Colby raised an eyebrow surprised at first at where Maddie was saying. It was weirdly forward for him. "Oh I love Go Fish." He said grinning. He loved most card games honestly.

Ed Penior

Ed's fingers twitched instinctively toward his tiny shield in his pocket, ready to cast a shield if necessary. He didn't want to be sucked into the vacuum of space. He had been playing around a bit with ideas on how he could twist the shield spell since the fight with Loki. He was certain he could make it non-permeable and it could theoretically protect people from space, at least for a little bit. With the power back on he felt a little better. But the alarms were...unsettling.

Runa had cast her own protection spell, which reassured him. He kept his hand near the shield though. Ready to cast if something happened to the hull of the ship. He couldn't help figure out the tech side of things. He wasn't computer illiterate...just woefully inept compared to Guin or most of the others. Computers just hadn't been his focus. He could use a laptop or a PC no problem, but once it got into the higher technical aspects he was useless.

Andy didn't know what to think of Glimpse leaving. She understood why. But she barely knew her and didn't have much feeling on the situation. What she did know was the group had suffered some losses recently and losing someone else, even though it wasn't to death, had to be a hard blow. She also hadn't decided if she would stay with the group. Andy wasn't the type to stay in one place too long. She didn't want to overstay her welcome, or more importantly become attached to someone and watch them get burned to death. She had had enough of that.

She stayed quiet in Veil's invisibility bubble. The SHIELD agents were coming and the group was in a tight bind. They had to get out of the sewers fast. She looked up at Veil waiting for directions. Nervousness tingling her limbs as she felt the fight or flight reflex struggle to decide. Only prey froze for too long. She thought of a deer caught in the headlights of a vehicle and knew their group was in much the same predicament.

He had caught what she had almost said. She felt bad. But it was more that she thought he wanted to be in a safe place rather than any doubt of his fighting skill. It was clear he didn't enjoy fighting so why would he want to join it if it could be avoided?

Andy took the book. "Thank you." She didn't have a backpack or anywhere to stash the book. It was a good thing most of her fighting was summoning lighting and hitting enemies with it. She wanted to get into battle though and didn't want to have to put the book away. She'd just have to be super careful with it.

She and Arthur started to walk outside toward the ship, but there was no need. Gryf had come to her. She grinned. Excellent. "Hey Gryf, you ready to ride into battle with me? We've got people to protect." She climbed onto the Gryphon's back. "Come on Arthur. Let's show these monsters they picked the wrong fight." Her grin was huge. Howerver, Gryf was not excited about Arthur joining her. He started hissing at Arthur when he tried to get on his back.

"Gryf, he is my friend. Please be nice to him." She said gently. Not demanding. She didn't want to force the Gryphon to take Arthur on his back if he didn't want to, but she wished that both of them could ride him.

Shit. That was all Em could think as she was almost pushed into the Labyrinth. She was already regretting her decision to stay. That was quick. Instead of her one of the others of the Fifth was knocked in. She sighed frustrated. But hey Marco was super hot riding a dragon and singing...Backstreet Boys. She shook her head to focus and turned around seeing a beautiful woman who had definitely not been in the Labrinth a moment ago speaking with Waverly.

It didn't take much for Emily to realize who the woman was. She was a goddess. And one of her Father's (in his Greek form) ...consorts. She shifted. Hoping that Ariadne wouldn't take offense to what Waverly had just said. It was sort of reasonable since Waverly had so far met a Sphinx and had been warned multiple times to not wander off. "Ariadne." She started giving a head nod and what might be considered a curtsey. "We found this section of the Labrynth by accident while reinforcing the sewers here." She explained.

Niah nodded. At least that made sense. They were kids, they should have gotten a proper childhood. Not that any demi-god really got proper childhoods. She watched as an actual Gryffin flew over to them and the girl climbed onto its back without any issue. "Well skill aside she has a friend in that Gryffin." Saw something new every day she supposed. The other thing that Alannah said made sense. You could see it in the kid's eyes.

"Alright, show me the ropes." She said to Alannah. The battle had begun and she didn't like sitting on the sidelines during wartime. That wasn't her speed. She had literally flown into a dragon's lair before and here she was waiting. It was part of the reason she didn't consider herself a leader. The misconception that leaders told others what to do from the sidelines. To her Nancy and Mads were exceptions to what leaders were like. And she preferred their style. Getting involved and fighting. Proving they were just as willing to die for their people as the people they were asking to die.

She looked up as a dragon took to the skies. It was carrying Marco...who was singing. Niah could hear that Nancy's voice joined the song and heads started exploding. She smiled. Remembering the first time Nancy ever did that with the werewolves. But that caused her to frown again. Mads. Worry crossed her heart and mind. Something would have to be done before the next full moon. She didn't want to lose one of her best friends like that. Her fingers brushed her bracelet.
