...I'm crazy. Got a doctor's note and everything.

Been role playing for over fifteen years, no stranger to forum rp'ing, as that is the way I learned to roleplay.

I don't bite, so don't be afraid to say hi.

I mostly prefer 1x1's, and am on PST. (Hello from the West Coast of the USA.)

If you are interested in rps, really, don't be afraid to say hi!!

Or if you just wanna talk, I'm usually very open.

For those of you still here, have some Pusheen!

"I'll introduce myself later... seems that dinner and the reviews of the deaths are going to start soon..." Lara trailed off a bit as Helgi began to speak and address everyone there. She sighed as she looked up at the recountings and then smiled a bit. A US Soldier was saving children, another and another... all Heroic efforts. Lara did smile and bow her head to the soldier. She had always appreciated Soldiers when she saw them, as she felt a sort of kinship with them. Of course, in one way or another, they were were all fighters, and soldiers. Some on one side of the war, some on another. Goodness knew she had seen a few fights break out for the first decade or so after she had arrived. She had even been involved in some of those...

She was recounting with fondness of a time she had punched an ex-Italian fascist soldier in the face after her arrival at the hotel when the girl she had noticed before death was played out. The weapon in her hand... was a toy? One she didn't know well. (She had never bothered keeping up with pop culture sometimes, but she knew that toy was a popular weapon in some science fiction series.) The rune however, that caught her attention. She was not sure she had seen a child of Baldur in a good long time. Heck, she wasn't sure she had even seen a child of Baldur arriving herself since she had gotten there. That was then when she remembered... he was dead. At Loki's hands. And last she heard, he was still in Hel's realm.

Her heart dropped into the pit her stomach was forming and she pushed her food away and then shivered as the Norn's surrounded the new girl, Runa, and spoke prophecy. A quest... to bring back the god of Light himself. The silence that had crept over the hall was soon broken by yells and cries as everyone was surprised to hear that the long dead god was to be brought back.

"Waverly, not that I'm doubting your power darling, but at least take a breast plate. Trust me... magic does not always work against some of the Immortals..." Marco shuddered a bit at that as he thought. Ever since the talk of another war his mind had been flashing back to that day... the weeks leading up to it... He had thought he was going crazy when he saw a giant man in those storms and then... when Lupa had informed him the Giant man he had seen had been Typhon... father of monsters. He had gotten a perfect view of the monster being dragged into the Hudson that day and it had shaken him to his core.

"Huh? Oh yes, I do believe if we have to go there I will entrust another to care for Milo. I don't want my little baby to have to suffer through that." He cooed as he thanked Emily for the papoose and gently tucked Milo into it before strapping it around his chest. He then found a spare shield that he had been borrowing and strapped it to his back, as well as an Imperial Gold dagger that he enjoyed using. It was better to be prepared for a fight and not need the knife, than to walk into a peace conference and find everyone else was out for blood. Especially given whom his mother was. He was well aware that given whom she was, sometimes he had a target painted on him, even more so when his charmspeak became apparent.

He finished packing up and gave Milo a little grape and then walked out and paused when Emily and Niah mentioned taking buses to Mount Tam. "I don't suppose we can just rent or borrow a car and drive there instead? Or borrow a van? That might be something we need to talk to Nancy about... because I'm pretty sure it's not... that far from San Francisco and where we are."

Marco also waved to Alexandra at that point and sighed as he heard the click. He didn't blame her for wanting to be alone at that point... his own mind was still reeling and his thoughts were in a cloud of conflict. He did nod his head to Niah as they passed her, and she informed them that they would be meeting up once everyone was done packing. As he headed into the Cohort, there was a familiar chattering sound that perked him up instantly as he dashed over to the little cage near his bed. "Hey little boy, yeah, daddy's here..." He cooed as he went to open the little cage and then gently held Milo, his sugar glider, in his hands. "I missed you too." He smiled as Milo seemed to relax and then he paused in realization. Besides Em, there was no one else he could trust to watch Milo, and since Em was coming with him on the quest...

"Em, love, do you know where I left the little carrier for Milo? You know, the chest snuggy one?" Marco went to start picking out things to pack, like his knife and the message compact, but also started grabbing some of Milo's food and the little blanket the sugar glider liked to nap in. Even if the praetors had issue with it, he was going to bring his little baby with him on this quest. "Armor couldn't hurt, Waverley... though make sure it is something easy to move around in. Just in case."

"Sure... Sunshine is the word I'd use for her." Lara was too painfully aware her relationship with Dalisy was strained. They were not friends by even the broadest of terms, and they were not enemies either. "No, just leave here... others are arriving to keep her from doing anything else too blatant." Lara did brighten up a bit when she noticed Arnora and Klara, and they entered with Nadia and... someone Lara had not seen before. That wasn't uncommon. Even for all her years there at the hotel she did not know everyone. Sometimes it had to do with floors, and sometimes it just had to do with the sheer number of people in the hotel.

However, Lara watched as Nadia steered her towards the front table. Maybe a new death perhaps? That did make sense. There was always at least one these days it seemed... there use to be more but it seemed that either there was less of them, or people were not dying as nobly as they might have in the past. "Looks like we might have a few new people tonight. How interesting."

"Not now... maybe after dinner I'll try to catch up with Elizabeth and see what's going on, but not much sense in trying now. It's only getting more crowded, and I'm pretty hungry." Lara's eyes followed Johns to see Magnus Chase and Alex Fierro, who were pretty famous, well them and their floor mates. Lara couldn't help but be worried for a moment, as children of Loki were always... Tricky. That was part of her issue with Elizabeth sometimes. It honestly wasn't their fault, just the problem laid more in what one of their siblings was. The Fenris Wolf. The very wolf that had taken her father's hand, (which yes he had offered willingly,) but it did not make it easier for her swallow that fact.

She did wave softly when she noticed another one of her siblings near Alex, T.J. She rather liked him, and had spoken to him at least once before. She was still looking around the room for some of her other friends and frowned as she noticed that still neither Arnora or Klara was there yet. However, her attention was diverted when she heard someone shove a sword through another person and groaned. "Would be nice to go a meal without someone getting stabbed, but that isn't happening here now, is it?"

Marco could sense Emily move into his arm, and knew that she could pick up what was going through his mind, and it made him smile a little. Em sometimes knew him better than he did himself, and he was thankful for they had. Sure, he sometimes got eyerolls from his siblings about what he and Emily had, and he knew full well how his mother felt about relationships in general. "Better to have love and lost, than to have never loved at all." What a load of crock that was to Marco sometimes.

Waverley's voice pried him right out of his own thoughts, which he was thankful for. First dwelling on the Battle of New York, and then his mother were not the things his mind needed to dwell on for the moment. "I am guessing we will need to be mindful of Atlas's guest then, as well as the monsters. That was not unexpected. Isn't that tree there with that creature in it?" Marco had remembered hearing about the golden apples once, or reading about them before. Hercules had been tasked with getting one if he remembered right. "Thank you for your help, Alexandra. I guess it is time to pack. Shall we head back to Cohort 5 and pack up ladies?" He gently took Emily's hand again, as it would be easier to walk hand in hand rather than arm in arm.

Marco had been a little bit surprised that Waverley had decided to use her magic to repair the stuffed animal, since he was fully aware that Alexandra would just use that freshly mended stuffed animals as sacrifices right again. At least thankfully none of them were doves this time... he wasn't sure he could tolerate seeing another dove being taken apart by Alexandra again. He was already pretty unnerved by the painting they were looking at. He gently took Emily's hand and then rubbed it softly as she spoke.

"Yes, there are going to be six of us on the quest, and we are aware that is... not a good number. But Nancy was rather.... specific about this." His arm moved from holding Emily's hand to wrapping it around her waist and held her close and sighed a bit at that point. He was not wanting to look over at the painting again at that point, since it was just unsettling him more. He still had... nightmares. The day he had witnessed the end of one of the last Wars...

He didn't like talking about it. That had not been a great day. Everyone on the Isle of Manhattan had been asleep, well all the mortals. The creatures that had been flying through the air, the giant gods fighting... it still haunted him sometimes.

"John, good to see you." Lara was glad for the distraction for the moment at that point, since her mind kept wandering back towards other things. "My day went well, went to the Rapids for a bit and managed to survive. What about you? Did you do anything interesting? Did I miss anything of note?" She smiled a bit at that as she settled down at the table and then looked around a bit at that point.

She was getting a bit worried at that point that she hadn't seen Arnora or Klara at that point, but she doubted they would miss dinner. Though something was feeling odd to her at that point. She swore she saw Elizabeth work her way towards the Thanes, and then she looked off to the side and back to John. Maybe the fact that something was going on, maybe that's why she had been distracted all day. She had no idea truly why she had been fixated on the past that day.

"Hmmm... I do wonder what is going on..." She mused aloud and then sighed a bit as she leaned up against the table. She was getting hungry again. Dinner would be welcome at that point and it would help her push the thoughts out of her mind.

Marco was about to remark on Nancy's comment of 'gagging on a spoon,' since honestly, the girl needed to know what she was experiencing was normal. However, he could realize the seriousness of the moment and so decided having the: "Oh honey you sound Ace to me," talk with Nancy would come later. He stood up and went to head behind the counter. He untied his apron and was about to tuck it away when Waverley spoke. "Yes Waves?" He laughed as he saw her put some coins in the jar and then went to fish his share of the tips out before clocking out. "Thanks Waves. See ya later." His last comment was tossed at his coworker, who simply shrugged at the fact that Marco was clocking out early due to demi-god duties.

As they walked to the Augery, Marco took Em's hand in his and gave it a light kiss before they stepped into the building. Once inside his smile dropped as he saw the painting Alexandra been working on. "By gods..." If this was close to what Nancy had seen earlier, no wonder the Praetor was shook up about this.

He decided that he would be the one to try to wake the sleeping beauty, by walking over and gently shaking Alexandra's shoulder. "Alexandra... we need to see your guidance."

Lara stepped off the elevator and then sighed a bit as she looked around and did not see Klara nor Arnora at that moment of time. She frowned a bit at that as she had wanted to see her friends, but well maybe she would go sit with her fellow floor mates and enjoy talking with them over dinner. She did look up and spotted that there were Valkyries there, which wasn't uncommon, but one of them seemed excited for some reason, a huge grin plastered on her face. Lara had to wonder if that meant that someone new would be joining them.

Lara still remembered her own feast with clarity, even though that had been nearly eighty Midgard years ago... It would be eighty soon, that she knew. It had been over seventy years and each year that passed it just hurt a little less. Meeting others like her had helped, and even meeting her father the one time had helped her.

She shifted a bit as she tried to look around for the new face, wanting to greet and welcome them. She would happily invite them to live on her floor if they did not have a room yet.
