I want to call the band "Grey Summer" in recognition of Jean Gray and Scott Summers, but the name itself is ambiguous to an particular genre. I was thinking Alex would par off vocals with her for male and female songs. They could start with covering songs everone knows until hey start writing their own.

So! Thoughtful arc and I wanted your opinions A SMALL 3 post arc or so in the future, an x-men level event occurs in our neighborhood so the teachers arrange for the students to travel to the location to function as crowd control while the heavy hitters do what they do.
This gives the players an opportunity to Rolelay one of the big guns for a few posts and perhaps act as inspirations for your characters. I'm not sure who here plays MMO's but it would be like going on a one-time event and being handed a epic-tier character to play around in for getting a taste of power.
Thoughts? ALSO! Who wants something specific to target your characters? I was thinking of Mr. Sinister coming to raid the school for new DNA samples for his experiments. This will be an excellent way to remove characters who have dropped out and possibly bring them back as villains.

No problem, I was thinking for some are not good with self reciprocating combat posts. When I did my creative writing and short story classes, I ALWAYS get hung up on dialog because I am the omnipotent 3rd who knows all so everyone always says just the right thing at just the right time... It's my writing flaw.

@knighthawk you do realize that I just posted, like, 3 posts before yours or something? I'm kind of waiting for things to move one here, not abandoning anything.
Deepest apologies, had meant to slip your name down to the next row as one of the posted. the 'all' statement was cause I had grouped shields in as well for nathan but the obvious redundancy I took him back out. I will edit my comment.

I'm weighing in both as the outsider looking in with only a single post, but also as someone who has known lantern for years. Hell, I remember congratulating him on his son being born.
Kid, I completely understand your wanting to keep the action intense and the pressure on, we appreciate that. You can either have a few strong opponents or lots of weak ones. Let us take them out a wave at a time, let our stupid plans work once but not over and over. If we have waves of hard opponents, our characters are not good enough yet to handle it, ESPECIALLY with a Talon as well. Let our actions have meaning to take them out by the dozens and simply have more take their place. You are acting to our actions, not reacting to our actions. it seems inane, but its like the video game where you can not see the enemy health bar or any damage above their head, we as players have no way to gauge if we are being effective or not. Yes, you gave us a huge hint in turning up the noise to disorient them, then they should be acting disoriented.
Just me and only me, I'd day freeze them all who are covered in water and shatter them with the sonic scream.

Just to let you know, I am serious about offering to be the co-GM if it is needed. I'd like to think my plethora of questions and ideas would be good for the game and then I could simply ask permission to run with an idea rather than ask for your ruling on every stray thought that strikes me.
I actually love the idea of you stepping up into the co-gm position. I just got promoted at my job and have to handle a ton of digital marketing on top of what I already do and so it would be great to have another set of eyes and ears helping out xD.

Reducing the rifle to a pistol would be acceptable/encouraged,
Light armor is no big
grappling launcher is no big,
communicator is no big,
Knife is no big,
Airspeeder could be problematic unless he built it from junk himself, but at least he isn't asking for his own ship to start.
