I'll totally suck as Beast Boy, but I'd like to go for 'em too.

I hate that Beast Boy barely spoke or had screen time besides being a green animal attacking bad guys in season 2...

Then i'd suggest to focus on the teen titan beastboy, he had a lot of complication to him I found. Part of his 'comical' aspects of shape shifting are a lot of subconcious animal cues, his fight or flight was always cranked up to 11 so it takes him quite a bit of effort to keep it under control.

I'm leaving it up to either you or the future team captain of the Zetas to decide how the base is affected by the earthquake. Personally, I nominate Necron for the captain position. Phantom Leech is too unfocused. Chauncey, seems more like the muscle of the group. And Ark's moral compass doesn't quite qualify his for leadership among this particular set of characters.

Thomas tried hard to not have a case of 'resting murder-face' as someone from her past said hi to Carol. He hadn't seen him in their group, so it must have been someone who left her behind. That earned someone named [u]Oliver[/u[] a black mark in his book. He wasn't jealous, not in that way, he had asked Carol out before and she turned him down. He figured someday she might want to take him up on it. He considered asking her to his senior ball, but he hadn't acted on it yet. He also thought of asking Sani as well to keep keep up her social image until she came out of the closet on her own.

"Leave it alone. Let it burn itself out! The fire will go out. It doesn't have anywhere to go. Let's get to the cafe before class starts. I need to grab a bottled water."

She was right, it more startled him than anything. He trusted her and pushed on to the cafeteria, he was already hungry and her request made him even hungrier, he could already see himself there in the cafeteria and for a moment he must have lost his grip on the chair as he lurched forward. Staggering but recovering before head-butting the back of her skull.

He recovered after a moment but was feeling faded it couldn't be low blood sugar, he just ate. Oh well, he wanted more food already, this just confirmed it. As they entered the cafeteria, he saw oliver again and tried to push past him before Carol saw him again and got more hurt. She wanted water, but he waned to avoid the drink machines, so he took her to the main line, it was longer but it was further away. If Oliver could read his mind, the word would be 'Traitor.' But he didn't know how in touch this kid was with his third eye chakra. Everyone was psychic, to one degree or another, he just didn't know how aware some were over each other.

"I missed breakfast, I'll buy your water if you wait with me in line. Which reminds me, How much do you put into...dreams?"

He was still waiting for a few moments more while tricking on the corner when he saw one of the reasons he stool out here walked by. It was one of the cheerleaders who chose just then to heft her book bag up in front of her face as she passed him. ~Feet pue tan!~ He didn't say creole out loud as he didn't want is accent to be another thing to be made fun of but it helped when he took french freshman and junior year with Japanese in sophmore as well as this year. She was striking that familiar chord with him, but it must just be because of who she was, a cheerleader, Carbon-copy-cookie-cutter-clueless-clique.

His moody brood vanished as the bus he recognized pulled up and Carol came down off the lift. As she came up to him, she turned herself around and he took the offer to push her by setting his board in her hands before taking the handles and pressing forward. "Do you ever get tired of sitting out here day after day? Do you get breaks?" He lowered his head down to the side of her head and did his best overly dramatic voice. "I'm the hero this school deserves, but not the one it needs right now."

He laughed and cleared his throat as he steered towards the school caffeteria for some late breakfast, maybe just a thing of Hashbrowns, he was feeling kind of light and deeded something heavy to weigh him down. "Hey Carol, not to sound weired, But I had a dram about -FIRE!" He pointed to the trash can licking with flames and looked around for the nearest fire extinguisher.
