So, guys. I'm sorry for not being more active today. I even brought my laptop to work to try to post on the collabs, but they stole my break to have me fix some random problem at a couple of workplace PCs, so I couldn't do nothing.

I'm going home from college now and will add on as many of them as possible. To make up for the most time.

Well, if you give me a set of limitations and some basic objectives to adhere to, I can probably think up of something fun in my plentiful spare time.

Well, I would appreciate it very much, to say the truth. The thing is that those, missions should lead to hints at the main plot, which is indeed about an ancient evil coming back after ages.

There's a group of NPCs that are dedicated to foil whatever is it that you, players, should do, so these missions are more like ways of them gaining time and distracting you all. That's why they tend to be a bit lame, because the Anti-Chasers are really trying to make you all go on a wild-goose chase.

Nevertheless, most of the missions will lead you to either a direct confront with them, or to a piece of intelligence on their plans. Did you got the picture?

The opposite of love isn't hate. It's apathy. Rui-Ling's hatred just shows how much he cares for the washboard hag that helped him first get settled in Sonomachi~

And they probably dislike simple missions because it doesn't feel like there's much plot to be gotten out of it. Sorta like the difference between a fetch quest from some random NPC and a chain quest that ties in with the main storyline.

I get your point. I never said that Rui dislikes Chikage. It's more like he's Oreki from Hyouka and Chikage is his Chitanda.

As for the quests, I gotta be sincere in that they aren't the main part of the storyline, just a way to distact you all while the plot unfolds in a more natural way. That's why I can't seem to come up with any interesting looking ones and am forever locked, while trying to find a way to entertain you all while the story builds steam.

Also, I'm brainstorming things with Windel now, and the best course of action seems to be coming up to shape. I'll have the story kick in in no time.

Lucifer is also an impressive one vs small group fighter. In normal gear and no armour, he's certainly one of the better warriors. But Agent 47 would never strap on 65 pounds of combat gear and go wild. He's usually in a suit and in tight spaces such as buildings.

Fighting small groups with small arms in enclosed enviroments with no actual military equipment? Lucifer did this only a couple of pages ago with his knife and the mooks from Amnesia: Machine For Pigs! But you rarely see Agent 47 or Ezio or the like (the kind which Lucifer emulates) get in warzones. The few times they did, they were there to kill someone then flee. Run in, stab neck, get out.

He's not annoyed with hard training. He expects hard training. But he doesn't see where it's going or what the point is. He's also annoyed because he feels like he's being yelled at for trying to help.

By the way, folks I'll try to bring the missions yet today, I'm just thinking about their nature, since people seem to be discontent with simple missions, for some reason that eludes me.

What you have to remember is that Luci comes from an old-fashioned world. He's a part of a group, and indeed an actual historical orginisation best known for sending lone agents on a suicidal surgical strikes. He doesn't see assassining as something you do in a warzone, it's all cloaks, daggers and disguises. Sniping someone from a far-away building, sneaking into their compound to murder them in their sleep and grinding glass and arsenic into their food are all, to him, assassin techniques. Assailing fortresses and getting into scraps are the sign of a failed Fedayeen.
I think I said it before, but Luci sees his job as 'in, kill, out'. Not saying that's how real assassins work, but that's how this group works. Think 'Hitman' style killings, where no-one should knkw the guy died until their office starts smelling funny.

And even then, Hitman's 47 is a an impressive fighter in his own right that has gone through training from hell that actually killed the ones who failed, so... you bring your argument to a logic fault, my friend.
