The first and yet the most powerful machine known to mankind, if it weren't for her discovery among ruins of old, mankind would never have achieved the current level of advancement that allowed the development of the Machina. Pretty much everything about Eos' past, the purpose she was built for and even how most of her systems work, remains a mystery even though she has been the overseer of the Machina for eons.

Even though Eos shows little to no emotion, she's committed to fight for the Machina, which she regards as sons and daughters as well as push back the threat represented by he other factions of the Triumvirate. It's said that the High Queen has a relationship with a being that is on an even higher order of existence than even the most powerful inhabitants of the Nexus (including herself). If that's true or not, no one may never know for the High Queen refuses to talk about such private matters with anyone that's not her equal.

~Victoire~

Name: Victoire Bordeaux.
Title: Blood Countess.
Age: Unknown.
Gender: Female.
Race: Half-Vampire (Primordial)/Succubus.
Faction: Demons of Hell.
Height: 149 cm.
Weight: 52 kg.

Personality: To most, Victoire may appear to be cold and uncaring as well as an egotistical and cruel sadist, to the point of being hard to not label her as textbook a sociopath. While this stands true nine tenths of the time, Victoire is also capable of some rare moments of mercifulness, mostly when the act pleases her somehow there by, she is most certainly not being selfless in anything that she does.

History: Victoire's origins, like many other of the Nexus' inhabitants, are hard to trace. It's known that she wasn't born there but, instead she came answering the summons of the self-aware plane and coming to inhabit a massive estate close to the border between the Demon Realm and the Human Realm where a blood red moon decorates the perpetual night sky forever.

Once upon a time, the Countess took notice of an Angelic congregation built for humans and lesser demons who had being converted by the heavenly pests, being built on the outskirts of her domains close to a village that she had tolerated for far longer than she really should, mainly for the constant source of food it presented, and took action to wipe such an unsightly wart off of her doorstep.

After dispatching all of the vermin polluting her sight, with extreme prejudice, Victoire found herself attracted to a low grumble as well as the sounds of struggle coming from behind the altar. There she found a werewolf, bound by chains of gleaming silver to the idol. Just as Victoire stared blankly at the eyes of the enraged beast, set for sacrifice, the horns of the heavenly reinforcement sent to get rid of her rang loud. Lifting her right hand to meet the werewolf's face, filling his vision with her rose-shaped ring, Victoire said words that she thought she would never use:

"I'll give you a choice. Pledge your loyalty to me and live or, die and be forgotten..."

The beast's answer goes without saying as he did his one final effort to bite the chains holding him, to the point of drawing blood just to kiss his savior's ring, sealing the pact. As a proof of his pledge, a mark shaped like a choker of rose vines on his throat, marking the beast forever as Victoire's servant.

And the rest, as is said, is history...

Powers: Aside from the vast repertory of powers granted to Victoire by both of her heritages, she also has mastery over the dark arts, allowing her to control and play with her opponents, using an array of powers based on blood magic and her signature bloody rose magic.

Even thought Victoire isn't fond of stain her hands, she sholdn't be underestimated even with her bare hands and eve if that doesn't work, she has one final trick in the form of her ability to summon her strongest familiar, the werewolf which she bound into a pledge of loyalty a long time ago, the only one allowed to have the title of Victoire's Knight.

Weapons: Vampire-Killer (Corrupted): a whip that was bestowed upon Victoire's custody by an unknown source. This is a most powerful weapon meant to destroy all forms of evil with a mere touch though, in truth, it's enchanted to destroy any target not of mundane origins. Victoire seems to take a great deal of sadistic pleasure when using this weapon which steals her opponents life force with each successful contact.

Equipment: Ring of Roses: A special signet ring owned by Victoire, it does amplify all of her powers, but it's true usage is to force anyone that kisses it, willingly or not, into complete obedience to Victorie. The ring's curse actually doesn't rob the will of its targets but, instead places a mark on their body and soul, dare they defy the terms established by Victorie upon their pledge, the mark turns into a wreath of rose vines, killing them slowly and in a very painful way.

The rate of growth of the vines is directly proportional to the breach in the pledge and only a command from Victoire can cause the vines to recede or lift the curse altogether. Depending on the terms of the pledge, it can even last past a recipient's death and possible resurrection, making Victoire's ring a truly dreadful instrument since it can potentially trap a target that defied her to a great extent in an eternity of endless agony that even the relief of death cannot undo.

People, I have an announcement to do. From now on, you all are better to keep in mind the 01 post, 01 minutes, 02 actions rule when engaged in PVP combat. If you don't, you'll be editing a lot of posts from this point forward, since no one seems to care for it and just think that they can waltz through the battlefield at-will.

Any combat posts that don't fit this will be ignored until edited. That's just a friendly reminder.

Deep Ground Online (Hiatus)

Honestly, I'm probably bringing this up too late, but I might as well voice my issues. I've been talking with some people about the recent interactions between Abyss Walker and Eclipse Princess, and someone mentioned how it didn't make a lot of sense. Abyss had snuck off, and then all of a sudden Eclipse is there just in time to attack. KoL then proceeds to have Eclipse Princess auto-attack Abyss without waiting for a response. I won't get into the logical inconsistency of being able to attack a character like AW twice without response, but I will instead mention that it's kind of a dick move. I get it, I take a while to post, and you really wanted to post, but couldn't you just be patient? And isn't auto-attacking like that kind of Godmodding? You are taking control of the opposing characters actions in the sense that you are assigning them no action, disallowing the opponent from acting.

I might as well mention that your character seems a tad OP, KoL. In my personal opinion at least, but feel free to disregard that. You may be a Co-GM, but rules apply to everyone, right?

I guess you can just disregard all of this, KoL. It's just me complaining about technical rule-breaking, but I'm sure there are other people who agree with me. You don't really have to change your posts, since it's not the biggest issue to me, and given how long it's been since you made them. I'm just airing my pointless grievances.
