As always, I'll be posting around this weekend. Just dropping to let this notice.
@KoL@TheWindel

Not bad. I think he's mostly ok. In fact the powers he have will be useful for when the story progresses a bit more. It would be cooler if his halberd had some form of additional weaponry, like being a chainsaw with a Machina level shotgun or flame thrower or cannon, etc on it, though.

As is, he's ok by me. Wait for further judgment from @TheWindel. Also, mind that his ability to negate magic might fail on certain beings.
So who's still alive in this battle?

Only Ni-Mu, Cydone, Abigail and Alexi died up to now. For an all out fight the casualty numbers is quite small, to say the truth.

Saving Ira would certainly spare Victoire from becoming a blood stain on the wall by the replacement.

Go for it

If I do that, my idea is to have Victoire teleport Ira out of there, considering that neither of them doesn't die first. That's why I was thinking if it was going to be ok to do that.
I wonder if I should have Victoire save Ira or not? Henry too, for that matter. The chances of the Demons winning this fight are nearly zero, but Victoire certainly can do more. At least the sensation of stealing someone else's victory will be good for her.
I'm still here, obviously. But I agree that a quick status check child be beneficial, given how long its been since some people last posted.
I'll try to post before Friday, but I can't really be sure of that. I'm on the first week of mid terms on college, so my able time is very short. Still not enough to completely halt my online activity, but I don't have much to squander as well.

If ask goes well, I may try to do a quick reply tomorrow, but I need to go sleep now. I'll see about that when I wake up.
Nice. I'll try to reply yet tomorrow.
Vessels

Putting it simply, what is called Vessels by many are in fact portions of their users' soul. Their crystalized will made manifest. For this reason, each of them is unique in its abilities and potential even so all of them work under a certain few guidelines, or better, rules that seem to apply to all magic users.

A Vessel will always have at least two different forms, the Dormant (or Standby) form and an Active form. A more skilled and or powerful user may have access to more numerous or complex forms but this is very rare for all but the most elite users.

Each of the two forms may have access to different abilities and powers, but the Standby form will always have a mundane appearance and generally simple functions. Ex: a cloak that grants better protection against the weather, a pair of boots that will never wear from normal usage, a piece of jewelry, or anything in between.

The Active form will usually take the shape of another object (more often than not a weapon or defensive gear) that allows the user to unleash their true powers. These powers can come in nearly any shape, from control over the elements to incredible strength and durability, summoning, invisibility, healing, etc. The possibilities of a Vessel's power are nearly limitless. Their only limitation is that they'll always reflect their user in one way or another, for that reason they tend to be highly thematic abilities.
Lance Corporal Eris Reinhardt
Fort Breda ❖ Downtime

"Thank you, Sir! I'll be honored to serve on Squad Four," Eris said after having her having been officially introduced to Sergeant Harald. Leaving the two officers to discuss some documents, as she asked permission to leave, in the typical roundabout military way she learned about during her officer training. "Is there anything else I can do for you, Sir?"

Eris certainly hoped they wouldn't dump those documents on her, considering her training and life experiences, which made her quite good at filling forms and sorting papers. But, if that happened, so be it. "After all, whatever happens, happens. I'm already on the Militia, what else could happen?" Eris silently questioned herself, while hoping that she would get dismissed and could join a circle with less pressure, like that of the duo of women sitting on a table not so far away from there.
