@KoL

Helena is trying to make us turn our backs on our respective leaders, Eos, Iona, whoever is running he'll at the time, etc, though our true objective should be the people like the Jester or at least those who are his close counsel in this world. Granted I don't think anyone but the Big Three are even aware of his existence, though I imagine this would be the battle where we figure that out.

Hmm. Mesa wondering if perhaps I could have Endian recruit everyone here for his WAAARGH!....

Well, that's actually not the case at all. This is exactly what Helena wants to do. Her plan isn't that complex, but it doesn't rely on anyone who doesn't know of the Jester & Co.

If you pay attention to what has been said IC in the last few posts I did, you'll notice that a lot of the answers for your doubts are there.
I mean I get Helena's intentions, sorta, but in usual KoL fashion she communicates it poorly. Are the Big Three puppets? Yeah. Are we suppose to overcome the puppet masters? Yeah. Are the Big Three the puppet masters? No but Helena didn't tell us that.

I'm all up for fighting against a higher power though. Just gotta get Grafdakka's WAAARGH! going.

Still don't get it. Helena's message is quite straightforward. You all are probably trying to see more than she meant to say.

If someone could explain this to me in a direct way, I could clarify it (if needed) but as is, I don't see a problem with it.
I'll have another reply around tomorrow or so. We probably won't overextend this village interlude for very long, it's just some time for your characters to unwind a little. We shall be moving back to the main story around this weekend or so.
Is anyone else slightly confused by Helena?

"Your masters are puppets! This means that overthrowing them will solve all your problems."
"Um.. Wouldn't we need to overthrow the puppetmasters?"

I can't see what's wrong here.
Diana was getting puzzled with all that was happening at once inside of this god forsaken prison. Sure, she could understand why someone would want to imprison a monster such as she. Everyone around her looked to be quite dangerous as well, to say the truth. But still, something seemed off. She was clearly forgetting some important information, yet the more Diana tried to remember, the more it escaped her.

Once two more beings found their way to Khaine and Diana, the smallish dragon girl crossed her arms before her chest and closed her eyes. Diana had a pensive look on her face which didn't last much. Khaine's greeting to the first of the two beings force Diana to jump between the two of them. "Hey, hey, can't we drop the shoot first ask later attitude for a moment? I mean, all of us are in the same boat here, aren't we? At least let us hear —it?— first before pointing weapons at one another," she said to Khaine with a stern look in her eyes.

"I mean, we will have better chances of getting out of this place if we work together, won't we?" Diana added.

Once Titanica came out from the direction Diana and Khaine were originally traveling towards, Diana turned her head to face the bigger lizard woman. The evident marks of a recent battle caught Diana's eyes, just as much as the deathly smell emanating from the lizard-like being. Yet, this wasn't enough reason to do any uncalled for aggression.

"Ok, ok, this is starting to get crowded. Still, it's no reason to do anything too harsh, is it?" Diana said, trying to cool the tempers before anything could happen. "Since mutual trust is the first step in any negotiation, how about we begin by introducing ourselves, huh? Right? Well then, let us begin."

"I'm Diana. I don't know very much else except that I have an important mission to do and very important person to meet. But, I can't remember anything about them," Diana said, pointing to herself. "And this one's Khaine, he's a Not-Knight that doesn't like to talk very much but. And he's looking for something deeper in that direction," Diana pointed to Khaine and them to the direction from which Titanica came from, "If you know of anything suspicious in that direction, please tell us. It would be very helpful."
"Well now, I didn't think that my dear Titanica would be so easily defeated by Iona while the later was pulling her punches considerably. It does not change much of my plans, though. I guess it's just the price to pay for your hubris, my dear. It shall be a good lesson for her future," Helena said to herself after she observed the outcome of the duel between Titanica and Iona. Indeed that was a lesson to remember for the being that thinks that she's so 'speshul' that she can sleep for thousands of years and still be of any relevance in the great scheme of things. Helena could only snicker thinking of what would happen when Titanica met with a true monster like Juno or that Checkers bitch. "I should probably get some popcorn when the time comes. Hehehe."

"I digress. No matter how much I enjoy to see the fall of the prideful, Titanica is not the reason why I'm here," Helena said, getting back to work on her actual objective before the forces of the Nexus could kill one another —if they were even going to do so.

The dark spheres that Helena scattered around when Titanica and Iona were about to begin their duel found their way to the side of every being inside of the Oblivion Dungeon, penetrating any illusions they may have. That first they hovered about silently, but not long after that, Helena's voice would come from them. "It's a pleasure to have so many of you attend to my summons. I believe it's about time for me to offer you a token of my appreciation and reveal the true reason why you received this invitation," she said in a calm and collected voice, almost as if she were reading those words from a slip of paper.

"I came to offer you a deal. The chance to escape the ties that bind you to your fate. To take the reins of your destiny," Helena said as her image began to come more and more discernible to those listening to her words. The vampire's right hand was extended in an offering gesture as if she waited to seal a pact with those who accepted her words. "This world is a land of cruel gods that manipulate your lives for their own entertainment. They do not, or want not, to care for your existence as long as their games keep on being played the way they want to. Your so beloved Triumvirate is a fake. Their leaders, barely more than birds in a gilded cage. Or perhaps... not all of them," she said, regarding a certain lettuce-haired leader of Hell.

"I preach the words of a grand revolution. Take your gods down from their thrones of might, burn their temples and raise a new world from its foundation. I offer you my aid. Transform this world in the utopia which you seek by deposing your flawed moral guardians. Accept my offer and join me on this festival of redemption!"

Once she said all she had to, Helena's image became silent, waiting for the reactions of those who she talked to.
You have yet to know of the madness that is to deal with @TheWindel-sama in a daily basis.
Since there's not so much for Eris to do on her own, except meeting her sister in a very abridged scene, anyone who wants to hang around with her is welcome.

By the way, I hope that my post was alright. If there's something I need to change, please tell me.
Eris Reinhardt
"I'm beginning to get worried that this 'vacation' may be more than it seems," Eris said to herself as soon as she they reached the hotel. Those accommodations were far too glamorous to be the reward of a Squad of low-ranking militia such as they. There had to be a catch somewhere. Eris wasn't going to get paranoid over it, though. Whether there was a catch to it or not, she was part of the squad, thereby her fate was tied to theirs.

Assuming that there would be no complications for them to get to their rooms, aside from a disdainful clerk. Eris' first task upon arriving at her room was take a nice and hot bath. As expected from such a first-class hotel, everything was as luxurious as it seemed. Eris felt compelled to take a towel as a souvenir, however she couldn't simply steal it.

Perhaps, using Lord Barst's name could convince the hotel staff to give her one?
Either way, as soon as was Eris was done with her bath, she came back to the lobby. The silver-haired young woman who was dressed in proper civilian clothes now, waited the rest of the squad to come back as well, wondering if Hunt would have any more orders for them before they could leave.

"Hmm, I wonder what should I buy as gift for Eins? I can't come for a surprise visit with empty hands, after all," Eris thought out loud. While she waited, Eris couldn't avoid to nervously check herself, wondering if everything was ok with her looks.
@KoL

Yes, I did just have him go straight to bed and skip the Commander's orders. And skip saluting Eris.

Fight me.
