Well, since it looks like I'll have the time to do a character for this, I guess that I should ask which of the ideas I came up with should work better. I have one concept for the main team and one for the antagonists:

The first is an ex-saboteur/assassin that lost their purpose in life after the war ended. This one would likely be a younger member of an saboteur clan that didn't even had the chance to join the war before it ended, raised as a human-weapon but with no battle fight anymore, she would be either a vagabond or brigand by the time Chiyuri meets her. Possibly a "Robin Hood" type of character.

The second is a Princess from a small foreign nation that has been subjugated and effectively dissolved by the Empire in the past. I have two ideas that could work with this, one more based on Romania and another being more Eastern in aesthetic (my favorite between the two, if it can fit the setting). Regardless of the nature of the nation, said Princess would be working with Tinnec as an effort to try to rebuild her nation even though she's aware that's a nigh impossible task. Likely, she wouldn't hold any particular prejudice against the main party once they meet, being more of a tragic antagonist than an outright villain. At least the Oriental inspired version, the Romanian inspired one would be more shady, but not really villainous as well.

Either way, which of these would work better for the purposes of the RP?
No worries.

Also, welcome back.
Im fairly new to this system actually, so I may need help balancing her. Anyway-- its early morning here so ill put more details later~

Glad you like it!

One thing I can say to you is, try to not car too much to numbers. The vast majority of the RPs on the Guild don't use dice or any other form of RNG-based system. As long as everyone is being honest, they should know the limits of their characters and avoid auto-hitting or other forms of godmodding (control the outcome of interactions between your character and one that doesn't belong to you, on your own w/o permission).

It's all about writer's skill and common sense, I should say.
@Migyudon

Oh, don't worry, I wasn't actually suggesting anything that you should do to your character, just replying to the other comments. The wires dangling from bloody flesh can be unpleasant, indeed. But, as almost anything, it may be handled in many ways depending on the writer's skill.
@Migyudon You can use magnetism as a really versatile ranged attack, all you gotta do is make it stronger so you can throw stuff that'll actually deal damage. You could even make an improvised rail-gun if you already have magnetism, just get a metal tube and something else metal that'll fit, and it'll make a pretty damn good ranged attack.

You could even limit the better ranged attack stuff to when you use your tablet skill, if you have to.

You don't need a conductor to make a railgun, really. Also, a tube would be far more like a coilgun, than a railgun (there's a difference between the two of them). All you'd to make a railgun is the ability to break the electrical resistance of the air and create a "rail" of ionized air to apply the current to and... you have this:

@KoL
Fair enough, I read it as the electricity comes from the wires which are embedded in her body. Which is pretty dope but I don't know how they are going to fire lightning bolts without cutting themselves open... or maybe that's the point.

I kinda see it more as Frankenstein's Monster, to say the truth. Especially with the potential for body horror being there as well because of subcutaneous wires and technology focus.

Shooting electricity isn't that weird in such a concept:

@Migyudon
The only things I can see as being problems is the age and the whole "actual wires in the skin" thing. We're a bunch of highschool kids with superpowers as a focus of the RP, and the wires in the veins thing would just electrocute your blood to death. Would probably flow better if your Electric Surge ability is something that you either do as a class ability or through purely technological means.

Discounting the fact that the wire part can easily go into body horror territory (I mean, if she get's hurt a bunch of bloody wires would be poking and dangling from her skin and tissues), I don't think that it has any actual problem given that we aren't going realist on any accounts here.

The age may indeed be an obstacle for character interaction, but it depends mostly on the player's skill to overcome it, so it's not supposed to be that much of an issue.
Shocking.
@snake153

Well, isn't that a coincidence? I was thinking of using that same character as an oni themed PC before settling down for Aria. That actually made me laugh.

Anyway, so many monster hunters... poor Aria will have a hard time making friends when she's because of her everyday girl's persona.
@Viatos

That was actually a joke, since she's a fairly mundane (if only a bit quirky) girl.

There's nothing that I dislike on Aria.
