I'm going to have to take a break for awhile. One of my dogs just passed; we went to bed together like we always do and when I woke up she was gone. I feel awful right now.

Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

One of my relatives that had gone missing was found deceased today—apologies if I don't get to replies in a timely manner.

I just recently tried mountain dew baja blast for the first time.

Baja blast is good. Glad that they finally decided not to make it Taco Bell exclusive anymore, even if they do limited runs.

There's another one Taco Bell has but I can't remember the name of it right now. It's some kind of red dew if my memory is correct, but it isn't code red. Came out not that long ago.
I've been interested in roleplay for years now. I started out pretty young in a format like this (play-by-post) but eventually got into tabletop roleplays as well. Despite not being very good at it and not having very many people who want to play it with me, I took an interest in Dungeons and Dragons and even wanted to create a scenario all my own. But again, I'm not very good at it.
The last site I used for my roleplays is kind of dying. It has been for a while now. Less and less people get on it and it can be hard to find a RP that isn't 200-400 pages in, and those can be kind of hard to join and get into. I'm hoping that with this site I will find the enjoyment I had when I first discovered roleplay and will be able to once again participate in it regularly.

Welcome to the guild. If you're looking for D&D or tabletop in general, we do have quite the active tabletop section. It's mostly D&D 5e, though.
Took about four months but I've kind of lost interest in the new MW.

Damascus grind is annoying; I was going to go for it and already have a decent amount of golden weapons but the amount of challenges, the type of challenges (looking at you mounted and longshot kill camos) and the kills required for some camos is just tedious as fuck. On top of that there's like 40-50 guns in the game and you have to level them to max level to even start unlocking some camos, which is dumb.

Gameplay is half/half. It's a mix of campers, sweaty tryhards dropshotting your ass every time they see you, and being blasted from corners you literally just checked or from some hidey-hole across the map. Maps are horrid e.g. Picadilly outside a select few (like Shoot House) and I have no idea why they decided to make the majority of the maps just absolutely huge and with dozens of doors and windows. The teams are usually 6v6 or 5v5; why do we need a map the size of the United States? Gunplay is fun though, and I do dig the gunsmith feature. And before I forget--for the love of god just give us back prestige; these officer ribbons are tedious and boring to complete.

Campaign was meh. Shout out to Activision for saying the Highway of Death, an American war crime IRL, is the Russians fault lmao. But yeah, didn't really care for it and only played for the operatives you get from beating the game. Honestly wish they just gave us MW4 instead of this rebooted story line nonsense. The darker moments and the night time missions were cool, though. Would kill for a Clean House-like Spec Ops mission, where the building is randomly generated and you gotta clear it with your buddies.

Coop is something I want to get more into but the AI difficulty is waaaaaaaaaaay too hard. Every time I've tried it my team always gets wiped the fuck out in the coop missions, so I've mainly stuck to multiplayer.

Can't judge Warzone/BR yet because I haven't played it and I've never really played BRs so I'd probably be useless in that game mode.

Anyway that's everything I can think of off the top of my head. I don't think the game is necessarily bad, but there are a lot of glaring issues that Activision seems loathe to fix, especially when they either are silent and don't say anything or take several weeks to even reply to someone, which by then they've either fixed the problem or can't do anything about it because too much time has passed (like what happened to me with s1 and the juggernaut officer ribbon). They do need to stop the shadow changes and report everything in an update log, though. The massive patches that literally break your system or force you to delete shit to even download the update need to stop too, especially when they hardly have actual content in them. Don't get me wrong, I love getting content updates, but there's hardly anything worthwhile that drops. Like c'mon, we're still rotating roughly the same map pool as we were when the game launched.
^^^ Probably better fit in the section @Inkarnate linked but oh well.

To answer the topic at hand, however: Spotify integration would be wonderful, honestly. Kinda like how we can link to youtube videos on the guild.

Add more colors that you can use in a rp

Breaking the thread rules here, but the guild already has every color available. You just need the hexcode since only some colors are available by their actual name e.g. green or yellow.
I probably drink more coffee than cocoa and tea combined.

Opposite here. I usually have one or two cups per day, but other than that it's strictly water and tea for me (sometimes juice if we have it) unless I bother going out and get a soda.
Welcome to the guild.
Time to reinstall M&B, I guess.

Calradia: Brother Wars

Gather around the fire, lads, and let me tell you the story of the Brother Wars, and King Harlaus' downfall.

It had begun on the cusp of the Swadian-Rhodok war. For years and years, the Rhodok question had been a point of contention between the Swadian lords and King Harlaus. Though the mountain men had been granted the land following the end of the Rhodok revolt, the Swadians viewed it as a stain on their kingdom. How could they allow the traitorous dogs to continue to farm and hunt on the land that should've been "rightfully" theirs?

They had to have it back, lest they bring shame to their ancestral houses. And so, they prepared.

What happened next was simply apocalyptic. Though the Swadians had made a fierce charge into the Rhodok heartland, having learned from their past failures, their armies were doomed. Countless villages and towns were razed by the Swadians, their push had been encircled by the Rhodoks, cutting into the Swadian supply lines and entrapping their armies.

With every day that passed, the Swadian armies crumbled further. Men died to wounds and disease, others deserted or mutinied against their lords. King Harlaus was hard pressed by his lords and their men to submit to their foes, but he refused to surrender, raving madly that they could defeat their foes. His refusal earned him in the blade in the back.

Harlaus' death brought forth a power struggle within the Swadian aristocracy, turning brothers into foes and wives into widows. Blades were hidden behind false words, seeking glory that was not theirs to take. Despite the chaos, nevertheless, perhaps there was a light in the darkness. Lady Isolla of Suno, the niece of Harlaus and whose rightful throne he stole, saw the ensuing power vacuum as a chance to reinstate her claim, and sallied out for Praven, the capital of Swadia, from deep within the Kingdom of Vaegirs where she had been seeking support for her claim.

But even if she is the true heir, who in Calradia would be crazy enough to follow a deposed leader into battle? Only time will tell us.

If you've made it this far, thanks for reading!

This RP, if it isn't already obvious, is situated in the Mount and Blade universe, particularly the Warband era. The characters in question will be serving Isolla as her banner men, being hired blades or vassalized lords sworn to her name. The end goal of this RP will be putting her on the throne, but the core of the RP will be the journey and struggles that our characters go through on their way, from sieging castles to fighting bandits to the clashing cultures of various characters.

With the idea itself being rather basic, I doubt there's much more to explain (outside of perhaps the RP's background info), but if anyone happens to have any questions, I'm willing to answer any anyone has.
