There was an uneasy air between Haleigh and Katja. It wasn't so much tense, but more so just plain awkward.

Haleigh hated herself for it. She was the reason things were awkward between them; Katja was simply worried for her and acted out of concern. And yet nonetheless Haleigh brushed Katja off as she tried to dance around her worries. If only she didn't have these stupid powers, Haleigh thought. They were a heavy weight on her shoulders, as if she was about to be buried under them just like before. She wouldn't look and feel like a nervous wreck if they were gone. She wouldn't have others taking pity on her, like Haleigh was a lost puppy. And most of all, she'd be able to walk again; to be "normal" once more without the looming threat of devastation following closely behind.

Before Haleigh could wallow anymore in her depressed state, the sound of someone whistling snapped her back into reality. She looked around for the source, only to realize the whistler had been Katja. The song was foreign to Haleigh, but whatever the tune was, it sounded nice, and for the first time in a long while, she found herself smiling.

As the two approached the intake building, however, Haleigh was suddenly cut off by the rest of their teammates, whilst Katja went ahead and continued onwards. She felt ambushed, caught off guard by the sudden onslaught of "soccer" and "FIFA". Why was he apologizing? Had they been talking about her? It was all overwhelming, enough for her to begin retreating back into the shell she had just begun to come out from.

"Huh?" Haleigh stuttered. "FIFA? I'm not sure I've ever... played it." She continued, clearly trying to find an out.

I might be interested if my RP dosen't take off. How do you, motherfucking, feel about the supernatural at all, kindred? Because I'm down with that kind of stuff. I mean in terms of very low level: Like a supposed psychic playing with tarots and getting vague cards referencing something to come or happening that they couldn't know about or psychic that get vibes when something big is happening?

In terms of brain bursts, comrade. What if there are different zombie viral strains that take different periods of time - or conditions - to transform someone into a zombie. Like, we have the standard flu one that slowly just turns you into a zombie .But there are people who say...have a version of intense rash that only turns when they are actually killed. Maybe a few more, like maybe a parasite got exposed to the virus and somehow merged with it so when people get infected with that it alters what it does normally.

up the paranoia factor about anyone even slightly not healthy and make the means of pre-zombie spread infection more sinister. Maybe like you can have some roles for people pre-infected with these different/ less terminal/ less infectious cases or something.

No, no, and no. It's all too far out from what I intend on doing with this RP. I'm more looking for a standard, TWD-esque zombie apocalypse RP.

Does anyone use their steam trading cards? I just figured to ask in case anyone doesn't and wants to clear out their inventory. I like to collect the badges and stuff to raise my account's level, personally.

Going to give this a bump. I was thinking since this is a neighborhood street focused RP, the sheets would be slightly different than the usual sheet. As in, instead of focusing on one character in question, they'd be modified for a family or the household.

Got back into playing Pokemon Unite, mainly because I'm just waiting for Lapras and Umbreon to be released. Lapras is supposed to come out next month, no idea about Umbreon yet. Things in this game are still insanely overpriced but it's w/e I'm used to it.

I wasn't around for it, but there was an event known as "Guildfall" like 7-8 years ago I think (might have been longer). I don't know much about it, but from what I understand there was an older version of the site that got wiped out and replaced with this one, and stuff from there might've gotten lost. I might not be entirely correct here so take that with a grain of salt. Some of the other members might be able to tell you more about it.

This. This is probably why you can't find your old account, @theend101. The guild essentially had to be remade from scratch because of Guildfall.
