I'm going to have to take a break for awhile. One of my dogs just passed; we went to bed together like we always do and when I woke up she was gone. I feel awful right now.

Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

If you've wound up here, you're probably wondering who I am. You can call me Kuro, although some of you might better recognize me by one of the several other names that I have used in the past throughout the 11-ish years that I have spent on this forum. I'm a middle-twenties retail manager that is still trying to relive the glory days of their roleplay career while balancing a full-time job with an unsatiable need for overtime. I tend to be open to most ideas when it comes to roleplay itself, be it whatever genre, group size, system, etc. That being said, I often gravitate to anything that falls in the following categories: anime, fantasy, slice of life, superhero or survival horror. If you believe that you have an idea that I might be interested in, feel free to shoot me a link; I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can. Hello everyone,
Mr. Skimobile here (Kim for friends, so feel free). I've been play-by-post roleplaying on and off for decades now, from Pokemon to Star Wars to DND, all kinds of genres and settings. I like writing a lot, but I do have a full time job, so I won't be posting every single day. My other hobbies include boxing, painting, reading and running.
I suspect casual/advanced section would be a nice place for me to check out, but I'm not quite sure what the etiquette is regarding joining games. Can I just go into the OOC section and ask to join?

There's multiple ways of joining a game depending on the tag:
- apply (usually the case, write a sheet and see if you're accepted)
- jump-in (just start rping)
- asking (sometimes rps listed as full might have a spot available)

"Sounds great. We'll be waiting for you, then." Kali responded with a gentle smile in return. For what it seemed, word of mouth appeared to do wonders for advertising. Issac certainly would be happy to hear that he would have another happy customer on his hands. On top of that, happy customers often meant big tips, which made Kali especially happy as well.

Interrupting their conversation, Kali's phone vibrated within her pocket, alerting her to a text. It had been from work, with Jeffery asking her to set the dining room for today's service. Will do. Had a bit of a... Kali tapped away at her phone, pondering what word to use. Hiccup on the way to work. I'll be in shortly when the subway gets to my stop.
Pushing send, Kali slid her phone back into her pocket and waited for the train to finally arrive to her stop. Thankfully, it wasn't long before she managed to get her destination (and with no attempted robberies this time!). "No problem." She replied, standing up from her seat. Following the woman out of the tram doors and onto the platform, Kali continued speaking. "I'm there most days, so we'll surely see each other if you stop in sometime soon."
