Current I'm going to have to take a break for awhile. One of my dogs just passed; we went to bed together like we always do and when I woke up she was gone. I feel awful right now.

Had a fun birthday. Had some alligator tail for dinner, overall was pretty good for a place I hadn't been to before. Will start getting back into the groove of things soon.

Hi. If you've wound up here, you're probably wondering who I am.

You can call me Kuro, although some of you might better recognize me by one of the several other names that I have used in the past throughout the 11-ish years that I have spent on this forum. I'm a middle-twenties retail manager that is still trying to relive the glory days of their roleplay career while balancing a full-time job with an unsatiable need for overtime.

I tend to be open to most ideas when it comes to roleplay itself, be it whatever genre, group size, system, etc. That being said, I often gravitate to anything that falls in the following categories: anime, fantasy, slice of life, superhero or survival horror. If you believe that you have an idea that I might be interested in, feel free to shoot me a link; I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can. Sometimes I forget to check my messages, so don't feel bad about pestering me again if I missed it.

I also have a discord server laying around. If we're cool, then I might be willing to a toss an invite your way.

Soon enough, it was time for Kali and Isaac to leave.

"It's not that far of a drive." Kali explained as she waited for Isaac to lock up the restaurant. "But the subway has always been faster than if I were to walk to work." She continued, walking over to where Isaac's vehicle sat in the parking lot. Opening the passenger door, Kali sat down and buckled herself in.

Once Isaac was in the car, Kali pointed at the windscreen towards a nearby street. "You'll want to follow that road for a couple blocks before turning at the light." She told Isaac, placing her purse on her lap as he began to back up. "...And thank you again, Isaac. It's been a... crazy day today. I just hope Jeff will be okay, like the paramedics said he would."
I had a few more questions. I was thinking about playing a family who owns a diner in Huddeen, if that would be alright? Also, how far away are the actual cities from Mulberry street? Like, would someone easily be able to commute back and forth if they worked in the city, or would you say that they're too far for that?

A diner is fine. We had someone in the prior rendition running a local joint in the area.

With Huddeen, I don't have an EXACT position unlike some of my other zombie RPs (for example, #SNB with Rushford being in the place of Liberty Center, Ohio). However, I have done some research, and have plotted out the cities to be roughly half an hour (give or take) from Huddeen. Huddeen itself is to the left of said cities, taking inspiration from places like Amherst, Mont Vernon, New Boston, etc. Expect winding, two way country roads with typical speed limits of 30-35 or so (from my google maps research), so factor that in as you would with your character.

I don't see any issue with your question myself, but if you think at least an hour of drive time for your character daily (back and forth, thirty minutes or so each way) then I would avoid it.

I'm almost interested in Left Behind: Mulberry St. By @Kuro
Always had an interest in post-apocalyptic settings, especially zombie RPs.

The more the merrier. No one has submitted any sheets yet so I'm still looking for people to join.

People tend to act surprised when I tell them I'm 25. The AP manager thought I wasn't even 21 when he needed someone to take care of an alcohol-related issue, and my prior boss was shocked when he asked me to go run cardboard because he thought I wasn't even 18 (the baler is heavy machinery, so minors have limited access to it). It's a mystery to me why people are quick to assume I'm not in my mid-20s, and I doubt I'll ever get the answer.
