Vitesse wished there had been a wall nearby, if only to slam her head against it. She could feel a headache begin to fruit, and internally groaned as Vitesse listened to the others speak up.

Rhyhorn trample me now, Vitesse thought as she listened in agony to André.

He couldn't sound any worse; the socialite tone he radiated tiring to be around. And the Iono cosplayer—Sophfey, apparently—wasn't making it any better with with her awful, cheesy puns. Where did the Pokétopia Foundation find these people? Granted, they were all famous, but why did it have to be them? This was going to be a long boat ride, but hopefully it would be over soon.

"Well, if we want to arrive on time," Vitesse spoke, glancing at the others. "We'll have to leave soon for the island. My Mantine could've had us over there already in probably less time than we've had to wait."

Of course, that was a ridiculous statement reeking of bravado. Her Mantine, the victor of last year's Alolan Pro surfing championship, was certainly fast. But it definitely wasn't that fast. Still, Vitesse hoped her point was made.

"I'm coming!"

A voice shouted from off in the distance, prompting Vitesse to turn around. The yacht captain, a stout fellow with a bushy mustache of his own, hurried down some steps and continued running until he had reached the group of guests. Behind him, a Machamp, presumably owned by the captain, followed closely.

Finally, Tess thought. One more step closer to getting this trip over with.

"I'm huff sorry," He spoke, trying to catch his breath in between words. "There was huff a Snorlax sleeping in the huff road. We had to take huff a detour around huff it."

Producing a clipboard, he flipped a few pages to his copy of the guest list.

"Now, is everyone huff here?" The captain asked, looking at those gathered before him. "Bat Standifur? Kaison Locke? Vitesse Relais?"

"Tess," Vitesse immediately interjected as he called her name, "Please."

"Right," He replied, checking off her name. "My apologies, Ms. Relais."

Turning his gaze back to the others, the captain waited for anyone else to speak up so he could mark the remaining names off his list. As he went down the list, the Machamp moved from behind him and towards the gathered group, attempting to assist with carrying whatever luggage they might've brought with them in one of its four arms.

@Carlyle This'll be the 3rd longest RP i've run the last one I completed a few years ago the longest being Heroes of Olympus going on 6 years now lol.

I had one that ran for some years, but as far as I can remember 300 has been my cap on this site for IC posts. I have yet to have anything break it, but considering we only need 61 more posts, I don't doubt that this RP will be breaking that record.

You know, we all missed this roleplay's first anniversary a few days ago. Surprised it lasted this long, given RPs on RPG tend to die in the first few weeks. It's on track to beat my most posted RP on this site too.

Hurrying inside, it hadn't taken long for the three of them to get out of the way of the ongoing police scene outside the apartment complex. One of the officers had told them to stay safe, but frankly, Kali found it difficult to feel safe. People were attacking each other. Jeff—and Gladys' husband—were bitten by these crazed individuals, like the kid the police had arrested moments earlier. And that's not counting those same officers drawing their guns while they had all been standing right next to them.

All and all, Kali hadn't felt safe not one bit. But at least she was home now, albeit at her neighbor's apartment.

"Thank you, Gladys." Kali replied as Gladys pulled out her keys and let them into her apartment. Taking her neighbor's offer, Kali walked over to Gladys' pantry, and grabbed the package of cookies for the three of them to enjoy. Taking some of the cookies from the package for herself, Kali would then offer some to Isaac and Gladys before setting them down on a nearby table.

"Have you heard anything from Liana?" Kali asked, wondering if Gladys had heard from her roommate recently. "She said she'd be home late tonight, but with everything going on, I can't help but worry about her as well."

I mean, yes. That is a type of 1x1 RP. But that isn't the only version of it. 1x1 is more or less just two people.

I was a part of a long-lasting "single-player" tabletop campaign (albeit with me as the player), so I know what you're talking about. What you're asking is essentially a 1x1 tabletop campaign, which is... well, 1x1. You might have better luck posting this check there since the 1x1 section is definitely more popular than the tabletop section, but either would work, honestly.

As for interest, who knows. I haven't seen much people asking or playing this kind of campaign on here.

Roach is a frequent fixture in the clinic’s waiting room, where he brings levity to a sometimes somber atmosphere by attempting to swipe rubber-encased phones and wallets from unsuspecting clients. His antics often draw laughter, providing a small but much-needed boost to Marina’s weary spirit.

Despite the odds, Marina clings to her dream of keeping the clinic alive, both as a tribute to her parents’ hard work and as a testament to her own resilience. I think the CS is fine, even if it doesn't follow the format everyone else is using (given that I didn't even decide on a format to begin with, it just kind of became the thing).

Yankee summed it up nicely. Not much has happened because of IRL conflicts, holidays and such.
