@Prince of Seraphs - You view Shiro as timid? Huh.

There is some more colorful language I could employ to describe his character but little of it sounds particularly complimentary.
I confess to that contest being personally inspired by the alternate world of Edolas from the anime Fairy Tail. In that case, it was an entire story arc rather than a single episode.

Oh, and I'll have the new contest up soon. This will be an interesting one I hope.
Lugubrious

My entree was based on the Stargate Episode Moebius, where they went back in time with the intent of making things better but it spiraled out of control creating a world unprepared for what it would face.

Fairy Tail for the win!
Also, rather odd picks for Shiro pairings. What was your reasoning for them and why make Shiro into a player with three gals? xD

I watch a good number of shows which have alternate reality episodes, in a bunch of them the personality traits of one or more characters will be completely reversed. Looking at Shiro's current how shall we say timid and foolish attitude the reverse would logically be arrogance. Things sort of spread out from there. Bear in mind that though they might be an odd choice for him in our reality they aren't the same girls in the story I wrote. Each of them has personality traits swapped around as well, Mokuren is a girly girl, Diamond's goth and Sangue is the school gossip.
I am now wondering who the list was... XD

The list of Shiro's girlfriends? I already listed it, they were Mokuren, Diamond and Sangue.
And Professor Agesander completely ignores Sapphire.
Did you read my contest entree? The three girlfriends was a part I had to cut out but given the personality swap I did it wouldn't exactly be abnormal.
That's a rather closed minded way of looking at things, though I will admit the direct quote speech in posts is obnoxious. We're sort of a little community aren't we? I'd like to think that we're all friends (well except for harinezumikouken cause obviously no one likes him). That should mean we're able to share stuff other than strictly Heroes of Beacon IC posts. On another RP I'm involved in one of our members is an animator and she regularly shows us some of her work to see what we think. Other RPs I've been involved with have had intense philosophical debates on them. Yes it's this particular world, this particular story that brought us together but that doesn't mean we should limit ourselves to this one story especially when a group like ours has the potential to do so much more. (Not that the story isn't enough, it's really great too.)

I shall sit here silently displaying intrest until a slot is open.
*Holds breath*

That's cool, Lugu will ad you to the waiting list at his earliest convenience and until a slot opens up you are welcome to participate in the OOC. Also it might be a good idea to create your character ahead of time just so that it's all ready if and when you area able to join the IC.
@Lugubrious I'd rather not make people spend MORE time with things other than IC?

Well it's not like anyone has to write stuff to be critiqued and for of us that have actual writing projects and a lack of people to read over them other than ourselves it might be a good thing.
...to the drastic seriousness of Prince of Seraph's entry. Don't be fooled, PoS, your entry was fantastic, and made an intriguing story in its own right, and you did well with the traits, but the hammer of "super-subjective-ism" is coming down on you this time.

Could you define "super-subjective-ism" for me. I tried looking it up but all the definitions I found didn't seem to fit with any aspect of storytelling. Also just in general as a story what did you think of it?

Perhaps you could let me know in the main thread what Abel's swapped trait was; I'm guessing from what others said, it's that in the alternate reality he has a sense of humor.

Yeah, Abel's thing was that he was essentially the Fred and George Weasly of Beacon. In the first draft there was a prank he pulled in Combat Class and just in general enough interaction to make that clear. Also if @KabenSaal is interested Mokuren was for lack of a better way to put it like Priscilla except much more of a girly girl. She was also one of Shiro's three girlfriends (the others being Sangue and Diamond). Oh and @paigesweetheart Priscilla was a by the book hardass sergeant and Goodwitch's right hand. Amy got dishonorably discharged and promptly imprisoned when it was discovered she was a Vacuo spy.
@Prince of Seraphs: You're full of vinegar lately

I resent your accusation, I haven't drunk vinegar in at least a week.
