Just out of curiosity how long is it going to take for the story to reach tomorrow IC time. That's when Elizabeth is going to wake up and by the looks of what's happening to Dawn he's going to be out for at least a day.

@Silver Fox
I started reading the Fairy Tail manga and each time I think about Prince, I can't help but imagine him as a exceed that's stuck in a human like form because of some transformation magic or curse lol

Wait, that's not what he is?
@t2wave Just so you know Elizabeth is out, like really out. The Twin Magic especially at early stages is incredibly taxing. She's not going to wake up for hours, possible even a day or two. So whatever Ariel would do after finding an unconscious girl in the mix you can go ahead and do.
@Crimson Raven Still waiting on Ferrin.

Okay her magic revolves around paint and pictures so she'd be a decent artist. That's still no reason why she'd have to draw a specific painting of Van Gogh. It could just as easily be said that "it was impressively detailed for a picture drawn in the dirt, appearing almost like a painting in quality". It would get the same idea across without unnecessarily dragging in a random historical piece from another world.
I understand what you mean. When referencing something like that, it would be odd. But as long as it's being used to help describe something, I'm okay with it.

But it's not being used to describe something, it's not saying "she drew a portrait in the dirt much like Van Gogh's Starry Night" giving us some nice imagery, it is literally saying she drew Van Gogh's Starry Night. Usually it bugs me when people reference real world things when describing in RP things but as long as it's nothing particularly extreme I try to let it go. This just seems downright strange. I don't really know the character involved so maybe it was supposed to iterate that they were a good artist or had a good memory for pictures, I don't know but there are better ways to do that than dragging an oddly specific thing from the real world into Fiore. Then if it wasn't actually important and she was just passing the time it seems it would be better just to say that she was drawing in the dirt if what she was drawing wasn't important.
Usually when I see people reference things from the real world, I tend to just see it as a easy way to describe something.

I mean sure if you're describing someone who looks "Asian" or someone wearing "60s fashion style" but a specific and famous painting seems completely different. It'd be like if I had Dawn sit down in the hotel and start watching Star Wars Episode VII on Lacrimavision.
She dragged her finger over the ground to finish the last line of her dirt art work. A replicate of the famous painting of van gogh.

Is there a painter in Fiore named Van Gogh? Otherwise I think this falls under real world trivia that wouldn't exist in the setting.
@Caits@CirusArvennicus@Silver Fox@t2wave Is one of you guys going to deal with Elizabeth? She's still unconscious in the hallway a couple meters from Karn.
