Appearance: Des stands at a fair five foot, six inches. Weighing in at a good hundred twenty-five pounds. Wearing a large, black cardigan tied with a sash. A deep hood covers shoulder length, dirty blonde hair, obscuring her eyes along with her bangs that hang down to her high cheek bones. Grey tank, and black jeans accent a slim figure. Pointed toed, black, soft leather boots. Her face is lean and sharp, save a button nose. Des wears three silver rings on her left hand. She also has fangs, and sharp nails from her mutation. She also often sprouts ears and tail when content, nervous or not paying attention to control her powers.
Age/grade: 15 / 10th
Power/mutation: She can take the form, or qualities (I.e. Wings, claws, tail, ears, fur) of mammals or certain birds. However she can only take one form at a time and cannot combine them. She also needs knowledge on that animal's physiology, and psychology. She cannot speak with them as she would with humans.
Medical considerations: None.
Personality: Quick witted, smart-mouthed and strong willed. Des is quick on her feet and with her hands having a case of kleptomania. She finds amusement in mischief and prowling the night. Though for all of this, she has no love of humans without powers and regards them with wary suspicion. Des hates others coming into her mind, and often notes all exits and threats in a room or situation.
History: Desdemona never knew her father, her mother kicked her out when she started showing mutations shortly after her fourteenth birthday. Her mother was already protesting the 'superiors' and demanding them to be contained, so having a monster of a daughter wasn't a option. Des left and lived on her own wandering to the local nature park with a tent and several items she pinched from various places. There she lived and slowly learned a few forms. First she learned fox, then raven, and deer. After wandering into town to get some gear for winter, she was nabbed by the police and put into foster care when she wouldn't give her identity away. From there she was brought to the school shortly after she revealed her powers, much against her will.
Equipment: A swiss-army knife in her boot, flint, cellphone, and a set of lock-picks in the opposite boot from the knife.
