Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

{"Monsters aren't usually in the skin of a beast. Far too often they wear the skin of Man."}

The wind-song was all about Ayita as she rode the currents of the skies. So much like the ocean but with rules and dangers all it's own. A falcon's wings beat once or twice as she scaled higher above the world and it's troubles. She was aware of the mutants going missing, it was why she was up here. Few things matched the joy of flying, the instinct of the falcon was in full agreement. Tilting her wings, she rode a thermal about the school. Below she was students walking about, saw smaller bundles of feathers and meat dart for cover upon sensing her shadow and the falcon-girl let them. Their meat was not what she was after, she had eaten and was content. No need to stoop and strike the lesser simply for sport. It was something she wished the humans would do. Let the mutants be. But there was sport or some threat the odd creatures that popped up posed. The falcon though was leaning more towards threat to the nests and eggs of the 'normal' people.

It was dwelling upon these things and listening to the wind-song, she heard the Professor's voice within her mind. It was a odd thing, but not overly odd. For did not the instinct of her form guide her? Did she not risk losing herself in fear and panic to it? The freedom and desires of these bodies often made her reluctant to return to her own. But she released the though of refusal to fly higher and farther, and stooped. The wind-song screamed pass her as she plummeted towards the unforgiving earth. A dance of death to dive so steeply. Yet there was no greater joy. Pulling up she landed on the lip of a window in her winged form, before carefully navigating her way to the professor's office.

Human feet replacing talons, arms replacing wings. Though her eyes still had the quick and wild look about them, and her head still moved in sharp quick movements. Though her body moved with a predator's gait. Feathers of white mixed with her hair, those of a the gyrfalcon form she had chosen. Pausing before at the door she did a quick cast over of the room, with a quick nod to the Professor who had called her from the sky and the wind-song she still heard. Marygold she knew- if by the form of a cat. She did not really give Allison a greeting save by a quick tilt of her head, but simply leaned against the nearest wall watching the pink girl's back. The girl- Allison, she reminded herself- was a curiosity and not all bad, if a bit... Enthusiastic. It still unnerved the shifter. Though Ayita amber eyes quickly turned to watch the other girl she had never seen. Her body tensing as if to spring to attack or flee into the wind and sky. Forcing her arms to cross her chest she simply stared at the newcomer. Waiting to hear who this was, and why she had been called down from the wind-song and a good flight.
