How does one get Mega-Attributes? Is it simply spending points that go past level 5 on the attributes?

Edit: Also how many points do we get? Is it the same way the core rule book state in which you get your primary, secondary, and tertiary attribute sets?

And sorry for asking so many questions, but do we get the standard 7 points for background stuff?

What is going on with Ametris anyways, I've kinda been out of the loop.

D&D 5e: Plight of Greed

Despite a blade being put through his shoulder, the old man Gale was hardier than he looked and it shocked the dwarven bandit. Gale let out a laugh and pulled the dagger out of his shoulder and threw upon the ground, proclaiming, “Ha! You think a dagger can take me out? What are you stupid?! This will teach you to challenge me!” Then a mace came into contact with face of the dwarf, knocking back and making the captain turn tail and try to get away from the madman. No longer wishing to face someone who would fight tooth and nail in an open area such as the burning place of the camp.

However, through one of the burning stockades came the goliath, clad in armor and brandishing his longsword. Cleaving down at the dwarven captain who barely had time to stop the the blade by deflecting it with his own. David had let out a loud battlecry, loud enough to make his ancestors proud and upon hearing it and seeing how they have been outflanked, the remaining bandits dropped their weapons and broke formation, while their captain stood his ground.

“You fools! Get back ‘ere and finish the fight!” He roared, raising his sword to do combat despite being surrounded by this point in the fight.

Ladata’s Gang

They were late for the summons of the Supreme Being, Volaris, extremely late. It angered Sagi to no avail and Lexicon was too nonchalant for it, constantly groaning that since it was not Lady Ladata then it was not important for him. However, after a tense standoff between the two in the sacrificial chambers, Xirphi, the roamer that she was, had split the two up by grasping Lexicon with the tendrils that made up her tongues. It was not as if he could fight back either, Xirphi’s personal strength was to great for either Sagi or the child genius to do anything that would be known as damage to her.

Yet, they had arrived and bowed to Volaris, except Lexicon who was too arrogant for his own good. ”Bow, welp,” Xirphi commanded to no response from Lexicon, it angered her but she did not show it. Instead she let loose a tendril to wrap around the child’s neck and slam him face first into the ground, it was not too much strength in that it was harm the boy too much, but enough to show who was dominant.

”Many apologies, Lord Volaris. As the spawn of Mistress Ladata, it is inexcusable that we be tardy to any summons of a mighty power, such as yourself, forgive us,” the golem spoke, a hollowed, echoey voice emanating from the armor Ladata had spent so much time to perfect. He towered over the child and the devourer, even while bowing down to Volaris, before he stood and his full height was understood. It intimidated the boy, though not so much for Xirphi who knew her more perfect form was far larger and superior than anything most of the guild could form. The many eyes on his gauntlets gazed around, scanning for any hostile entities as he followed his orders of protecting the guild.

On the other hand, Xirphi, while in her bow, edged closer and closer to Volaris, stating in a sadistic tone, ”I will make sure that this insolent child learns his place in comparison to such magnificence as yourself. Despite being a brilliant young man, he does not know his place within the guild.” Her Speech was slightly impeded by her tendrils which still held down the subject that she talked about. However, Lexicon was still noticeably struggling against the grip, despite how futile it was against Xirphi’s personal strength.

@Lauder Amestris are the city states which lie between the Ironhearts (on their East slopes) and the Metatic Ocean. The city of Xerxes used to be their capital, and Amartia used to be their leader.
