I have a hacking competition tomorrow from 9:00 to 6:30, so I'll be out for a while.
Anyone gonna post?

Absolutely true.

Something like that would be a phenomenal piece of engineering.

Yes and no. Saying we rely on him is not exactly the right word, but I wouldn’t call it wrong either. Society just says, “Hey, this man is a prodigy at what he’s decided to do for us. We’ll let him do his thing, and step in if needed.” That’s all we really can do anyways. Again, the man is practically a force of nature, and I know nothing in the IA that can stop anything he wills strongly enough. It’s almost a scary thought.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
Well, I’ll be fully honest on this one. Firstly, I don’t know of a single person or method of restraining that man if he doesn’t want to be. He’s too danged tough and has too many connections. Secondly, he’s darned good at what he does, and his existence, when he’s working for the good guys- which he always is except in those “slip up” moments we mentioned- he makes just about everything so much easier on everyone. And no one takes that for granted, since, just like right now, we’ve been in situations without him. They’re livable, but man do they suck... In short, even if we question him and his motivations, that man gives a lot more to the well being if society than just about anyone is even capable of.

What do you mean?
<Snipped quote by Legend>
About his mental and emotional stability. He’s slipped in the past and lots of people suffered for it, but he’s also good at making amends. But people still fear about him falling into that pit you mentioned again.
<Snipped quote by Legend>
I’ve heard about his controversial past, but I can only say that you probably know more than I about the details. Regardless, I sure hope you’re right. A big hole was left in the absence of he and his colleagues, and it’s been filled, sure, but it’s not the same.
