Not really. I've heard rumors about my ancestors ticking off some kind of rain deity and getting cursed. Some told me that I was sent to bring water to our farms. Others say I just got lucky or unlucky, depending on who you ask.

I still have a sense of touch, but it's really different. I don't itch, and pain is rare. It's more psychological.

Yeah, it's light refraction. In my liquid state, I can't look like much else, but if I freeze I can look like pretty much anything I want.

Well, both, if it’s different.
Back then, I wore a lot of clothes and tried to not lose control of my appearance; I had to be really careful of getting worked up. Now I don't worry about that anymore.
