I'll play. I was born on a planet called Misneachd, then it was promptly wiped out. I lived, with a handful of people, and moved on to live in an orphanage on another world, until that one was wiped out too, along with the entire interstellar society of my people. But the tragedy ends very early, as I moved on and lived among tiny straggling societies that remained. Eventually found my way into the wider multiverse, made name for myself in a few circles, that grew into... More than a few circles. Eventually, I became known as a patron of my people as they began to rebuild a true society from the ground up, and I helped bring in some of the resources to do so.

Hm, names to trust... I suppose anyone can be trusted under the perfect circumstances, as well as distrusted. For your purposes, I don't know of someone likely to come here who would gain some sort of advantage by deceiving you. And, of course, you have no guarantee you can trust me.
