But, there are some people who I've never seen before who were tortured or getting killed in my nightmares.One was a girl with dark purple hair and two different colored eyes. Another was a man whose body was tattooed and his left eye had a weird symbol on it. Oh, and there was another man with red hair....he kinda looked like a male version of Aunt Erza.

Only trying to prove the difference between when something is based on something and it isn't. And if course it doesn't change the movie, but knowing it was based on something real makes it more interesting to me.
The content is all that matters. Just pretend it was based on events.

Because in order to base something off of something else means you hae to have knowledge of the event, do research about said event, then make the work based off facts you discovered. Otherwise, it's not based off of anything and is only just a similar story.
What's the difference? Seriously, why does it matter what the intention was? It doesn't change the movie.

What came to mind right now is to keep close watch over those who were killed or tortured in my nightmares. So when they do get attacked, we can aid them immediately.

No, basing something off of real events means that that was the intention. A lot of times, it's unintentional, but yet still largely true.

Yes...cause....so any peopled died throughout all of the nightmares. Even by people who we thought were friends...and people I haven't seen before.
