You just have to survive for a few days/weeks, in game as said creature.
@Skwint @GarlandDaHero @KatKook Just in case you'd not seen the above post.
That CS looks fine for a lil barky boy. I'm not expecting much from Monster character sheets. Though adding some fluff is always nice.
Ok the OOC is up. But I've still got some work to do.

Welcome!

This here is an RP about monster hunter. If you haven’t heard or played of monster hunter don’t worry. Just think of this as and RP about… Hunting monsters… Or playing them if you want. While I do recommend doing a little research if you have no idea what’s going on. I am also here to help and am happy to answer any questions (I can yammer on about monster hunter all day). At this point I’d like to lay out my rules.

1. Be civil, if you can’t do that then I’ll have to ask you to leave.
2. This is my interpretation of the monsters and how strong they are, but if you disagree then feel free to discuss it with me.
3. Regular posting is prefered. Once every two weeks is the requirement. If you’re unable to meet the deadline please tell me, life comes first. And if you are just struggling to come up with something to write just talk to me and we can sort it out.
4. If your characters are going to do something frisky then take it to the DMs.
5. You are limited to 2 characters in the hunter faction and 1 in the monster faction. If you get bored of the monster you are currently playing, then tell and you can drop that monsters and switch to a different one.
6. Post character sheets in the OOC for validation first.

For the hunters.

Welcome to the jungle island of, well it doesn’t have a name yet actually. You’re some of the first feet here, and it’s your job to set up the first bits of civilization on this island. You and whatever ragtag team of people you got paired with are all you’ve got here, so you better be ready to work together, or else you might not be making it off the island. Though you’ve been given a map of the island by the guild, while it’s very rough considering it was taken from the safety of a hot air balloon it’s still got enough information to help you start out.

As for where you decide to set up your village, that’ll dictate what kind of problems you’ll have to deal with along with what resources are locally available, how much of said resources are available and the rarity of said materials. Here’s a map and little table to help you out. Also keep in mind this story is supposed to mostly be forged by you guys. I’m just here to provide obstacles and control NPCs. The island does have secrets, like massive boss monsters and things like that. But looking for those early on is obviously not a good idea.

Also don’t feel like your character has to be a fully fledged hunter, you could be a simple fisherman who’s forced to pick up a weapon to survive in these new lands. And maybe you eventually become an exceptional aquatic hunter, punching Lagiacrus in the face and what not.

Another thing to note for hunters is how quests will work. As you’re all settlers here, there isn’t that much money going around. And there is no guild presence, so gold itself is not of huge value. That being said you are still paid and need to pay for different things. Equipment upgrades and construction is something that costs money, but things like kitchen meals and items from the item stockpile are not. Though if you do something like set up a dock to import goods, then money would become much more prevalent.

Monster domestication will also be a feature, within reason of course. Things like Aptanot, Larinoth and perhaps some of the smarter creatures would be tameable. Though savage brutes like Deviljho have no chance of being domesticated. Also keep in mind that domesticated monster players are not off the table.

And finally races. Take your pick! Wyverian, Troverian, Sea Person or Human. Just keep in mind the culture of the race you pick, Wyverians are uncommon in the Hunting profession as are Troverians that leave the village of Harth .Also for the hell of it if you want you can play a Shakalaka or Felyne you can.

For the monsters.

But if being a humanoid isn’t your style then why not play as a monster? There isn’t really much to say about what you do, it’s pretty obvious. Though keep in mind that when you play as a monster you are not in a safe place. Your character can die very easily, and you need to remember that when a Deviljho decides you’re it’s next meal. Also be wary of getting domesticated by hunter players, it is a possibility. Though if you don’t want to be tamed than just say so. That being said I don’t want to see people playing monsters and just walking into the hunters hands for free resources or tames. If I see anything like that then I’ll be taking your monster as if you’d been killed.
Finally as a monsters you’ll have to work you way up, I won’t be just letting you drop in as a Black Gravios and beat the life from things. You’ve got to start small and work your way up. Starting from D tier and below, and as you survive as these creatures you get to go the next rank up. Though monsters in A tier and up are locked, so that there is always a monster out there to threaten you that isn’t a boss/mini boss of that area. Though you will be able to play above A tiers on occasion when you’ve been sitting comfortably in B tier for a while. Though these occasions will be limited to a singular fight, be it with hunters or other monsters.

Character sheets.

Here are the CS formats. Feel free to decorate them in any way you like.

Well this is great news! Looks like I better get the OOC up right quick!
There are lots of details on a google doc that can be found below. And as of posting this interest check the document is still a WIP

Diana was a little shocked when the tiny woman pulled her into a hug, though that shock quickly turned to annoyance as Diana could feel how tight Bisque was holding on. She tried to escape the hug a little but didn't feel she was getting anywhere. She submitted to being held there for a time, though her temper was quickly getting the better of her. She look in Yoki's direction her foul mood steadily growing worse. "I've noticed."

Diana was surprised such a horrible combination of traits had mixed themselves into one person. Bisque had no idea of personal space, and was a long hugger. Diana's escape attempts became a little more forceful now, slowly prying Bisque off her. But while she was doing this Bisque managed to strike a nerve. I can't help it she looks like she could use a little love in her life! It was at that point that Diana simply shoved Bisque off her person, her hair lighting up faintly. She Looked Bisque right in the eyes. "That is quite enough! You would do well to learn what boundaries are! Unless you would like me to demonstrate what earned me the 'specialist' title!" Diana then stormed onto the aircraft and took a seat.
Hogan lay in the back of the van, net even responding to Arthur's hello. That was mostly due to the fact that Hogan had fallen asleep while Arthur was conducting his research. Though when the man started talking on the phone the crocodile's slumber was interrupted. Hogan was slightly annoyed about getting woken up but he knew that the starting of the van was going to wake him up anyway. Speaking of he hoped that wherever they were headed wasn't far, he wasn't sure how much movement his stomach would be able to take. Hogan was also starting to feel how tight the back of the van was. He hoped that he'd be able to get out soon, maybe wander around in a park or swim in a lake. While he did appreciate the ability to move places quickly while not having to do anything, his body was very much against the idea.
Probably still needs some touch ups.
